The staff at Sofitel looked after us amazingly well during overnight stay. I'd strongly recommend the hotel to others. The facilities are brilliant and the room was simply perfect. A little bit of a walk into town but well worth it for the hotel.

Enjoyed staying at this hotel for a week's business in Brussels. Great helpful staff. Room excellent and very clean. Nice natural light for working in room and could even open window for a bit of fresh air- although air con is good. Hotel wifi a bit slow and can be a pain to connect - but probably the norm for Belgium. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had in Europe and again great service. Restaurant for dinner was a bit disappointing and the burger from room service was very poor. But ... Read more

Great place to go if you're on business. Everything works smoothly and efficiently to a high standard. Good variety for breakfast. If you're an Accor gold card member expect an upgrade and lots of nice little extras.

This hotel was very nice for a reasonable price. The personnel were helpful and bilingual. The room included a wonderful breakfast every morning in the restaurant. The staff there was wonderful and very attentive. The food was delicious and very fresh. Everything from fruit, meat, waffles, and pastries! The rooms were clean and very nice. The area around the hotel was a small area of restaurants, a bank, some shopping and a park. You can walk to all of the market square area of Brussels... Read more

Particularly due to the convenient parking, if like me you arrive by car, this hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Schumann district. My checkin and checkout was brisk, and the hotel were clearly prepared for arrivals. The room was on the corner which was cool for its view. I had ample room to work, relax and rest, with a good sized bathroom. This will become my first choice in Brussels when not needing to stay in the airport overnight.

I spent a few days in the Sofitel Brussels last week and it was excellent. Sometimes I think I am too critical of venues but Sofitel reminded me of the standard we should expect everywhere. The hotel is in a very good central location, and only 20 minutes from the airport, ‚?¨35 by taxi. On arrival the reception staff were helpful and attentive. The bedroom was well decorated, comfortable, well lit, no unwanted noise from the air-con, tea and coffee facilities, and most of all the bed was good.... We came here for two nights to visit the Brussels Christmas Market. We flew in to Brussels and taxi took about 25 mins from airport to taxi. Cost about 45 euros. We went when Brussels was on a high alert from the Paris attacks. The hotel we stayed at had 24 hour military surveillance which was frightening but also reassuring. My initial thoughts of the hotel was that is smelt INCREDIBLE. There were candles lit everywhere, I have never stayed at a city hotel that looked and smelt so beautiful at ... Read more

This hotel is certainly one to stay in. It's not a low budget place, but if you're looking for a gorgeous hotel, that doesn't cost the absolute world, this really is the place to stay. The decor is fantastic, artwork but also the room design. Couldn't be better. Bed was crazy comfortable. TV has UK channels, but proper ones not just world service - BBC 1 and 2, ITV, ITV2, channel 4, all the usual news channels, and even cbeebies for the family travellers! We walked all the way to the main squa... Read more

Another great stay at one of the Sofitel portfolio, love the style of the rooms and the comfortable beds! Location was great for all areas of Brussels, especial the EU buildings. Was treated to a room upgrade as an Accor Platinum card holder as was my colleague who i'd booked a rooms for too which was a nice touch.

Arrived after a delayed flight at 2am. Porter greeted us with a smile and checked in. Room wasn't what I booked but staff happily showed me two more rooms of which second was perfect and as described on my booking. Rooms were clean and hotel was perfect retreat. Would recommend for those wanting to get away. The only downside I can give it is it's not in city centre but metro is 5-10min walk and you're straight in after a couple of stops!!

Good location with cafes and restaurants right at the doorstep of the hotel. Nice room and really nice beds, linen and pillowes. Use the AC in the room to cool bottles/drinks. The cooler is worthless. It only makes the bottles warmer. Friendly and helpful staff. We didn't use the gym/spa but it looked great.

