Usually I choose my hotel by its location. Lucky me, this time I chose the Hitlon Grand Place. I had a pleasant stay with extraordinary service and a delicious service! Based on that great experience I will book that Hilton again and strongly recommend a stay at that lovely place in the center of Brussels.

This is a great location if you are coming from the airport by train. The train station is across the plaza/traffic circle from the hotel. There is no problem with noise. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room we had was just perfect for our needs. Breakfast is not included and upon registering was asked if we wanted to do breakfast at the hotel. I said yes, but beware that it's pricey.....38 Euros for 2. In hind sight we would have rather gone down to the Grand Place to eat at ... Read more

Very friendly and efficient staff. Our rooms were exactly as requested. We stayed at back of hotel which was extremely quiet and had interesting view. Being right across from Central Station allowed easy access to Eurostar and airport. About 5 mins walk to Grand Place so brilliant location. We did not eat at the hotel but it provided a perfect base for a weekend trip to Brussels

It had the surface trappings of a high end place but it all fell flat. Low shower pressure. No outlet near the bed. One outlet that didn't work. No information about the area given at the desk. The experience just fell flat.

We stayed here for one night. Thanks to the other reviews, we knew to ask for a renovated room. Our room was quite nice and had adequate space. We were on the 3rd floor on the side of Central Station and had no problems with noise. The hotel was conveniently located near shopping and restaurants. We would stay here again.

It is hard not to ascribe purposeful negative intent to the actions and behavior of the concierge. Simple request such as calling a taxi were met with derision bordering on aggression, and most importantly failure.

Opted for the Junior Suite which was perfect form the family. Complementing the hotel is the location which you can't beat. The breakfast was very pleasant with a good range. I liked the fresh waffles. We enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Grand Palace. We were upgraded to a suite due to Hilton status, and the room and bathroom were quite spacious (though a strange shape--long and skinny). It was sparsely decorated and felt pretty generic, but it was on a high floor and therefore had a decent view. With our Hilton status, we got free breakfast which was lovely. It included both continental style offerings and hot food, which got the day off to a nice start. The members lounge was open throughout ... Read more

Booked this hotel for a three day visit to Brussels. Location is very good, just in front of central station. The hotel itself is kind of old, room is big, amenities are ok, however there are no slippers in the room - cold floor -. This hotel is beautiful and the rooms are very accommodating, but the service just misses the mark a little. The rooms are pretty large for European rooms, and they were very clean... so that's all in the plus column. Also the view from our window was so nice. Okay so I was upgraded - in the summer period when Brussels slows down for business/politics. My room was large, spacious, clean, functional - overall very pleasant. Shame it was a single nights stay. Why not 5*? Well a simple thing, despite only getting back to the hotel after dinner at 11:30pm the hotel bar shut at 11:55 (supposedly midnight). The hotel is well located by the main railway station, where we could easily go anywhere in the country, which we did. All the important sights are in walking distance. In case the basic room is not adequate, you can choose from the better rooms with extra room rate, of course. We did that and were pleased with the 5 th floor room. It was quiet and the bed good. The staff was helpful, especially one gentleman in the reception. We felt welcome.

The location is convenient if you traveling by train, as it stands right across the train station. Just a few walking minutes and you are at the Grand Place Square and Rue des Bouchers - the street of many restaurants and other touristy spots. My wife came for a conference and I tagged along. We flew into Paris and took the train up to Brussels and stayed 4 nights. Location: cannot be better: walk outside and around the back of the hotel and down the street 2 minutes, and we were greeted with a charming area with restaurants, shops, parks. Oh, and it's Chocolate Heaven here! Another minute, we were at the stunningly beautiful Grand Place square. My wife attended conferences at the local Arts complex which ended up being a 5 min... I stayed here because of it's very central location. It's literally a few meters from Buxelles Central station. However, the room I got was very clean but really outdated, with a mixture of furniture styles and very few power outlets, none close to the bed side. I was promised this was one of the few rooms still up for renovation, though. Breakfast was nice, with a good variety of offered food and good service, though nothing special.
