Having to stay for a night near Brussels airport and bearing in mind positive experience from my last stay, I decided to choose Mercure Airport Hotel again. My short stay there was fine and I was very happy to learn that theyâ??re still keeping high service standard. Again I got a comfortable, clean room, the staff was helpful and basically everything worked as just as it should.

Decent hotel for a short stay. Efficient check-in/check-out. Small gym (in the basement) was clean, but left something to be desired (only four machines). Only open 6:00-23:00. Breakfast was fine. Internet worked well.

I will not be staying there again. They gave me a smoking room, which I did not want. No hand cream in the bath, instant coffee in the room to be served in paper cups, very poor shower, â?¬20 extra for a poor breakfast buffet. All that for â?¬199 not including breakfast. Give me a break. To be fair, they do offer free wifi.

Had work nearby so the location was very convenient. The front desk check in was smooth (I booked through Booking.com, but my travel mate got a cheaper rate directly from the hotel). The front desk clerk was super helpful with maps and bus schedules and directions to get downtown etc. The room, however, reeked of cigarette smoke (so an open window, despite cool temperatures was necessary). The bathroom had silverfish bugs scurrying around the floor, so that was a daily routine of capturing them ... Read more

Quite a good hotel for short stay in Brussels near NATO headquarter. Pros. + kind and polite personal. + good breakfast, including fresh juice and very good coffee. + spacious rooms + hotel offers free shuttle bus service to the airport in the mornings and evenings Cons. - maybe little bit overpriced; - shower (big one at the ceiling) did not work (room 311)

Location wise this is a hotel you would stay in to be either close to the airport or for a conference inside the hotel. It is not near the centre at all and costs 30 euros by taxi to get closer to the main city. The room was clean a bit old fashioned. I was mostly disappointed with the gym which consisted of a few outdated cardio machines with no room to do any other exercise

Stayed at the hotel overnight and found that it was a very good hotel. It was very nice and clean and provided a good evening meal. The rooms were very well equipped and comfortable. The beds were good too. An excellent breakfast was provided. A good overnight stay. The staff were well turned out and helpful English was spoken so we didn't have a problem.

Stayed at this hotel as part of an organised trip. Restaurant was closed apart from breakfast, in spite of a group of over 80 of us staying there. Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was also very comfortable. The shower was very poor, with a trickle from both overhead shower-head and hose, but neither working well separately. There did not appear to be a shuttle bus to the airport and there was nowhere nearby to eat, which affected my overall rating but otherwise all OK. It is near NATO and ... Read more

We held a weekend meeting in this hotel. We were a group of 8, one in a wheelchair. Everything was just as it should be, and the staff as very helpful and friendly. The one really negative, and in my opinion, stupid, point, is there is only one coffee machine available for the breakfast. While we were there, they also had four tour groups, about 100 people, all trying to get a cup of coffee for breakfast. The line was always about 8 people waiting just for coffee, which was such a waste of ti... Read more

We were on a trip with Ledger and this was the hotel they use. I would no go there again for more than one night The restaurant was closed at the Weekend so we had to eat out and there is not much choice anywhere near. The breakfast staff did not fill up the food and there was little left when we ate at around 8am. The room we had was behind the lift shaft (room 206) so had a noisey night and morning when people used the lifts.

I stayed 3 times at this hotel - mainly for business purposes when having meetings at the close by companies and institutions. The hotel is very clean, efficiently organised and breakfast is according hotel standard.

Writing this review from one of the rooms in the hotel now. + Good clean place for family or business trips. + Decent Breakfast, nothing great, but since it was included in my price, thought it was ok. + Not bad for a hotel near Airport with pre-set timings on airport drops / pickups. - The rooms had a pre-set thermostat, whatever temperature you set, it will not change. Had complained couple of times and they could not do anything about it. They gave me an option to change to an alternate r... Read more

My wife and I went as part of a package with Ledger travel. The Hotel is modern and clean and tidy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room although just a standard double had what we needed. It even had a writing table. What was supposed to be the wardrobe and cupboard space for clothes was small. The bathroom was good, new looking and had a lovely shower. Sat. nav TV made it very good although I found it rather warm and slept with the window open. The sound of planes sent me to sleep I t... Read more

Arrived here for a one night stay and the reception dealt quickly and efficiently in a friendly manner with room allocation. The restaurant I can only describe as badly managed with staff levels, two people, unable to cope with 10 tables. On arrival being greeted with "you can sit where you want" hardly inspires hope. After a long wait someone realised we had not been given a menu to look at which they duly gave us. We ordered drinks which did not arrive. On chasing these we were brought drink... Read more

Stopped at this hotel enroute to Calais after a holiday in Austria. We found the bar service terrible took ages to get served and when we did we were charged 22 Euros for 2 large beers, 1 small beer and a small glass of wine. When we went for another round of drinks we were charged 20 Euros for 2 small beers and 2 soft drinks. When we complained to another member of staff we were refund most of the money we had paid. Everyone in our party had waited an age to be served. Very bad service.

The hotel is lovely )decor, cleanness) and the location is quite good if you are there for business. I absolutely loved the staff they were very helpful and kind - it was raining outside and I did not have an umbrella, after asking the receptionists could they help me, they gave me an umbrella with a smile. It is always nice to meet such pleasant people. Also, the room was beautiful and clean, plus the size of the room is very good. The only thing that could be better is the breakfast buffet, b... The hotel is apt with very good ambience and decor, however parking is always an issue as one needs to find parking in the opposite street. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurant as s limited menu. Breakfast was ok.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights. To be honest it was chosen because of the possition near thr office. I was very sadisfied with the room and service. The bed was confortable and I had no particular issues with airconditioning. The shower was a bit broken and it's guite funny that the tap is outside the shower so you need to step outside if you want to turn it on and off. The only issue I had was an absence of an elektric plug near the mirror. As a woman I need to make my hair and it's diff... Read more
