We stayed next door to this resort for 10 days and had occasion to visit several times. Formerly Ambergris Divers Resort but now under new ownership is now called Sun Diver Resort. Behind the bar, Omar was fun and knew his craft. He was also generous with his pour. This may cost the bar a few cents per drink but we became repeat customers which, I’m sure, made up for it. Also, the portion of ceviche was generous and delicious. The beach location is terrific and open to people walking by, sev... Read more

We (group of 8) tried 4 times to stop at this place during our week at the Caye Villas 5Mar-12Mar 2016. My husband and finally hit it on an open day mid-week and I sampled many wonderful drinks from the friendly bartender who told us she is originally Canadian (although living in Belize many, many years now). She made great drinks and the bar had a great view. I would recommend a stop for anyone passing by.

Stayed at the Sundiver Beach Resort for six nights. This was for a work trip (22 people in our group) and had the resort to ourselves. We had great service from the moment we landed in San Pedro till we left. They had someone meet us at Tropic Air when we landed and took us to the dock for the water taxi ride to the resort. We had a large group and couldn't all fit on one plane so they took the first group to the resort then came back for the rest. We were greeted with beers so everyone w... Read more

We had Suite 12, Turtle Suite. This is the most amazing resort for relaxation and personal service. If you don't want the impersonal hustle and bustle of a large resort this place is for you. Food was amazing. Staff was amazing. Chester, Omar, Mario and all the girls were like family. Brian the owner took care of all our needs from booking trips off site; like snorkeling, jet skis, massages, and even a last minute wedding! Can't wait to return. No television in your room. For me, that made my tr... Read more

I just went diving with these guys again and it was great (again). This is just such a good deal. You go get your equipment, take a 6 minute boat ride, see the Belizean reef, ride back to the dock and have a snack, go for a second dive - all in 3 hours. The dive master took a container of chum for the sharks and we were able to swim with over a dozen sharks that were attracted. All the employees are very nice and helpful. The price is slightly higher this year, but still well worth it.

We saw this place on a TV show call Caribbean Life. The current owners bought the place in fall 2015. My wife and I wanted to go see how they were doing during our visit to the Caye. It is about 4.5 miles north of town past Captain Morgan's and Coco Beach resort. There is a small sign on the main road directing you to this family run facility. While the owner was not there during our visit (they were in town buying supplies) we had several drinks at the beach bar and the bartender Oscar was... Read more
