Steigenberger Wiltcher's hotels and resorts is a beautiful place to be. My husband and I have never had it this good. Their services were perfect. It made our honeymoon very memorable. It's location couldn't have been better. We will definitely love to come again

Luxurious old world style in the lobby and public rooms, bar was "clubby" and inviting with a fun crowd to people watch. Booked through Fine Hotels and Resorts and were upgraded to a fab duplex suite. Comfortable, luxurious and great chocolates at turn-down. Service was good all around, breakfast was very good - although we did have to wait in line one morning. Location is good too - a short walk to most tourist sites. All in all a great experience. Would give 4.5 stars if I could.

A hotel in the heart of Brussels,potential is there to be one of the best but ... Cleanliness of the room could be better,they knock at your door very early to do the room,no one is supervising the service at breakfast,you have to ask staff to be served...when you compare that to hotels in Paris or London ....there is a long way to go

Great experience. The hotel room was really big and the balcony good too for those who smokes or just want to look out and watch the views or listen to the birds chirp. Nothing to add, everything was excellent! The room was spacious and comfortable, the personnel very kind and professional and the breakfast was amazing. You can choose from a large variety of meals and complimentary champagne was also available for guests.

Everything was great, from the room to the breakfast, as was expected! I took one point off because of two unpleasant interactions with the night staff at the reception. They weren't very friendly, and most importantly really unflexible. The day staff, on the contrary, very helpful and friendly!

Slightly dated hotel with a great central location. Friendly staff. Smoky bar however and the icing on the cake was no hot water in the morning at 7am. Not happy. When I complained they were very gracious but there was nothing they could do.

We came to see rose petals on the bed and bathroom, absolutly gorgeous !!! We asked for the superior room and were surclassed to the junior suite!!! What a lovely surprise! A goregous hotel, it was a perfect ending to my princesse wedding that I wanted! Couldnt have asked for a better service!

Second stay and was again very satisfied. We had also booked a spa treatment which was wonderful. As guests in the hotel you can also use the facilities of the spa such as the swimming pool, sauna, jacuzzi and gym. Loved al the facilities, very enjoyable. Our room was clean and had all amenities we needed. Service at reception was good as in the Loui bar and at breakfast. You will see us back soon.

The Steigenberger (formerly the Conrad), is a truly beautiful hotel. Everything is high end and classic. The concierge was extremely helpful arranging a car service and train tickets to Ghent for a day trip. Our suite was well appointed, the only disappointment was the spa tub being non-functional. We had a wonderful view of the courtyard and a Juliet balcony. The champagne buffet breakfast was pricey, but wonderful.

Only stayed for the night as part of a short break across Belgium. Thankfully this is hotel of premium quality and would highly recommend staying in this location. although we had no view of note out of the back of the hotel, the room itself was stunning and definitely worth the price. we did not eat in but could sense the quality extended to other activities in the hotel. my only complaint was financial. i'm not sure why the hidden visitors tax is required payment on checkout (why not included ... disappointing the service in the Loui Lounge both in the evening and the next day. Had to ask several times to be served, they forgot to bring some of the items (water, ice cubes...), gave the wrong bill when time to pay - not what you would expect the service level to be in a 5 star hotel. Staff at entrance and reception very friendly and helpful.

An average hotel but quality of service disappointing. I requested a room with two beds. The receptionist confirmed it was the one I was given. I entered the room and it has a king size. I called and no apologies. I received as answer "on my system it is a twin beds room". The receptionist offered me a room move and came straight to my room but no assistance was offered for moving. The rooms were very nice and big with two nice arm chairs to relax and read a book. The selection of mini bar arrticles was very poor and the standard was not appropriate to a 5 star hotel. The bar in the hotel was very nice, the service prompt and friendly. The location of the hotel is ideal to explore the town of Brussels

Lovely luxury hotel. My only feedback is that we didn't always have turn down service. I was also told that I would get a little surprise in the afternoon that I checked in but I never did. Concierge service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The front desk help, especially Antonin, are impeccable here at the Steigenberger. I was to leave Brussels after one night. My room and the service were so lovely, I decided instead to stay. Very welcoming staff and arrived to a lovely large room. It is situated very close to an underground train line (Louise) for ease of travel. There is also some nice restaurants a short walk away with lots of high street branded stores close by. We really enjoyed our stay at Steigenberger in Brussels. Everything was more than great! Our room was updated recently. We had two double beds in our room and that was wonderful. Delicious breakfast and an ideal location. Nearby was hop-on-hop-off bus stop.

Centrally located in downtown Brussels, Steigenberger Wiltcher's is in a 19th century classic building that has been fully modernized but has retained its elegance. Our room was large, comfortable and very well equipped. The service in the hotel meet expectations. We enjoyed pre dinner cocktails in the lounge. Breakfast is included as is complimentary wifi.

