Are you looking to get away from the busy tourist circuit? Do you want to get back from long business meetings to a welcoming environment? Do you need to work with lots of space and wind up at the Gym or the pool after a long day or early morning? or do you want to hit the shops or grab a bite out of the hotel? or do you want to grab a great meal indoors? Either way you will not be disappointed. The hotel has close access to the Metro Rogier and if this is what you aspire, then Sheraton Hotel Pl... Read more

Entering the hotel it looked ok but going to the room I began to see tired dated rugs and furnishings. 208 was my room; facing out front was nice but they are doing a big metro subway project right out front so for now the view is construction. The room wasn't cleaned. The bed and linens were nice; the bathroom has all amenities plus a make up mirror which I appreciated. Lighting in the room and bath is poor. I asked the maid for a non slip bath mat and she went out of her way to get it for... Read more

Great location, but what made the stay extra special was the concierge service. Everyone of the guys at the desk were most helpful. They went out of their way to make sure we knew where we were going, made excellent restaurant recommendations and were just down home friendly.

I had a very enjoyable stay in this hotel recently, made so most importantly by the exceptionally courteous and well-trained staff. The location is within easy walking distance of the lovely botanical gardens of the city, and also a reasonable walking distance to most of the great landmarks of central Brussels, besides lots of shopping (and the Station-Noord). Of course this hotel has all the standard amenities that one would expect from a Sheraton, and for me, that means that they do have the... Read more

Clearly the hotel hasn't had an upgrade in a very long time. The windows looking out on the Place were grimy. The bathroom was awful--water taps which wouldn't turn all the way off without threat of injury, shower temperature which varied only between scalding and freezing and nothing in between, toilet paper holder falling out. For a Starwood Preferred Room on a Starwood Floor, this was really inexcusable. And at the front desk when checking out, I received an apology but nothing more. I will m... Read more

Stayed here for a long weekend. Staff were always willing to help, polite and spoke excellent English. The front desk answered all questions and queries from the moment of check-in to check-out with genuine warmth. Good location, about 15-20 minutes walk from the Grand Place and near bus, metro and tram stops. Wifi is available in all lounge areas and if you're a "Starwood Preferred Member" (free membership) then you can also get free wifi in the bedroom. The club bedroom was clean, large, comfo... Amazingly average hotel staffed by amazingly below average staff. The hotel is a typical Government city hotel with high prices, low quality and poor staff training and management. I suggest that Starwood should review the hotel for service and quality and I suspect they may need to review the management agreement. The hotel rooms require a good makeover and I suspect it has been many, many years since anything has been done to update this hotel. The staff, perhaps it could just be Brussels ... Read more

The hotel was very lovely and the room is very comfortable. Nice and clean. The bed was in pristine condition. The staff was very helpful and organized and breakfast was fabulous with a lot of variety. The area seems to be fairly good but as a lady, I definitely wouldn't suggest walking around the area by yourself at night. All in all, great hotel.

Our family of four spent one night here before our flight home. We could have stayed much closer to the airport, but we wanted to see the Grand Place and experience a little bit of the city while we could. The hotel is easy to find and is right across the street from a large shopping center. It is also an easy 10-15 minute walk from hotel to the Grand Place. I was a bit taken back as to how tired looking this hotel is. Let me start with the positives, the hotel location is excellent, their rooms are large and the bed very comfortable with lovely chairs to sit in and read. What I did not like about the room (club room) was a very dated bathroom, with a shower in the bath, and the weirdest feature of the coffee station being in the bathroom. The hotel has not kept up with the times, no laptop or USB, charging points on the desk and wi-fi needs to be p... Read more

