Spent a week here and enjoyed the location. Very close to train station and easy trip to Brussels from there. Many restaurants close by, and breakfast was very good. Hotel staff worked very hard to take care of our large group, always supported us with our many questions. Happy Travels, ExploreTraveler John Gentry

Got Family bedroom. Good: Nice location and room looks nice, receptionist Jimmy is a charmer, convenient car park under hotel, and it's good value for money. Bad: Had to ask reception to get me duvets for my children cause they were missing, Shower cabin door is about to fall out and leaks water through, cups for coffee are made from paper, so for a 4 start hotel is a bit lacking in quality, but price-wise is still a very good deal.

Family bedrooms are big, modern and clean with minibar, wifi and good size bathroom. Breakfast is outstanding with great buffet and lots of choice. Drawback was on arrival at 4pm our room wasn't cleaned yet and we were send into the dirty and messy room to wait. It was the cleaner who then rang reception again and arranged a different and clean room for us. This could have happened right away as waiting in the dirt room wasn't pleasant. Car park isn't included and also isn't very cheap.

room was nice and clean. free WiFi and very good and rich breakfast. some noise comes from the brewery over the street but but i heard it only if opened window. on-line checking didn't work well, i had to wait in queue for the only receptionist at desk. i can recommend to stay here

Not my favorite Novotel, despite it's name it's not really in the city center, its a 15 minute walk to the grote markt. The hotel is located right across the Stella Artois Brewery, so if you like to visit the brewery this hotel is definitely the right choice. There is an underground parking in the hotel and they charge about 15 euro per 24 hours which is a fair price. Check in took quite some time, even though i checked in online i still had to wait inline to get my key... The room was clean and... Read more

I was several time on this hotel in 2012 and as I had to a visit to Leuven I decided to stay here again. The hotel is quite good located at just 15 minutes walking from the train station and from the city center. The rooms are clean and have a very good soundproofing. Breakfast is good as always and the bar is also very good (although a little bit slow)

The room was not cleaned properly upon my arrival. The bathroom sink was not clean and there was a drinking glass from a previous guest left on the window ledge. The window ledge was also covered in dead flies. This is not the usual Novotel standard. Also the perks of being a gold member were not offered to me until I asked for them.

Nice hotel close to central Leuven. It has all the normal stuff, clean, OK food and acceptable gym. Very friendly staff and good service. The air con in the rooms is basically useless. If warm rooms suit you then it's fine, however if you fancy sleeping in a coolish room this is not the place for you.

The hotel is in a great location; we were able to walk everywhere. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel. The bar area was very nice to come back to and relax with drinks after a long day of touring. The rooms had all of the essential amenities. Would be nice to have a free coffee bar in the lobby.

This particular Novotel boasts a friendly, helpful staff with a nice bar and restaurant and it's located right in the heart of town. It's literally across the street from the Stella Artois brewery and a 10 min. walk to all the shopping and sights of the center of town. The hotel is very clean and well-maintained and I'd even call it modern. I was very happy with the decor and the cleanliness of my room. Highly recommended.

Very good Hotel, the rooms are very modern and seems like renovated recently, only the carpet seems old, the reception staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and willing to help. The historical downtown and it's wonderful and Charming town hall and Cathedral are within 15 min walking distance, the restaurant bar is nice but there's no big choice it's a bit limited. A very convenient Hotel for business.

It is unfortunate that I have to give this hotel a very bad rating despite the fact that I find Novotel chain of hotels excellent in general. I was on a business trip; had a 3.5 hr journey from London and reached the hotel at around midnight, only to find that they had sold out all the rooms! The staff were apologetic and attributed this to a system failure. They booked me into the nearby Ibis hotel, which is not exactly a match by any stretch of imagination. Why they couldn't notify me earlier... Read more

Easy access, nice, clean rooms, great bed & linnen with different cussions :-) really enjoyed my stay. Only negative point was the obligation to give a credit card or 50â?¬ cash upfront to cover possible minibar expenses. The room was already paid for by the employer.

Nice hotel within easy walking distance from train station. Room was a good size, very clean with superb shower. Fridge and safe in room. Reception spacious with friendly, helpful staff. Gym basic but perfect for early morning workout. Gym has sauna although not working on this trip along with personal facilities. The Breakfast selection is extensive. Something for everyone. Although a little pricey if you fill up in the morning you would most likely not need to eat again until the evening. Hote... Read more

- bar is great, fresh Stella and other nice beverages right next to the brewery - bartenders are very friendly and kind (Tatjana / Dominici) - reception is positive - rooms are usual, sometimes pipes have noises....which should not be the case for a 4 star hotel, windows are dirty and on the curtains I saw cigarette fire burn signs....

