Loved hotel design very much ?? stylish contemporary atmosphere is in good contrast with Ghent medieval historical architecture. Very fancy and interesting! Strongly recommend to have breakfast in the courtyard garden and enjoy birds signing. Very nice rooms with big balconies facing garden and courtyard. Very helpful staff on reception and restaurant. Strongly recommed to say when in Ghent!

Stayed for four nights in early December. The hotel is stunning, from the rooms to the entrance hall and staircase. There is also an excellent spa facility which was highly welcome in the winter. It's a very short walk from the centre of Ghent, which is a lovely city to explore.

We stayed three nights at the Grand Hotel Reylof and were pleased with our choice. The location is good as only just over 5 minutes walk from the medieval centre but in a relatively quiet location The hotel is stylish with modern décor. The public areas and the rooms all look interesting and the dining room / bar which is where breakfast is served is a great space in which to spend time. The modern art throughout the hotel may not be to everyone's taste but it gives a lot of character. Our... Read more

Stayed there for one night. I loved this hotel, it is unique in every aspect, the layout, the landscaping the decoration, it was all just perfect. The staff there made it an even more pleasant stay. The breakfast was also delicious with killer pan cakes. My only issue was with the gym, it was very small with not too many equipment for a hard workout. However I would definitely go there again.

I would definitely recommend this hotel and come back for another stay. The food at the restaurant was delicious and very cheap for what we had. My friend and I both work in the food industry and we really liked everything we had, from the macchiato and hot chocolate to the lunch.

Very good service in a well appointed hotel just a few minutes from the main square. We, all seven of us, had a great time and enjoyed our stay very much indeed. It helps that Ghent is a great place to visit and the hotel provided all we needed. I travel quite a bit and would recommend the Raylof.

Superior facility with large and elegant public spaces (indoor and garden) and the bonus of a small but fine workout space in a separate building. Perfectly suited to business travelers with its northern European formality, but an easy walking trip to St Bavo's for the tourist.

The evening meal on the friday was first class and enjoyed drinks aplenty in the courtyard. Only niggles was no coffee in the hotel room (why?) and the breakfast is grossly over-priced - although relatively standard for the area. we didnt bother with breakfast as there are suitable alternatives close to the hotel. i'd go back there without a do... Enjoying an excellent location a short walk from all the main attractions of the city, the hotel has lovely public spaces and attractive peaceful garden spaces. Our room was very well designed and had a very spacious modern bathroom and pleasant balcony. The bed was very comfortable. We had a superior room that was located on the 3rd floor facing the courtyard. The room was huge but almost empty of furniture. The TV was probably 24" and their was no coffee or tea maker. Bed was good and room was quiet due to double windows. A/C could not be used as blowing fully onto the bed unbearable even in low fan mode. Restaurant was expensive but food was mediocre. Restaurants out in town where much better.

Stayed for one night with a friend after a long weekend road trip in Europe. In summary: - We chose the hotel for the location and underground parking. On arrival we were originally told the hotels car park was full. After then being directed by the front desk to a public car park which was also full we returned to the hotel and were then offered a parking space. The hotel car park was not that busy?! - Checked into room and then went to dine in hotel restaurant, maitre d was unbelievably rude a... Read more

We stayed here for one night during the Ghent festival. The hotel is in a stunning old building and it has been beautifully kept. The room we had was large and beautiful, clean and tidy. We used the spa facilities and whilst the pool is a little small (especially when there was 6 in it!) it was perfect for a cool down during a heatwave! The spa area is beautiful and very relaxing. The hotel is perfect walking distance into the centre. We didn't stay for breakfast as sadly we didn't have time. We... Read more

Great hotel, but room with no charm in the new area. Main area is well designed, decoration, and bar area is quite cosy.. Staff is pretty nice, and Location is really good. Lunch was pretty good too. It's with the money.

great hotel with nice atmosphere. I already stayed several at the Reylof and it´s definetly my first choice to stay when I´m in Ghent. The whole staff team is friendly and you feels welcome every time. Also the bar and restaurant are on a high quality level and you can spend a good time after a hard working day. The hotel is also within walking distance of all the major points of interest and good shopping areas. I can fully recommend it!

I've stayed at the Reylof at least 8 times and it has never wavered in its excellence. On my last trip there I chose to eat on the premises and had a beautiful 4 course meal cooked to perfection with 2 bottles of excellent wine both reasonably priced. The garden, where I chose to eat,was a great setting for my meal. It was a pity my girlfriend wasn't with me as it would of been very romantic. Overall the hotel and staff are great. The bar staff were perfect and excellent at their job. Being in th... Read more

Brilliant hotel in an excellent location to explore Gent. Staff from Reception to restaurant to housekeeping were genuinely friendly. Old building with up to date modern facilities. All staff spoke perfect English which made our visit that much easier. Really nice food.

Stayed here prior to a Viking European River cruise. Beautifully maintained premises and cooperative lobby/reception personnel. Spent 2 nights and fully enjoyed it. Location quite convenient to sights of this quaint and pretty town. Dined one evening at the hotel's restaurant; food was delicious but priced a bit on the high side.

The hotel's location is very nice. The room could be better for a 5 stats hotel. The safe box was not working and I nedd to call the reception to open it for me and save my passport and money. The staff was nice.

Great hotel in a great location. Breakfast exceeded expectations. We checked out to make a weekend trip to Brugge and asked if we could leave some baggage in storage since we were coming back for a conference. When we got back and checked in again, our baggage had already been delivered to our new room. This was unexpected and very nice!

Room was comfortable but found it weird that the wardrobe was put in the entrance of the room, making the hallway very tight, when there was plenty of space (even too much) in the rest of the room. Underground car park under construction, signs not clear that you can't exit through the exit.

We had never been to Ghent, so finding this gem was ideal. It is located fantastically, only a few minutes walking to the city and parking is superb in the hotel underground, even for larger and higher vehicles. The room was lovely and the bathrobes and balcony with view into the courtyard was special. We enjoyed a bottle of bubbles before dining in the superb LOF hotel restaurant. The food, ambience, music, service...everything was spot on. If someone proposes to someone at the table next to yo... Read more

Centrally located, perfect walking distance to visit Ghent. Very nice, cosy, elegant rooms. Excellent breakfast buffet. I was skeptical at first of the self serve automatic coffee maching for espresso, capuccino etc... but it was by far the best coffee, capuccio I have had from an automatic machine. I only wished they would open earlier in the morning as many people need to travel back to Brussells to catch flights in the morning, and although breakfast was included in my rate, I could not enj... A beautiful hotel with fantastic rooms. This was the perfect place to enjoy the music festival from - away from the nighttime noise of the celebrations without being miles away from all the action. We very much enjoyed our junior suite complete with a bath in the bedroom - very opulent. The staff were extremely helpful and genuinely friendly from check-in to check-out. One of the nicest small hotels I've stayed in.

Pleasant quiet hotel with lovely ambience and good breakfasts. Excellent location - I stayed in a garden room at the back. The only disappointment was the room service meal the first night. The hotel is within walking distance of local attractions at the heart of Ghent.