Let's start with the good. The breakfast is really good. They have a machine which automatically squeezes oranges into fresh squeezed orange juice. It's fantastic. You can also get coffee in larger cups than the typical European thimble. Also, the rooms are big and it's a short walk to the grand place. On the negative side, my room was warm and the shower was almost uncontrollable in volume and temperature. Finally, the lobby is a bit dark and outdated. But overall it's a decent place to... A typical Sheraton, which is nice after the small rooms so frequent in Europe. The staff was friendly and caring, with great service all around. The only good thing about this hotel is its great location, otherwise, run! Air Conditioning sucks and some rooms have no window that opens. Wifi is charged per day! Who does that anymore? Even 2 - 3 star hotels offer it for free! Breakfast deal at 20 euros per person, not worth it, sorry. Beds are hard, super uncomfortable. The hotel is worn out, it needs updating. Our only option was to eat in the Bar, although the food was very good and well presented we were not as happy as eating in a restaurant. The room was spacious and a good view of the front street. Bus stop, shopping and tram stop just across the road. Train station to the airport also was near. Breakfast charge wasn't properly explained as we ended up paying ‚?¨20/person/night which was outrageous. If we knew that, we would've went for something else as there were a variety of fast-food around the hotel. When we did complain on checkout, the receptionist already went off for holidays. Located in the centre of Brussels between Gare du Nord and Rue Neuve, the hotel is now very dated and needs a major refurbishment as it is not worthy of the Sheraton chain. Breakfast needs a major improvement: hot food I had (potatoes and bacon) was cold, bread not fresh, cups are huge so your expresso gets cold really quickly. No omelette/ fried eggs corner. We travelled to Brussels in August 2015 and stayed at the Sheraton, lovely and lively location very central and easy to access but on August 8th 2015 late in the evening at the reception area I was sitting there to use the computer and alas I spotted a short gun left on one of the computer area in kids section I was so shocked, looked around for the securities couldn't find any the reception desk was busy as usual with people queuing up... Visited in summer of 2015. Nice location . close to train and main attractions. Very busy lobby. great customer service. Strange location for the pool. It was on the top floor but a bit dated. Grocery store, shopping and restaurants at walking distance. Nice view of the city from the room.

Never again in this hotel! Terrible experience. Unfriendly and unclean!! The room constantly smelled with no windows! Barely any room service available and the staff do not meet your needs as expected from such a huge chain

Stayed in many Starwood properties and generally prefer Westins as a bit more modern. Location is good and handy for metro. Rooms fine, beds very comfortable. Breakfast just a bit poor. Coffee decent but range of breads and pastries not great.

Relatively good location in the northern quarter of Brussels and directly above the Rogier subay station. So convenient for tourists and business travellers to take in the sights of Brussels via walking. Hotel is old and tired. Even the surrounding hotels like Hilton and Crowne Plaza appear to be more vogue and lively

I will ignore the fact that my SPG Platinum status got me an ‚??upgrade‚?? to a room that was so old fashioned that it missed the renovations that the other club rooms have had in this hotel - room 2410 avoid it. I have stayed here around 10 times before - even before i was an SPG member - and this was by far the worst. The real problem with this stay was on my second night, where a group of around 15-20 people were allowed to hire rooms to make a film of some sorts. The people were disruptive... Read more

I agree that it could use a refurbishing, but I still like the big rooms and the excellent buffet breakfast, with its fresh squeezed oranges, fresh bread and pastries, fresh vegetables and smoked salmon. The gym is adequate. so are the swimming pool and the sauna. I would gladly come back again.

Obvious plusses of this hotel is location, spacious rooms, good beds and the rooftop gym/sauna/swimming pool. The hotel as a whole looks dated, from rooms to bar, but everything works fine. I didnt like the water heater and coffee supply next to the toilet, it refrained me from using it. Friendly service at the counter and in the bar. Breakfast is nice but not special. For a few nights as a business traveller a good option.

Let's start with the not so great stuff. The entire hotel breathes a "used to be better" atmosphere. Lobby, general areas, rooms: the last refurbishment is certainly overdue. Stepping into the room brings you back to the late 90's. Fair enough, everything in the room is working, no faulty faucets or electronics, but unfortunately the bathroom and furniture does show that thousands of people have used it before you. The first generation LCD flat screen kind off sums it up nicely: it's there, it's... Read more

Sheraton - the name tells it all. I stayed here for 7 nights and the stay was superb. Got a room with two double beds, room was super large facilitated with all 5 star stuffs - of course SPG. You get an iron board, kettle to make tea/ coffee and everything you need. Restaurants serve great food. Location of the hotel is great. 5 minutes walk from Nord station, 2 minutes into underground metro - Rogier.

