Hi All, Many of you might had a good time during your good holidays. However, on 22nd March 2016 there was a 3 bomb blast in the city and the entire city was under threat. I have planned to visit Brussels with my family on 27th March 2016 and definitely I was not comfortable after the attack. I called up the hotel on 23rd March to cancel the room and they say that everything will be ok and if they cancel the rooms then they will be at loss and its their company policy. How insane one can be. I w... Read more

Brussels is one of my frequent directions and I stay in the centre quite often, so I try out other hotels from time to time. Brussels is quite well known for expensive hotels that don't have much to offer. I booked Hotel Chambord for the breakfast looked good and was included in the room prize - some other hotels ad up 15 Euros or more for breakfast and quite often it is not worth it. I booked a single room and to be fair, it said small single room in the ad. I was not aware that small single ro... Read more

There are two most important aspects that I have to share here: 1. The Wi-Fi connection: It was impossible to connect to. Only a few people from our group of more than 10 managed to log in. The reception desk persons, both in the night shift and the day shift, could not help, relaying the responsibility to the Internet Service Provider. For almost three days, two overnights - the problem was not solved. 2. The departure day was the state holiday in Belgium. It turned out that the breakfast wil... Read more

This hotel is ideally located as it is literally in the middle of everything. Very close to great restaurants and bars and just down the road from a strip of designer retail shops. The rooms were simple but very well kept and clean. The price included a buffet breakfast which was very nice, fresh and offered a good range of items. We also found that it was very easy to travel to and from the airport using the local train service as the station was just a 10 minute walk. There will be nicer, and... Read more

There is nothing fancy here, nor was the room extraordinary. However, the service was great, the guys at the desk and solid. The breakfast was good. The room was clean, the location is great, etc. etc. This place is a great choice. One negative - no ice machine in the whole hotel.

metro stop outside front door of hotel. staff were friendly and helpful. 1st room the bathroom flooded, 2nd room was on 1st floor right next to construction site and was dark & small, got a 3rd room on 5th floor overlooking internal courtyard, big family room nice and bright. luggage storage which was handy as we arrived at 9am. breakfast was good, nice bright room, huge range of food choices, mainly continental only bacon & scrambled eggs that was hot. pastries, bread, cereal, yoghurts and lots... I stay at this hotel often. It is convenient for work and pleasure. The rooms are basic and clean. the breakfast more than adequate. If you are looking for luxury then this is not for you. There are a wide range of restaurants nearby. You can walk to Grand platz in about 10 mins (fast pace). It is very well placed for tourists. The staff are welcoming and helpful. I would recommend this Hotel.

Stayed at this hotel with my partner for 3 nights. We had room 602, a compact and nicely decorated room with a small terrace (with a great view) and air conditioning. There is a small lift, or you can take the challenge to climb to the sixth floor. The Room provided everything we needed and was big enough for 2, nice bathroom with great shower with hot water always available. Breakfast was included and offered bacon and egg, pastries, meat, cheeses, cereals, fruit and yogurts. Breakfast room is... Read more

I stayed three nights in this Hotel. The room had all the basic facilities and was clean. The breakfast room is nice, with big windows looking out on the road in front of the hotel. The buffet breakfast has sufficient variety of items and actually very nice sweet pastries. The location is perfect in the middle of the centre of Brussels; all important sight seeing features are within walking distance.

I stayed here 8 years ago, and remembered it as a nice hotel. Either something changed or i remembered wrong; my room had a view to the window in another room (!), the aircon was extremely noizy. I came back from a meeting at 9 in the evening, and wanted to bring a drink to my room- but the hotel has no bar, nor mini bar in the room, and the receptionist referred me to a cola vending machine. Checking out the next morning, i waited 7 minutes for the elevator- as its a hotel with 5 floirs, but on... Read more

The hotel is located right across from the Porte de Namur metro stop and is a short walk from all the major tourist attractions except the Atomium. The front desk was friendly, helpful and accommodating and the breakfast was very good. The only minor problem was that room while comfortable, we were not given a way to control the heating so one night it was too cold, the next too hot and the bathroom never was warm enough.

This is a basic and functional operation that is close to most EU institutions and points of business. Reception clear and efficient. The rooms are reached via possibly the smallest elevator in Europe! Twisting narrow corridors yled to a somewhat spartan room. A d equate, lacking in aesthetic charm b ut no more than a place to sleep. Breakfast was good enough and in a nice airy room. The staff insisted on clearing all out at 10:00. Quite unpleasant as there is nowhere ... Read more
