This was my second (3 nights) stay after I had stayed here already 3 nights in September 2011. The reason for choosing this hotel again this time was simply that it didn't bother checking out something new, to me it was logistically very convenient, and the room rate (Classic Room) was the exact same as in 2011. So what has changed? Nothing. The entrance and lobby area is still charming and inviting and look ver promising. However, the hotel room interior looks still a bit frumpy, the bathroom e... Read more

Comfortable hotel close to all amenities. Would recommend highly. Rooms were spotless and breakfast was great. It was a good choice for myself and my husband. Close to avenue Louise with trams 2 min walk away.

This hotel was excellent. The furnishings are superb, the bedrooms extremely comfortable, the breakfast great and the staff exceptional. Very near all the best places in Brussels it is near the metro which takes to all the sights of Brussels.

Having never been to the country Belgium, I was never sure what to expect from a small hotel in the heart of the capital. Arriving at the destination on a main road, my first thoughts was skepticism towards the hotel, and then I stepped into the lobby. Not only does the hotel immediately sweeps you away from the urban environment made up of traffic lights and construction cones, but it still perpetuates the recognisable characteristics Brussels is known for. The golden gleam bouncing off the ma... Read more

I only spent two days here but I was welcomed by the reception staff and check-in was speedy. My room was larger than expected with two chairs, desk with chair, double bed and good sized wardrobe. Breakfast was good although I'm not sure the playing of Michael Buble christmas songs was appropriate (I like Buble but it was June when I was there!). Also, the toaster takes ages to get your bread to any level of toastiness but the rest of the breakfast was great - typical scrambled eggs, bacon, sa... Read more

I stayed in this Hotel 5 days, last year in summer. The Hotel Architecture is "special", with old furniture but very interesting atmosphere. I visited all most important surrounding only by walk. Restaurants, as a nice street full of terraces ,restaurants , shishas, is to be found 15-20 by walk, falling the shopping street to be found on the right/left side of the Hotel. The location is very good, and the zone is quite but though arround center area. I recommend this Hotel. Good prices, good br... Read more

Spent three nights in this hotel, were very comfortable there. Our room (303) was large enough and looked upon the inner court which was quiet with the exception of some garbage removal noise in the early morning. The breakfast was very good. Very good value for money.

Great location and very helpful staff who could not have been more accommodating. Rooms and bathroom both quite large, though the bathrooms need upgrading - shower curtains that stick to you should be replaced with glass screens. Pillows poor quality foam, and bed covers could do with refreshing. Air con in room did not work and could not be fixed. Rooms on front VERY noisy so very bad night sleep. All that said, we were given a ridiculously cheap rate, though would not have paid the full price ... Read more

I spent one night in this hotel, I had a room street side which is very noisy until 10:00pm and morning from 7:30am, if you can ask a room backside if any. My room was clean and the bathroom too. The receptionist was very profesionnal and breakfast staff very kind. I went at the "Kolya" restaurant , gastronomic hotel restaurant for a professional dinner and we were very happy to taste the "Chef" specialities but one staff was very rude and the place was very noisy, difficult to discuss in this ... This is our first trip to Brussels. In search for quality and value for money we fell upon a hotel that is nothing less than top class. Boutique, Edwardian, chique avec la benevolence de la monde. Superb staff, in particular front line reception and their facilitation. C'est bon. Would recommend and will definitely go back.