Our room was a deluxe forward facing balcony. Generously sized and very well appointed. Really appreciated assignment of this room as it was for my parents and they absolutely loved it. My wife travels for usg and always stays at Steigenberger. Loved having the Mary chocolatier in the hotel. You should do that rent free for them as it is a real amenity. The greatest asset of the hotel is its staff who make every effort to help the guest. The only area where the service needs some improvement is the bar where the staff should be a little more attentive to the guests.. Great improvement is the fitness room within the hotel which is available and free to the guests.

Excellent location (both for sightseeing and shopping). The rooms are comfortable and tasteful. Minor glitch inside the shower:not enough space to place your shampoo etc,so you end up putting them on the shower floor. Breakfast is ok, but could have been better, especially for the more health-conscious (more musli / granola / yoghurts etc). I didnt like how i put the Do Not Disturb since before i left, and when i got back my room was already done (even though i didnt want them to).

July 2016 excellent reception, bathroom had a toilet which leaked all the the time,a serious yellow stain in the bowl, proof this is a long term leak! bathtub very slippery. Air condition ,even at the lowest, sends a very cold air directly on the bed. Bar very poorly stocked and no aperitif food. Breakfast in the room stale. Restaurant closed until september, just bar food. Excellent location but not enough for a 5 star.

Steigenberger Wilcher's has an excellent location, large and comfortable rooms, very helpful staff, and the food I have eaten is excellent [but I usually in one of the numerous excellent restaurants near the hotel's central location]. The health club is a wee pit pricey but very very nice. I recommend the hotel.

The porters just stand there and are not helpful. Breakfast service on day 1 was slow. Had to wait over 20 minutes for Baked Beans and Hash Browns. And even longer to be served with tea/coffee. The coffee was not good at all. Day 2 breakfast we were there as soon as the service opened, but everything was cold. otherwise rooms are very comfortable.

This is a 19th century hotel which has been superbly renovated. The rooms are very generous in size, it is very well located, walking distance to the main part of town and close to many restaurants and bars in the streets behind it. Best thing about it is that you can get rooms at very reasonable prices on booking sites etc which make it outstanding value in comparison to other european hotels where for the same price you may end up with a dirty shoe box.

We were gifted the junior suite for our honeymoon by one of the managers who e-mailed us and we were thrilled. Unfortunately upon arrival we got a deluxe room rather than our upgrade. Only after arguing and being told our upgrade wasn't available were we able to get what was promised. We were also nearly charged for the free minibar. However, the breakfast was fantastic

Very pleasant experience at Wiltcher's. We had a Junior Suite which was very well appointed. It was a huge suite by any standards. Extremely comfortable beds. Probably the best in Brussels. Everything in this hotel is beautiful and elegant. The bar is a great call especially in the summer. The rooms are large and the bed is a dream to sleep in. It is a great option for smokers that some rooms have a balcony.

I was sent here by the American Express fine hotel service. I had asked for the Amigo, which i love, and the agent suggested this hotel because of the deal they had. It was about 50 euros less than the Amigo's best rate, and, had an upgrade, free breakfast, and 85 euro credit (a lot of money on a 175 euro a day bill.) I was not disappointed. Excellent room with a very comfortable bed. Very nice bathroom. Very quiet. Impeccable service from very efficient staff. Always a pleasure to stay here. (My only quibble would be that they really should do better than Nescafe instant coffee sachets in the room. The last couple of 5 star hotels we have used had Nespresso machines.)

We got a very spacious Junior Suite nicely decorated with many features including international plugs. Turndown service is discreet and well done. The staff is welcoming at all levels from doorman to reception and housekeeping. We got a few minor problems that got resolved with efficiency and apologies. We got a suite overlooking the square which offers a nice view even at night with the lights on. I would only go back to this hotel for my next trip in Brussels!!!!

We stayed here years ago when it was The Conrad Hilton. The rooms are very similar from years ago, which is my only complaint. The hotel COULD USE a bit of TLC and updating. The rooms seem a little worn. The staff is wonderful and security at the hotel was top notch. The location is fabulous as well. A short walk from all of the major sights and shopping. I think with a little updating, it could be FABULOUS again.

We stayed one night between countries, we were very delighted. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the rooms were very grand and beautiful. The beds were comfortable. We found the rooms warm, the ac was not very effective. Other than that we had a wonderful stay and will 100% stay again!

We stayed in this hotel for two nights and we booked the junior suite. Everything was perfect, the suite is very spacious and well decorated. Huge bathroom with a nice bathtube. Stayed here for one night and enjoyed a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed, in a large room (Superior with a terrace on 1st floor). The hotel has lost a bit of its immaculate appearance of years ago. It does not have the attention to detail which you will find in other 5 star hotels around the world and then the 5 stars become a bit of a 4,5 star instead. We stayed at the hotel for a city break. The hotel is located in a very nice area and only 20 minutes walk from the city centre. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a free upgrade to a junior suite,the room was very comfortable and perfectly cleaned.Also the breakfast was great,really good quality and multiple choices. Excellent hotel!

