This hotel is an an extremely convenient location, about a 10 minute walk from the center square in Brussels and literally right outside of the south train station (Brussels Midi). The staff are very friendly and answered all of my questions with no issues. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was a nice size. The only thing that the room was missing was coffee making facility, however this is not a big issue. There is free wifi which was very fast at all times of day. Overall despit... Read more

I do not recommend this hotel. It is convenient if you need to stay just one night and you want close distance to train or shuttle bus. But the location does not look safe - strange people in the hotel entrance day and night also many homeless people live in and around the station - when you walk you see them and you are also faced with very bad smell. Also check-in is only after 3 pm, which is announced in the reservation, so no complain about it, however usually you can check in earlier if the... Read more

The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, and my entire stay was quite trouble-free. The rooms are basic, but large and comfortable. The bed wasn't too soft, which means you can get a good night's sleep. Bathrooms are clean. My only complaint about the rooms is the odd wardrobe/storage rack - it doesn't have a lot of usable space. I didn't use the restaurant facilities except for a snack, but it does offer decent options in both food and drink. The hotel location is great - right across the railw... Read more

I stayed at this hotel in September, 2016 for 2 nights, Although not located where all the attractions are the square where the Grand Place is , the Gare Midi train station is directly opposite the hotel and just one stop away from Grand Place, the rooms are huge we had 3 beds in our room, service was good and overall the hotel gets a thumbs up from me would definitely recommend this hotel. we had a lovely stay at this property.

Better the the aveage Ibis hotel. Great location for public transport, just by MIDI train station. The area might seem a little "rough", but calm, clean and orderly inside then hotel. I would stay here again.

I am not going to downplay this hotel too much, it was clean and room was large although decor was a little unusual. The shower as per all the 10 ibis i have stayed in this year was lacking but functional. The bathroom was huge but a little lacking and tiles were cracked. The staff were great and helpful and ideal location from the Eurostar. I would recommend this hotel if you want a budget and great location close to the station but not if u want any kind of luxury. Was disappointing to ha... Read more

The hotel was clean and the maids were amazing a pity that the hotel was let down by the bar and their staff. The staff stood around and chatted among themselves. I find it so hard to believe that the bar had no vodka or bacardi and made no effort to get some in over the weekend. They tried to o awn us off with martini and thought we would not notice. Lots if people in bar but all left quickly due to service and very little drinks available. If I go back again I will bring my own drinks.

Our stay at this hotel was OK. Welcome and check-in was standard and efficient. The room was clean, quiet and spacious, even with one double and one single bed installed. Beds were very comfortable. Don't expect extra's however: no minibar, no coffee or tea, even no information on room service. Breakfast was very good. A very wide choice in the buffet. We could even bake our own waffles. The notes in the hallway warned for the fact that breakfast seating may be limited at specific rush-hours. We... Read more

This is your typical Ibis hotel and the layout is as any other, so I won't go into any detail in relation to that. The hotel is about a two minute walk from the Midi train and bus station, so it is more suited to people on business than on holiday/vacation. The hotel is a good 10-15 minute walk to the main square in the centre with a few busy roads to cross. It's not somewhere that I would stop again for holiday as I would like to stop closer to the centre. However, for the price I paid, I ca... Read more
