We stayed in a room with a twin and 2 single beds, there was a separate toilet and shower and space in a wardrobe to hang clothes. The room was lovely and spacious it doesn't have air conditioning so the room did get quite hot, but there are windows you can open to let fresh air in. Check in and out was easy and they allowed us to keep a bags for a few hours until we caught the metro.

The hotel is located 15 minutes walk from the center of Brussels. The staff wasn't very courteous, and most of the time we got the feeling that non-Europeans were an inconvenience. Our room didn't have a kettle, and we were frowned upon when we asked to fill a glass of hot water for coffee or tea anytime after breakfast. The hotel offers only breakfast, which isn't free of charge. Being a 3-stars hotel, it offers no attractions; However, as I mentioned above, it's located near the Grand Place, t... Read more

very nice place with lots of charm and character that you'd expect from a much more pricey property. The rooms are all individual, and all have amazing character from the front door being what looked like apart of a mirrored wall with an odd door handle to open into the room... the room itself was nice if not spectacular, but worth noting to American travelers, as you have heard European hotels/buildings are significantly smaller than what Americans are accustomed to, and this hotel is no diffe... The room was quite small, but cozy and clean. The cleaning lady cleaned it every day. The hotel is near the city center. WiFi was very good! As we left the window open, many mosquitoes flew inside thus it was impossible to sleep, we were horribly bitten..

Stayed here for one night, loved it. Clean, tidy, friendly staff! Nice breakfast! Very close to the Metro line. If you arrive at Brussels Midi from landing at Charleroi airport, take the metro to Madou stop & the hotel is just up the road! Thank you we enjoyed our stay!

Functional hotel not far from the center of Brussels and the main attractions. Friendly and professional staff. Good price quality. Clean and Quiet. Some substances, probably derived at a later time are a bit small

This hotel is about 12 minutes walk from the Central Station, and 15 from the Grand Place. It is in an area with plenty of reasonable restaurants and one that I felt safe walking round alone in the evening. Staff are pleasant and helpful confirming immediately by email that reception was open 24 hours, and printing my boarding pass. Breakfast was a fairly standard continental plus "DIY" eggs. The choice of breads was good, but the fruit was pretty limited. My room and the hotel in general were c... Read more

Hotel is ideally located in the centre and close to most of EC buildings. Metro station is very close. Room was small, but cosy. TV set is mounted to high and that creates shadows on the screen Breakfast is good. However, there were neither salads nor vegetables available Nevertherless, the price is reasonable for the room.

This is a very nice mid range hotel with very good prices. I found the staff helpful though a phone call to remind me of the check out time seemed a bit unnecessary at the end of my stay. The check in is friendly and efficient, the room is comfortable and what you would expect of amid range hotel. My only reservation with this hotel is the bathroom door is a sliding door no sound proofing, so that's a little set back when you are sharing a room.

Many many stays at this charming hotel - and this time, was the very best! Its central but tranquil location has had me returning year after year. Delightful staff, the courtyard garden is a real bonus, fast free wifi, great breakfast, and this time I got a really superb room with a staircase to a huge bathroom! I so love the Hotel du Congres, and simply wouldn't even think of staying anywhere else when in Brussels. The weekend rate (when the city is less crowded) is a real bargain for the quali... Read more

My room on the 3rd floor was really tiny ... and quite hot. Still it was clean and quite during the night as I had to sleep with open window. The bed was comfortable. Definitely a hotel for short stays, mainly business trips. Close to Metro station.

I have stayed at the Hotel du Congres in Brussels several times. It si modern and old-fashioned in a strange combination as modern rooms have been fitted into an old building. On one floor you enter into the rooms through an old mirrored wall. The service is excellent, the breakfast room and the lobby is nice. It is my favorite hotel in Brussels and it is not super-expensive.
