The hotel has improved its service in the last year, staff were helpful and thoughtful, breakfast was much better than before with much more choice than previously. The decor still looks a bit dated but I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is right next to Midi station and very convenient.

I booked this a few hours before. It's right next to Brussels Midi station. There's a small bar area with big screens and table football. The room was clean and like any other Ibis room. I left too early for breakfast but did grab a free croissant on the way out.

Location is superb; just opposite main station. Room is very big & decent except it is too sparse. No cups nor water boiler so its just purely a sleeping room. The only consolation is the bed is comfortable.

We arrived a few hours earlier than the check in time, and we had to pay 4 euros in order to leave our baggage in the hotel. I had never before paid in any hotel in the world for this service. 4 Euros to leave our baggage in a locker for a few hours... ridiculous, never again. Other than that, they charged us for some "city taxes", and they didn┬┤t give me the receipt for this payment. When I asked, they printed a non official paper, not related at all to any city tax description...

I have stayed in Brussels many times over the past 15 years, and though there are better more expensive hotels this one never lets you down! Staff are always attentive, the lady who is on reception currently is very friendly and helpful as is the girl in the bar. She always gives me a room at the back of the hotel, without asking, overlooking the courtyard rather hen the roads as they are so much quieter. Rooms are simple but warm, comfy and with a good shower...I need little else. Though I don'... Read more

This hotel is an an extremely convenient location, about a 10 minute walk from the center square in Brussels and literally right outside of the south train station (Brussels Midi). The staff are very friendly and answered all of my questions with no issues. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was a nice size. The only thing that the room was missing was coffee making facility, however this is not a big issue. There is free wifi which was very fast at all times of day. Overall despit... Read more

I do not recommend this hotel. It is convenient if you need to stay just one night and you want close distance to train or shuttle bus. But the location does not look safe - strange people in the hotel entrance day and night also many homeless people live in and around the station - when you walk you see them and you are also faced with very bad smell. Also check-in is only after 3 pm, which is announced in the reservation, so no complain about it, however usually you can check in earlier if the... Read more

The hotel staff is friendly and helpful, and my entire stay was quite trouble-free. The rooms are basic, but large and comfortable. The bed wasn't too soft, which means you can get a good night's sleep. Bathrooms are clean. My only complaint about the rooms is the odd wardrobe/storage rack - it doesn't have a lot of usable space. I didn't use the restaurant facilities except for a snack, but it does offer decent options in both food and drink. The hotel location is great - right across the railw... Read more

I stayed at this hotel in September, 2016 for 2 nights, Although not located where all the attractions are the square where the Grand Place is , the Gare Midi train station is directly opposite the hotel and just one stop away from Grand Place, the rooms are huge we had 3 beds in our room, service was good and overall the hotel gets a thumbs up from me would definitely recommend this hotel. we had a lovely stay at this property.