Nice, clean hotel. Great location, walking distance to all shopping areas and city center is only a 20 minute walk. Bed was very comfortable. Good breakfast. Our special thanks to Richard Kuba at the reception. We checked in August 31st and had requested for two connecting rooms. Though it was not guaranteed and he told us that they were booked and would be available on September 1st meanwhile we could get two adjoining rooms. Very friendly and efficient Check-In, rooms are quite big with huuuge bathroom, service is exceptional and friendly, location is great and parking available with direct access to hotel (24hrs=14,80 â?¬). I was here for a business trip, but the hotel wireless was very poor. It made it very difficult to get any work done, or FaceTime with my family overseas. This would have been a much nicer stay if they fix the wireless.

The hotel is in a wonderful Brussels location, having lived much of my life in the city I know the area well and it really is a perfect location to explore the city. Louise metro is a 5 minute walk and there's even a tram from outside the hotel which will take you directly there. An excellent place to stay in the hub of Brussels whether you are on a business or tourist visit. The hotel is impeccably maintained. Very courteous and polite staff. We booked this hotel for our Brussels city break. First up parking... virtually next to the hotel is a municipal underground car park at around 15 euros for per 24 hours, there's a lift from the lower levels to the courtyard of the hotel. You can pay this at reception when you leave. This large luxury hotel is right in the center of the city and a great location. As soon as you walk in, it feels rich and luxurious and exhumes class. DIego, at the reception desk couldn't be any nicer and accommodating. Somehow the travel agency booked us for a night before we got there and they fixed the problem with no argument or coaxing. Stayed at this hotel for a long weekend in July. Hotel was in a great central location and not very far from all the sights. The staff were very professional, attentive and helpful and spoke a couple of languages. Rooms were very nice/spacious, clean, superbly decorated and very comfortable. Our stay at the wiltcher's was very pleasant. The staff, which was very friendly and obliging, did everything that was possible to make our stay unforgettable. we got a free upgrate to a 'deluxe room', which was a pleasant surprise. The beds are very comfortable and the room was georgeous. The breakfast included everything we could think of. If you look for a superior hotel to stay in bruxelles, then go for the wiltcher's. You won't be disappointed.

The recommendation from the concierge for dinner was perfect, I explained my mood and preferences and found the perfect place for dinner. Stayed for three nights on a business trip. It is a wonderfully situated, imposing building, with a very traditional welcome. Check in was speedy and the room - even though a standard - was spacious and well appointed. Staff throughout were very helpful. Room service was great, the Loui bar was good and the buffet breakfast featured a good selection. Overall, the venue made a routine business trip very enjoyable.

I stayed here for a weekend and loved it. The room was spacious with a balcony, a large bathroom with a beautiful tub and rain shower head. It is in a upscale neighborhood but not too far a walk to the Grand Place and Grote Market.

I booked my room on booking.com over 2 moinths in advance. The group I work for also booked me a room. When I sought to cancel I lost all my advance complete payment which was ver disappointing. The water tap in the bathroom did not work properly. Water was going in all directions. I used a towel to "repair" it temporary. During my check out I mentioned it (and showed the agent a picture that I made if the situation), but nothing was offered to me to "make it up". This is not what you expect from Steigenberger Hoel and in general from a five start hotel.

Rooms and bathrooms are very spacious and the decoration is simple. House keeping needs to be more thorough when cleaning. The minibar was dirty and they didn't leave water beside the bed at turndown service. The employees are very nice and keep a smile at all times! Food is mediocre (breakfast and dinner room service). If you get a room on the 1st floor you are on the terrace which is cute, but the doors need maintenance!

The lobby is grandiose and the staff at the front desk very professional. To get to your room, you have to walk through endless and smelly corridors. Your room is large, comfortable but dark. The internet provided by the hotel is way too slow and totally not adequate for the class of hotel it pretends to. I have been there at least five times and the remarks I am making here are applicable to all the times i have been there.

I love this hotel. The staff are polite and helpful the area is bus sling as its a main road and not that far from the train station. My room is spacious and warm and the wifi is not a problem although my iPad wouldn't download emails however my phone did so perhaps not such a strong connection. I felt safe too. The price is average for a central location and if you like shopping there is plenty within walking distance. Breakfast would be priced though at £25.00 per person or there a outs.

Stayed here for two nights whilst visiting the Christmas market in Brussels. Hotel is in a lovely part of the city - designer shops everywhere - and about 25 minutes walk from the main tourist areas. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous and the staff really friendly and helpful. We stayed in a standard room and it was wonderful - massive bathroom with huge bath and shower and the room had everything you could need. Not a bad word to say about it.

I booked a room for 5 nights. I noticed that we will arrive around 10 in the morning. We arrived at 10:30. The checkin was quick and efficient. The lady from the reception informed us that the room will be ready in 20 minutes and this was a very nice surprise. Every aspect of the stay was admirable - location, room, cleanliness, breakfast, personnel - except for the poor internet at the conference rooms which interfered greatly with our work. I'd recommend fixing this.