I have been staying recently in some of the so called top hotels in Paris and London which I found full of annoying aspects: room not ready, asked to pay 150 euro for 1 hour extension, breakfast choice poor, facilities to meet and work with colleagues poor, and getting a coffee takes ages‚?¶At a time when travelling I getting a ‚??horrible‚?? experience it‚??s such a pity that hotel staff appear to be more concern with doing an efficient job rather than looking after thei... Beatiful hotel in the middle of Brussels EU area, perfect for rest after a long day of meetings.. Location could not be better. 5 min walk to metro and bus to/from airport. Nice park, grosery shop and different places to eat are right next to it. I got a superior room which was super clean and quiet, had a huge bed with high quality bed sheets, tea making, ironing facilities and a few luxuries like a small box of chocolate, hermes toiletries and turndown service. We visited while Octoberfest was happening in the park across the street, at checkin i was informed that our room had already been upgraded and that we should have no problems with the noise! our room was very spacious and comfortable. We loved the modern look of the bathroom and the Hermes toiletries. The Concierge was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely like to stay there again!

I stayed at this excellent hotel over a week-end when it seemed to be quiet. It is very convenient for visiting the European Commission and Parliament buildings and a not too long walk to the centre and old town, which I was able to make every day. The hotel room was bright and comfortable with all the amenities you could require, the breakfast buffet included plenty of fresh fruit as well as many other choices. The bar and restaurant were pleasant and the food excellent.

Stayed in room 612 with view out the back, quiet and plenty of daylight, away from the noisy (but convenient) square. Rooms are spacious for European standards and very well appointed with Nespresso coffee maker, and modern decor. Plenty of restaurants around and a short walk to metro. European Parliament 10-15 mins on foot. Restaurants in hotel is just ok for the high price, though service was very good. It's convenient to have a restaurant in the hotel but many more options are just around the... Read more

Another excellent Sofitel hotel with great staff, facilities and breakfast. Breakfast service is wonderful (waiters always have a big smile and asks if you want coffee or tee, sometimes eggs and bring bread and buns on the table + sophisticated buffet). The location is very convenient for EU travelers and the hotel is luxurious. The Ixelles Sofitel Brussels Le Louise is super luxurious and would pick that one for a holiday. Although the location is ideal for business and next to the European Commission but also a fantastic relaxing hotel where you can have access on an amazing parc "Léopold" where family and kids could enjoy it with a fantastic relaxation atmosphere on the lake. The hotel has beautiful comfortable luxurious rooms. Very rich breakfast, nice warm atmosphere with a beautiful family room. Service is perfect, so helpful staff and a perfect assistant concierge. Fair prices.

Fantastic staff and a nice location in the EU quarter about 15-20 minutes walk to the centre. A special thank you to Guinez at check in. The buffet breakfast was great. The room was clean and spacious. The only downside was that the hotel did not have a pool but as it was only a weekend trip this was not really an issue. Would definitely go back and the city is so easy to get around.

This hotel is perfect for my conference at the Commission's building next door and just a few minutes' walk from the main Commission's and Council's buildings at Schumann. It is like coming home as you know exactly what to expect from a Sofitel, so it is quite relaxed here too and there are some good restaurants nearby. It was rainy the days when I stayed at the hotel and the reception staff was very helpful with umbrellas! I would consider staying here even for a private trip.

Very good hotel, no real negative points. Nice, clean rooms and quiet. Very good breakfast, special thanks to Sophia who made us comfortable. Comfy library, next to reception. Nice enough gym with hamman. Located about 5mn walk to Shuman metro, then 4 stops to historical centre. Minor negative point is the thermostatic regulator in the shower which oscillates between hot and cold more than normal.

A nice hotel situated on a bustling square full of shops and restaurants. At weekends the square becomes a market with food stalls and all types of things to browse and eat. Not far from bus stops or Schuman metro station. Underground car park also available.

Highly recommended during summer months when European bureaucrats are on holiday, the hotel is quiet and prices are low. Spacious, very comfortable rooms. Amazing bed, fast Wifi even for the free version. Breakfast has good selection but quite expensive. Would recommend finding somewhere else if not included in your room rate. The square in front of the hotel is home to a wide variety in restaurants which is convenient since it's a bit further from the city centre.

This is a nearly flawless hotel experience that will suit most travelers, both leisure & business alike. The rooms are spacious with a study desk for laptop and documents, grand bathroom/ensure, lounge chair and large windows with plenty of light. The road can be a bit busy so pick 4th floor or above & there should be no problems.
