Access to the Portofino Beach Resort is by boat only, and therefore the resort offers a complimentary meet and greet service at San Pedro Airstrip and boat transfer to the resort. The transfer takes just 15 minutes, and the concierge service ensures that Guest luggage is taken promptly to the rooms. The resort also offers a free boat service to San Pedro Town several times per day. Outside of these times, there is an Island Ferry service that runs up and down the island at least every two hours.

Hurricane Policy: Should a hurricane pose a threat to Belize and to Portofino Beach Resort, you may postpone your trip for up to 1 year. If a hurricane approaches while you are visiting Portofino Beach Resort, you will be moved to a comparable resort inland at no further expense. If a hurricane damages Portofino Beach Resort and it cannot be reopened, you will be fully refunded.
