A great spot to stay in Brussels. Close to Grand Place and other attractions. Rooms are excellent. Staff are well trained and make you feel at home. The restaurant serves a variety of good wholesome food. Excellent stay in the very heart of the City.

I came to stay in Brussels as I was having surgery. The hotel is around 15 mins--- â?¬40 taxi cab ride. Upon arrival the security and concierge couldn't of been more helpful. Checking in was easy and smooth. First impressions of the hotel were how modern and clean it is. All staff we have come across are so helpful speak perfect English which makes me rather ashamed my French isn't up to scratch!! The rooms are lovely. With plenty of storage for clothes, cases etc. Well equipped with the ... Read more

My experience at this Category 8, (35,000 points) Marriott hotel was awful with both the room and the customer service. Marriott has nine levels of hotels and somehow this was put in category eight so I expected really nice accommodations. The hotel is a short walk from Grand Place but that also brings the noise especially if there is an event going on in town to the wee hours of the morning, it is really difficult to get sleep as there is no sound insulation. They do provide earplugs. The room... Read more

Possibly the best hotel in Brussels! Room was charming, staff were very professional. From the view of my room, I was even able to witness the fireworks that were put up during National Day. Only minor complaint was that the club lounge spread could be more extensive for is a Marriott property. Highly recommended.

Nice hotel in the middle of Brussels. You get at nice room, good service and there is nothing to complain. Just enjoy the comfort you get. High class business hotel with nice space in the rooms and the thing you need.

After an absence of eight years away, we were keen to go back to the Marriott in Brussels. Aside from the understandable extra security it was more or less as good as we remembered. This time round we had a small suite which granted us entry into the Exclusive Lounge area with its complimentary food and drink - a real bonus. The room itself was huge and had a fantastic view of the Bourse. A little noisy and the shower seemed to leak slightly, but otherwise a great way to finish our trip to t... Read more

I am visiting Brussels on a incentive tour with a large group. About 90 persons staying in your property. No scanner for baggage screening, so made to wait really long. Not up to Marriott International standard. Hope the checkout turns out smoother.

This hotel is really nice. The rooms are spacious- very comfortable. GREAT location- only about a 5 minute walk to grand palace. Great restaurants and shops surrounding the hotel. Very safe around the hotel. There are metal detectors to walk through prior to coming in. I believe this is in place due to heightened security since the bombings. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great source of information. They helped to guide me to where I wanted to go and provided information on how to catch... Read more

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are modern, the lobby is large & welcoming, and the staff was very helpful. On check-in we were up-graded to a larger room facing the front of the hotel, so we were able to watch some of the activity on the pedestrian street right from our window. At the lobby bar, Anastasia and Leo were friendly, and stopped to chat a bit instead of just delivering food and drink. The hotel is located right in the center of old town and within a very easy walk of attractio... Read more

At the end of a 10 day trip to Belgium we decided to spend our last two days in Brussels rather than out in the countryside (we had lots of clouds and rain.) Saw a great price to stay at a Marriott on Grand Place in Brussels. We had not heard good things about Brussels. But we loved it! Loved the historic squares/the area is compact enough to walk to many museums, and the shopping arcades were historic and beautiful. The Marriott is really three blocks off the Grand Place, but still a nice ... Read more

We had a lovely stay in brussels with this hotel being centrally situated and stone throw away from most monuments. It was like 24 hours party around this hotel due to people performing and chatting all day and nite . The staff was very cordial especially Ruth and concierge who guided us to most places to visit in a short span and also amenities were good and nice and in abundance when asked for more.

Absolutely enjoyed our stay! The front desk team was outstanding! Upgraded to an Executive Suite with an incredible view! Enjoyed the wine and cheese tray in the evening! It's the small touches that made all the difference! I can't recommend this fine example of Marriott Excellence enough!!

My daughter and I took a vacation for her college graduation. The hotel was very secure, and the staff was amazing! I had emailed numerous times before our trip, and my emails were answered promptly and with courtesy. I never felt like my questions were an inconvenience. It is within walking distance of shopping, restaurants and attractions.

