We stayed here for one night as part of our Cosmos tour. Given two twin singles after complaining about the smell in the first room which had smoke smell in it. The aircon didn't work and the room was freezing . Beds uncomfortable really bad regardless if we were part of a tour. Breakfast was all cold and had no selection whatsoever. Very average hotel

We travelled from London via the Eurostar and got to Brussels late at night so wanted something close to the station. This hotel is great in this respect, outside the station and on the left. Easy to get to and safe. Security was very present, even late at night. Hotel itself was clean and check-in was easy. Our room was decent, quite large. We were on the top floor. Little noise from outside, nothing bothersome. The same shower bubble type thing as I have found in Ibis before. Shower was an ok... Read more

A clean comfortable hotel located right at Midi station so good transport to Centre and to airport. We're told by a local doctor that not a good idea to walk around alone in the area. Still including taxi to Centre and back still cheap yet pleasant to stay. Dining room bar qhite good too. Check in and out efficient. Bathroom also simple but clean with gel soap and shampoo and nice stream of hot water.

One of the better located hotels in the City of Brussels. Right across the Brussels Midi Railway Station. Easy to access once you arrive by train at Brussels. The staff was very courteous. However, the rooms lacked a bit on their cleanliness. The bed linen was not clean. There were no electric kettle in the rooms, which usually is a given.

I stayed here 4 nights(21-25 May). Hotel room is spacious, clean, tidy and comfortablel large bed, facilities including free wifi, hair dryer,tv,working table and airconditioning etc. Reception staff is helpful. Hotel is exactly located beside Brussels Midi station and on the same building with metro exit/entrance, so very convenience to the attractions, you can also go to sightseeing on foot by 30 minutes.Brussels is the capital but it is not too many attractive points, 3 days stay here is adequat... Stranded at MIDI train station by French rail strike. After several discussions with ticket agents found only reserved seats would be on 7:10 train next day. Needed emergency and call to ibis hotel chain works wonders. Hotel is adjacent, reservation made and request for early occupancy fulfilled. Hotel was clean quiet and secure. Neighborhood not the nicest and since we were unfamiliar with area we ate in. Food and service were ok. Wake up call was right on was train...made destination... Read more

Very familiar staffs are welcomed me. If a refrigerator exists in the room, better than now. Location is so convenient for traveling by train. Breakfast is available even early morning, it is very good service.

Stayed in this hotel again on a business trip and it's still up to its good standards The hotel is bright, attractive and modern in design. Rooms are clean, tidy and well equipped. The bar is well stocked with a good variety of spirits and beers. Service can be a bit slow as the restaurant waiting staff double as the bar staff, but it's not a problem. The morning breakfast buffet has a good choice. The hotel staff are helpful, courteous and friendly. Overall, a good place to stay with co... Read more

Arrived late at Midi on bus from Charleroi and glad to be in this hotel as convenient to the station. Check in was friendly. Wifi worked well. Only negative was that the front desk informed a colleague that I had checked out when I hadn't.

Good value for a room that sleeps three people and very close to the railway station, however there were some dubious characters hanging around outside later at night Please note that although close to the SNCF Eurostar station this is not the city centre, so the metro is needed three stops to Bourg.

Hotel was spacious and just across the road from gare midi station so was easy and safe enough for me to arrive back into Brussels late at night and walk to my hotel. Double bed, TV had BBC and CBS English speaking channels. Bath and shower.

Ive stayed at this hotel twice now and never had any problems, in my opinion not in the most luxurious area of Brussels but is very close to the station, the beds are comfy, pillows medium softness, restaurant is good, service excellent. would stay here again. WIFI is free for a basic connection, chargeable for a better faster connection

Ibis at gare midi is great for those who want a relatively inexpensive hotel which is close to a train station and a clean room to sleep. It is across the street from the midi station and the subway station is below the hotel. The hotel offers basic, no-thrill services, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It has many of the common issues associated with mid-price hotels: slow-draining shower, bath towels that are small and non-absorbent, shower door does not close etc. The room is clean and i... First hotel stay in my electric wheelchair. Reception were extremely helpful. Bathroom was a true delite with rails and alarms. Window was a little out of reach from my wheelchair but that didn't really matter to me . Breakfast room had plenty of room and I could reach all the items offered.

Hotel is well positioned near public transport. Reservation & checking in went very well. However we followed the "fast-check-out" since every was paid upfront and then we were surprised to get 2 new invoices (per mail) at home for our stay. Although corrected afterwards this pulled down our perception on the End to end service.

The hotel has convenient location, next to Gare du Midi. The neighbourhood is terrible - extremely dirty - and a lot of dubious characters hanging around. But the hotel is OK, spacious room, clean and quite cheap. Polite and efficient reception. Free Wi-fi available.

