I stayed at the Park Hotel for one week to conclude business in Ghent. I was looking for affordable accommodation and this hotel have surprised me with very good and clean rooms, breakfast was excellent and in a pleasant quiet atmosphere I was able to do some work at the hotel during my visit. I will recommend this to entrepreneurs looking for affordable accomodation

Quaint hotel, unusual but I prefer standard hotel conveniences when travelling on business. It was complicated reaching someone to arrange a late check in. Very complicated instructions for letting myself in was supplied via text message in Dutch. Fortunately I do read Dutch so I understood how to get through the maze to reach the lovely warm and clean room. Breakfast was basic and the bar maid was the receptionist and the kitchen staff, although she was very polite and courteous. Wasn't a bad e... Read more

We stayed at room No 4 which looks over one of the quiet canals, outside the city centre, and woke the sound of ducks and blackbirds singing! Comfortable bed and good shower and bathroom facilities except there are no shelves to put anything on in the bathroom, not unusual but one of my usual gripes. the restaurant attached to the hotel, La Provence, is delightful but expensive; lovely old style décor, good service and delicious food. Actually we found Ghent relatively expensive compared to, sa... Read more

I really appreciated the silence in the room, in my opinion very important for business trips. Good location, not so far from the city centre and from bus/tram stops. Maybe the only drawback is the breakfast, not so rich for that price.

We found Parkhotel in Booking.Com and chose it for its location close to the city centre. The front of the building is imposing but a bit worn looking, and then you discover Parkhotel is actually a relatively new suite of hotel rooms off the back garden! The garden itself is nicely kept, the small open space is well laid out and inviting. We had two double rooms on ground level close to reception. The furniture is good quality if a bit basic, but the rooms were nicely decorated, including the b... Read more

Chosen at the last minute i a quite busy weekend, having not too many alternatives, actually. A bit complicated getting to our room on top of the building (no lift, narrow stairs, be warned if you have heavy or bulky luggage) Room ok, impeccable cleanliness. Breakfast (included) absolutely ok and in a nice environment. No concierge in the evening. Not particularly value for money, maybe if you book earlier you might find better alternatives in town.

We stayed there three nights. Room was clean and size was big enough. Breakfast was standard, some veggies would be nice. Wifi was quite slow at least in room 14. We booked a room with view to water chanel but didn't get it. Overall experience was positive.

Parkhotel is an older hotel. The staff is friendly and helpfull. The room was big and clean, only the wallpaper are dirrty. Breakfast was good and large. The location is good for events at Capitole and Vooruit. It is to far from the city center.

We checked into this hotel as a group of 12 on a stag weekend. I know that the common feeling towards groups of men on a stag weekend are loud and unpleasant, this for our group was not at all the case and we were pleasant and respectful of the quiet surroundings of the hotel. We arrived for check in and the two ladies on the desk were very pleasant and welcoming. We were told however on arrival that our booking of a group was subject to an additional fee of â?¬250, per room. We were not advise... Read more