I have stayed several times at this hotel. And it has the best staff of any Marriott I have stayed in. And I have stayed in a LOT of Marriotts. The standard answer is "YES" to just about any request. I requested a special room for this stay, knowing it may or may not be available, but the confirmed the room well before arrival. It also does not hurt that the location is very convenient. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and good quality.

We stayed here before, many years ago and compared with the previous stay, we were really disappointed. This is not at all a bad hotel, though we clearly identified some issues which is definitely not the standard at Marriott. It already starts when we arrived with the rental car and tried to get into the hotel parking which was locked (good) though nobody is answering the bell when ringing at the parking door. Our car was blocking the street. Not pleasant and avoidable. Check in is effic... Read more

Myself and a couple of girlfriends travelled to Brussels not that long after the attacks. Like others have commented it was good to see additional security in the hotel and around the city. The hotel was a great choice with our room choice gaining us access to the brilliant executive lounge. One of my friends has a condition which makes walking tiring and this was a great little bolt hole - nibbles and tapas with wine between 5 and 7 o'clock but the hotel were relaxed about the finish time so on... Great location very close to Grand Place. Nicely appointed, comfortable rooms. Breakfast was good. Staff was pleasant. No problems. I would recommend for business or personal travel. We arrived early and they checked us in right away. Our requested room (king bed) was not ready so we were given the option of waiting or accepting double beds. We accepted the double beds which were more than adequate.

Stayed here 1 night whilst on business. On arrival check in was straight forward and quick. The room allocated was lovely, nice big bed which was extremely comfortable and I had a fab nights sleep. The bathroom was good too with great towels. Breakfast was the usual buffet affair and perfectly adequate. The staff were all extremely attentive and helpful and very pleasant. The location is excellent for the Grand Place and the surrounding area. I will stay here again.

I could not give this hotel a higher rating. The room was spacious by European standards. The staff was very gracious and welcoming. The location near the Grand Place was perfect. While this was a business trip, I was able to see much of the City because of the close in location. I will definitely return if I am ever in Brussels again!

A throw-back to the hey-days of the Grand Tour, the hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of the historical district just minutes walk away from the UNESCO World Heritage Grand Place. Efficient check-in staff, friendly concierge and ever-ready bell-hop making this a superb hotel to stay in for business or holiday. The beds are so plush and comfortable you don't ever want to wake up each morning except you'd want to partake in the wide breakfast spread that offers Belgian waffles!

The Marriott Grand Place is as conveniently located in Brussels as you can get. My friend and I stayed here for two nights in early March and had an excellent time. The included breakfast was really good and helped prepare us for our days of exploring and adventuring, whereas the room was really well sized (especially for European standards) and a great place to relax in before heading out again. The beds were super comfortable - my friend and I found ourselves falling asleep within minutes. The... Read more

2 of us stayed here for 5 nights last week and we had a wonderful experience. The location is great - close to Grand Place, train station, metro station and even a supermarket. The breakfast served in their restaurant was really good. It had variety and the chef served tasty omelettes. The fitness center was clean and has all basic equipment and is open 24 hours. The lounge is a bit small and hence was quite crowded. And we found the cocktail hours' snacks to be a bit limited in variety. ... Read more

The Marriott hotel Grand Place is at a convenient location, you can walk to almost every attraction. Room are very small even an executive room that you would hope it be big wasn't, but it was very clean. Housekeeping was very fast to deliver requests which was very much appreciated. I stayed at this hotel for two nights during my business trip to Belgium. It is very centrally located, a lot of shops and bars around the hotel. Security is very tight at this hotel, front door at lobby is always locked and security checking gate is in place. I loved the Marriott, situated a few minutes walk from the the Grand Place with a metro stop right beside the hotel. There was a lot of security in the area, I don't know if that was because the World Cup was on during our stay, but it does make one a little uneasy to see so many armed soldiers patrolling the area. The staff was very polite and helpful. We needed tour tickets printed and they were very accommodating. The room was very nice, comfortable bed and very sound proof. I have nev... Read more
