The staff at Sofitel looked after us amazingly well during overnight stay. I'd strongly recommend the hotel to others. The facilities are brilliant and the room was simply perfect. A little bit of a walk into town but well worth it for the hotel.

Enjoyed staying at this hotel for a week's business in Brussels. Great helpful staff. Room excellent and very clean. Nice natural light for working in room and could even open window for a bit of fresh air- although air con is good. Hotel wifi a bit slow and can be a pain to connect - but probably the norm for Belgium. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I've had in Europe and again great service. Restaurant for dinner was a bit disappointing and the burger from room service was very poor. But ... Read more

This hotel was very nice for a reasonable price. The personnel were helpful and bilingual. The room included a wonderful breakfast every morning in the restaurant. The staff there was wonderful and very attentive. The food was delicious and very fresh. Everything from fruit, meat, waffles, and pastries! The rooms were clean and very nice. Particularly due to the convenient parking, if like me you arrive by car, this hotel is a 10 minute walk from the Schumann district. My checkin and checkout was brisk, and the hotel were clearly prepared for arrivals. The room was on the corner which was cool for its view. I had ample room to work, relax and rest, with a good sized bathroom. This will become my first choice in Brussels when not needing to stay in the airport overnight.

I spent a few days in the Sofitel Brussels last week and it was excellent. Sometimes I think I am too critical of venues but Sofitel reminded me of the standard we should expect everywhere. The hotel is in a very good central location, and only 20 minutes from the airport, ‚?¨35 by taxi. On arrival the reception staff were helpful and attentive. The bedroom was well decorated, comfortable, well lit, no unwanted noise from the air-con, tea and coffee facilities, and most of all the bed was good.... We came here for two nights to visit the Brussels Christmas Market. We flew in to Brussels and taxi took about 25 mins from airport to taxi. Cost about 45 euros. We went when Brussels was on a high alert from the Paris attacks. The hotel we stayed at had 24 hour military surveillance which was frightening but also reassuring. My initial thoughts of the hotel was that is smelt INCREDIBLE. There were candles lit everywhere, I have never stayed at a city hotel that looked and smelt so beautiful at ... Read more

The decor is fantastic, artwork but also the room design. Couldn't be better. Bed was crazy comfortable. Arrived after a delayed flight at 2am. Porter greeted us with a smile and checked in. Room wasn't what I booked but staff happily showed me two more rooms of which second was perfect and as described on my booking. Rooms were clean and hotel was perfect retreat. Would recommend for those wanting to get away. The only downside I can give it is it's not in city centre but metro is 5-10min walk and you're straight in after a couple of stops!!

Good location with cafes and restaurants right at the doorstep of the hotel. Nice room and really nice beds, linen and pillowes. Use the AC in the room to cool bottles/drinks. I stayed at this excellent hotel over a week-end when it seemed to be quiet. It is very convenient for visiting the European Commission and Parliament buildings and a not too long walk to the centre and old town, which I was able to make every day. The hotel room was bright and comfortable with all the amenities you could require, the breakfast buffet included plenty of fresh fruit as well as many other choices. This hotel is perfect for my conference at the Commission's building next door and just a few minutes' walk from the main Commission's and Council's buildings at Schumann. It is like coming home as you know exactly what to expect from a Sofitel, so it is quite relaxed here too and there are some good restaurants nearby. It was rainy the days when I stayed at the hotel and the reception staff was very helpful with umbrellas! I would consider staying here even for a private trip.

Nice enough gym with hamman. Located about 5mn walk to Shuman metro, then 4 stops to historical centre. Minor negative point is the thermostatic regulator in the shower which oscillates between hot and cold more than normal.

It ranged from Europe 180 to Eur 300. The rooms are spacious and clean with a great work station which I needed for my work. The be... Read more
