Very close to the center. The staff was nice and efficient on check in/out. The rooms are small but ok and bed was pretty big and comfortable. Heating is very good. The worst the bathroom, which is tiny and the water spills all over it when taking a shower because the shower curtains were too short. Most accessories of the bathroom were very rusty, too.

It seems that the only positive side of this hotel is where it's situated. It was very hard to be rested after a night of slamming doors, hearing the neighbors' conversations and basically not being able to have an actually calm moment. I was very disappointed.

I would recommend for budget stay and not for family stay with children as the location is not so up to date. The place outside the hotel are mainly having people drinking on the park and noisy at night. Not safe to walk at night for tourist. If you looking for budget stay then you can stay there as the staff are friendly.

The staff at the Hotel Barry gave me a warm welcome and all the staff I came into contact with were friendly and professional. The hotel is about 15 minutes walk from Midi station and about 15 minutes from Grand Place. There are quite a few restaurants nearby along with food shops and a pharmacy. The Anneessens metro station is right outside the hotel as well. It's two stops on the metro to Midi station. My room was a single room and was not very large but more than adequate for my needs howe... Read more

We were traveling through Brussels with family and I have found this hotel on, close to the city centre with parking option for a night. Unfortunately, missed to check the reviews that could help us to avoid them! When arrived all seemed okay but when we went up to the room we were shocked! It was like a workers' hostel! Smelly corridors, noisy, drinking room neighbours, lots of homeless, drunk people in the park front of hotel! The room was very basic with dark tile flooring (to hid... Read more

Functional hotel easy to find quite central with a pleasant welcome. Rooms were poorly ventilated & warm, the rooms were very small the bathroom being of absolute minimum size. Standing in front of basin was struggle, turning round in shower was impossible with out flooding or turning off shower. Overall 45 euro a night I would stop again as good location.

Loaction of this place is not bad, about 5-10 mins from the main tourist areas,if you arrive on a Tuesday you may be mistake for thinking you are in another country as there is a market right in front of the hotel ,selling cheap pound shop items, the hotel staff are quite friendly,my room smelled like a dead animal ,the toilet runs for about 6 hours after it has been flushed, but the worst thing about the hotel Barry is the shower, the bathroom is tiny and the shower itself is even smaller, there... Rather small rooms, but a fairly cheap hotel ...with a 5-10 minute walking distance to the Brussels City Centre, and many of the must-see-sights. I needed a roof over my head, a clean bed, a shower and wi-fi ...I got all of that, so I was happy with my stay.

The best thing about the hotel was the staff - very friendly and obliging The room was clean, fresh and quiet. It's in a great location inbetween Garde du Midi Sud and the Grand Place, so on these levels it can't be faulted. No, it's not the grandest hotel in Brussels but it is not priced to be. We paid about £100 for two nights in a triple room, which was excellent value. If you want a 5 star hotel, go elsewhere, but if you want a great cheap hotel, this will do nicely.