We stayed here for one night when passing through Brussels on the way to Bruges. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. It's a short walk to a ton of shopping and the Grand Place is less than a mile away. I would stay here again!

There is nothing really wrong with the Sheraton Brussels, but a lot that could be just a bit better. General decor is pretty tired looking, the bar is uninviting, breakfast uninspiring. Location is good (although there is plenty of choice close by) and my room was a good size. However, the room was also dated and worn, but it was comfortable. The number 1 problem was that the room was too hot and no obvious way to adjust the temperature - yes, I should have called reception and asked, but I was ... Read more

Don't choose this hotel. I managed three hours sleep due to poor sound insulation from the room next door - tv playing loudly till 03.30, when security intervened (thank you security). Plumbing noisy. I stayed here as a last resort when Eurostar fell over. Top tip - if you want a decent hotel - stay at a hotel called 'The Hotel' - I use it all the time and it is wonderful. sadly it was full on the night in question. I understand that the owners of the Sheraton are considering a refurb' soon. Sou... Read more

I've stayed in this hotel a few times now and the main reason why I keep coming back is the swimming pool on the 30th floor. At 12m it is very small, but along with the sauna it provides a nice place to unwind before or after meetings. The rooms are extremely spacious and are fairly modern, with comfortable beds and high quality bed linen! Unfortunately the Sheraton only offers free wifi in the lobby, but not in the rooms. This seems a bit strange in 2016.

The locality of the auberge is convenient and the guest rooms are copious in dimension as well as being hygienic. Nonetheless the hotel is in drastic need of refurbishment. Bedchambers and bathrooms are looking more than a little worn, could be restored to it's former splendour!

We stayed for 2 nights. Initial impressions were very positive - friendly and welcoming staff, lovely reception and bar area, and in a convenient location close to both a Metro and Brussels North train station. The rooms don't live up to the promise and are in need of modernising... we had a Club room on the 23rd floor, which was large and had an excellent view. The bathroom was well maintained and clean. We were trying to work out the year of the furniture in the bedroom and guess it is late ... Read more

This is a solid but dated hotel in a prime location in Brussels. At rates of less than 100 dollars this was an excellent value for money. All staff I dealt with were superb, especially the front desk staff at checkin and checkout (Merce and Johanna). I think that due to the current financial difficulties faced by the hotel, they have probably reduced staffing, which was noticeable in the absence of the concierge whenever we needed his help, and the slow removal of breakfast plates from tables... Staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean and spacious. Location is convenient, 5 minutes walk from Brussels-Nord train station. There is a small, but decent gym with a small swimming pool. The hotel is in need of serious maintenance/ upgrade. Everything does work, but has a worn-out feel, and the carpeting in the whole hotel looks very well used. There is an unpleasant smell in the corridors. The food (I tried the restaurant for dinner and breakfast) is not great and very expensive: ‚?¨1... Read more

I've reviewed the Sheraton Brussels before, but was assigned a Club Room this time, rather than a normal room. Much, much better experience. Upkeep of the room is better, you're on a higher floor, with great views, and the rooms are very large, especially for Europe. Breakfast room still gets very crowded from around 7.30-ish, so go early, go late, skip it. Club lounge is very average, with comfie seating and tables, but very limited food and bev. I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights for a conference, and mostly it was a good experience. Let's get the bad stuff out of the way first. The bathroom looked old and tired and that it hadn't been renovated for far longer than is reasonable. See the attached photo of the paintwork. That said, at least it was clean and everything worked. The other bad thing was that there were really not very many electric sockets in the room, and none anywhere near the bedside tables. If you travel with many ele... Read more

I have stayed in the hotel some years ago and already at this time it was in need of renovation. Meanwhile, it is completely outdated but still requires prices that can compete with new hotels in town. Once upon a time this was a swanky Sheraton in a top Brussels location, handy for just about everything. It still has the advantage of location but it desperately needs renovating and updating. We all expect electric sockets at the desk and by the bedside. My room had neither. We all expect decent free wifi. It has a wifi whisper that is free, a standard paid for version that frankly isn't much better and a very expensive speedy variety. It was built in an era when women were wives not indep... Read more