Its an excellent location if you want to be close to the central station and have an early morning train to catch. This apart i only used the room(3-bed room as i was with couple other friends) and did not visit the bar. There are quite a few eateries close by and luckily the day we checked in there was also a fair close by which we enjoyed. The 3-bed rooms are especially quite spacious and so is the bathroom. Not sure so much about the 2-bed rooms. Worth the stay.

Hotel situated close to Brussels Midi rail station and not too far from city centre. Rooms are clean and functional. Breakfast was fine with plenty of choices. The bar is ok for a drink or two but seemed to close at 2am despite advertising 24 hour opening. The area around the hotel is a bit bleak and not somewhere you would choose to go for a few beers however the Sunday market was really good. A walk to the Main Square took about 20 minutes

Me and sis stayed at the Ibis Hotel Gare du Midi for a long weekend in Brussels: the hotel is clean and tidy, staff is friendly and helping even with minor requests and the room was very bright and spacious. Location is very convenient, just in front of train station/metro and bus terminus, and even though the neighborhood seems very chaotic and maybe very classy we were not disturbed by any noise or having any issue.

I always stay in this hotel when I am in Brussels. The rooms are clean and the staff are wonderful and helpful. It is adjacent to Eurostar and therefore it is very convenient for train travel to the UK. The bar serves excellent food and drink. I can recommend this hotel with no reservations at all.

The reason that I chose this hotel is being near to train station as we decided to go to Paris it was an advantage. It's 5 min walk. The room was clean and big. Hotel was quiet. The only problem was not having kettle in room.

Great budget accommodation! The double room I had was quite spacious and for 2 nights ideal. The staff was lovely during check in as well as check out. Breakfast was delicious with lots of options. We used the luggage room which is basically just a room with boxes for luggage - you have to pay for this though. The hotel seemed very busy when we were there but you couldn't tell at night. There was only noise from the street.

Hotel was very nice, and the staff were very helpful. It seems to be a no-frills hotel (for example, there is no usual box of tissues in the room), but this is a minor thing. It is a very modern design, and the room was clean and new. I canâ??t comment on the breakfast since I did not eat at the hotel. The convenience to the train station (Brussels Midi) should not be underestimated: can walk to the hotel from the station (I travelled by train from Germany), and the station is very handy for a ... Positive points: hotel next to Midi train station, nice and helpful staff, cleanliness and good security/safety measures, availability of WiFi. Negative points: water in the shower drain does not flow properly, towels are not so clean, little damage in the flooring of the room (room#515).

We stayed here in August 2016 for couple of days. The best part is that its located few steps away from Brussels Midi station so onward train journeys to Paris or Amsterdam is very convenient as you will not have to travel much. Now coming to the hotel part the staff is really good. Infact the front desk helped us check in early when we reached and the room is big ans spacious. The food and breakfast option is good wherein you get most of the continental stuff and different breads. We both liked... Read more

It is very close to Gare du Midi so if travel by train it iis ideal for you. The room and bathroom were bigger than in most ibys hotels, A desk, free wifi, very comfortable bed but a bit expensive . Breakfast was at a discount of 10 euros during my stay, whisch was OK, good choice. Ia lso had dinner in the restaurant of the hotel, which was very good. Be prepared for having to pay if you leave your luggage after check-out

This hotel is located opposite the train station, very convenient access to everywhere. There were some cafes inside the station and we could buy our meals there. We had a smooth check in and the staffs were friendly and professional. It seemed to us that the location might be great for taking the train, but it might also be unsafe to venture out around the hotel at night. Our room was very spacious, we had a double bed and a single bed, and both were clean and comfortable. The window overlook... Read more

close to the train station - just across the road then walk forward for a few minutes. The interior design is quite modern compare with other hotels, the room is big and very comfortable. We spent 1 night here and had a good sleep! The price is also cheap. I would like to stay here again when I visit Brussels next time.

We have stayed in this Ibis many times (almost every year since it opened) and in the main, it suits us very well. It is well located for access to the city and it is dependable, quiet and generally clean. However, on this trip we did form the impression that prompt and regular cleaning of all public areass not a top priority as a banana was left outside the room opposite for many hours. That said, the hotel is comfortable and the staff are friendly and helpful. Occasionally people gather outsi... Read more

A good location very near the Gare du Midi / Eurostar, metro and train system but not in the old centre of town. Hotel was very quiet - breakfast quite good - lacked fresh fruit - but plenty of choice. Room seemed to have been recently decorated - clean and typical Ibis The hotel has a great baggage storage option (you have to pay to use the containers) but at least luggage is safe.