Easy to find and no hassle on a Sunday afternoon. Location is good, near the main train station. Parking with our van was no problem at all. We got a clean room. We didn't book breakfast but was charge for it. I emailed the hotel and called but still waiting for their reply. I was told they were too busy to check. I hope that would be settled too. We stayed in Penta hotel before but I would rather recommend this one.

The hotel is ideally situated on walking distance (15 minutes) of Leuven centre. Quit clean room, good (very long) bed, free wifi and a good breakfast. The hotel has a parking garage (cost 12 euro's a day). The only distadvantage is the price (90 euro's excluding tax and excluding parking) a day.

My daughter.and myself stopped at this hotel last week, returning to England from Austria, what a fabulous hotel, warm, friendly, & quiet. Spacious rooms, spotlessly clean throughout. Opposite the Stella artois brewery. Which was not a problem. Whole heartedly recommend this hotel. Sorry but great choices for breakfast.

If you want to break up your journey and stay at an interesting location without battling the traffic in Brussels this is ideal. Its !0 mins from the motorway and located on the ring road around Leuven just past the station and opposite the ' Stella ' Brewery. There is a pleasant 20-30 minute stroll into town. The easiest way is to walk back up to the station and take the main road into the centre, lined with shops. There is reasonably priced paid parking under the hotel the ramp just past the h... I stayed at this hotel from july 21 to july 26, 2016. I really loved their breakfast buffet: wide selection, one of the largest breakfast menu i ever got. Warning though: it costs $20 per person. With Many US hotels giving free breakfast nowadays, it was a little disappointing. Another issue was the elevators. Two elevators available, but one of them had problem reading my room card, and it was not just me. And the other elevator would not come down until the first one goes up. Nightmare, i had ... Used this Novotel since the Rattle that Lock concert by David Gilmour was going to end after midnight (actually at 0:40AM) in Tienen. This hotel is the nicest and closest brand hotel to Tienen. It is comfortable, has good lobby facilities, rich breakfast choice and even famous professional cyclists like Sven Nijs as its guests! Novotel is predictably comfortable, I do not need to think about this choice. It is always good, cannot make a mistake. Sorry Novotel management. You are predictably good... Read more

Nice rooms and reception staff exceptionally helpful but restaurant very poor probably had the worst meal for a long time here, with service extremely slow to. So if you need a cheap place to put your head down this will be ok but if you want a nice meal be prepared to walk 1 km to the town where there are many restaurants. Breakfast was just ok no real fresh fruit alot of canned fruit. Wi fi good and parking is under the hotel at 12 euros a day

We stopped off here in Leuven for just one night. The hotel was amazing. The staff were so friendly and so helpful. The room was wonderful. If you prefer nice clean well-lit rooms with modern furniture, then this is probably the best hotel in Leuven. The breakfast buffet spread is decent --- my only complaint is that there could be a few more hot items. One downside is that it is a bit of a walk away from the town center. The best thing about this hotel are the rooms. There's nothing much in its immediate vicinity --- basically just some small businesses and a gigantic Stella Artois brewery. A reasonably priced modern hotel within a short walk of the town centre and railway station. Our room was comfortable and clean with a good sized bathroom and separate toilet. Three BBC channels on the television. This hotel gets very busy at times as it takes coach parties. The breakfast buffet was good with plenty of choice including cooked breakfast and waffles. We stayed here on a Sunday night enroute to Germany. The view from our window was the Stella Artoire factory, not great. The hotel restaurant wanted 20 euro for a burger so we walked into the local town centre and found a great little Italian with Pizza's for 8 euro. The room was very modern and the bed comfortable. Breakfast is overpriced at 16 euro each, even with the extensive choice. Not somewhere we would choose to stay again. Underground car park is a bonus, but they charge for it.

Hotel is a usual Novotel-Business hotel that I have used for one week when staying here. Rooms are o.k. with working facilities, large enough and good equipped, so nothing that bothers. Parking fee is 15 EUR per night, but room cost up to 170 EUR per night is much too much for that level of hotel. The restaurant is not really nice and not really separated from the lobby, which does not give you a real dinner experience. However, further services like spa etc. are in place.

Novotel is always good, from Middle East to Belgium they know how to care about my stay. Gym, food, service is pretty standard and nice. Clean rooms, long menu on breakfast, strong wifi. All you need for 2-3 days stay. Window view is nothing special for people who never seen Stella Artua Brewery plant. It's always overbooked, so you need to think about booking in advance if you want to stay big group.
