A great spot to stay in Brussels. Close to Grand Place and other attractions. Rooms are excellent. Staff are well trained and make you feel at home. The restaurant serves a variety of good wholesome food. Excellent stay in the very heart of the City.

I came to stay in Brussels as I was having surgery. The hotel is around 15 mins--- â?¬40 taxi cab ride. Upon arrival the security and concierge couldn't of been more helpful. Checking in was easy and smooth. First impressions of the hotel were how modern and clean it is. All staff we have come across are so helpful speak perfect English which makes me rather ashamed my French isn't up to scratch!! The rooms are lovely. My experience at this Category 8, (35,000 points) Marriott hotel was awful with both the room and the customer service. Marriott has nine levels of hotels and somehow this was put in category eight so I expected really nice accommodations. The hotel is a short walk from Grand Place but that also brings the noise especially if there is an event going on in town to the wee hours of the morning, it is really difficult to get sleep as there is no sound insulation. They do provide earplugs. The room... Read more

Possibly the best hotel in Brussels! Room was charming, staff were very professional. From the view of my room, I was even able to witness the fireworks that were put up during National Day. Only minor complaint was that the club lounge spread could be more extensive for is a Marriott property. Highly recommended.

After an absence of eight years away, we were keen to go back to the Marriott in Brussels. Aside from the understandable extra security it was more or less as good as we remembered. This time round we had a small suite which granted us entry into the Exclusive Lounge area with its complimentary food and drink - a real bonus. The room itself was huge and had a fantastic view of the Bourse. A little noisy and the shower seemed to leak slightly, but otherwise a great way to finish our trip to t... Read more

This hotel is really nice. The rooms are spacious- very comfortable. GREAT location- only about a 5 minute walk to grand palace. Great restaurants and shops surrounding the hotel. Very safe around the hotel. There are metal detectors to walk through prior to coming in. I believe this is in place due to heightened security since the bombings. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Great source of information. They helped to guide me to where I wanted to go and provided information on how to catch... Read more

This is a beautiful hotel. The rooms are modern, the lobby is large & welcoming, and the staff was very helpful. On check-in we were up-graded to a larger room facing the front of the hotel, so we were able to watch some of the activity on the pedestrian street right from our window. At the lobby bar, Anastasia and Leo were friendly, and stopped to chat a bit instead of just delivering food and drink. At the end of a 10 day trip to Belgium we decided to spend our last two days in Brussels rather than out in the countryside (we had lots of clouds and rain.) Saw a great price to stay at a Marriott on Grand Place in Brussels. We had not heard good things about Brussels. But we loved it! Loved the historic squares/the area is compact enough to walk to many museums, and the shopping arcades were historic and beautiful. We had a lovely stay in brussels with this hotel being centrally situated and stone throw away from most monuments. It was like 24 hours party around this hotel due to people performing and chatting all day and nite . The staff was very cordial especially Ruth and concierge who guided us to most places to visit in a short span and also amenities were good and nice and in abundance when asked for more.

I have stayed several times at this hotel. And it has the best staff of any Marriott I have stayed in. And I have stayed in a LOT of Marriotts. The standard answer is "YES" to just about any request. I requested a special room for this stay, knowing it may or may not be available, but the confirmed the room well before arrival. It also does not hurt that the location is very convenient. The breakfast buffet was very extensive and good quality.

We stayed here before, many years ago and compared with the previous stay, we were really disappointed. This is not at all a bad hotel, though we clearly identified some issues which is definitely not the standard at Marriott. It already starts when we arrived with the rental car and tried to get into the hotel parking which was locked (good) though nobody is answering the bell when ringing at the parking door. Our car was blocking the street. Not pleasant and avoidable. Check in is effic... Read more

Myself and a couple of girlfriends travelled to Brussels not that long after the attacks. Like others have commented it was good to see additional security in the hotel and around the city. The hotel was a great choice with our room choice gaining us access to the brilliant executive lounge. Great location very close to Grand Place. Nicely appointed, comfortable rooms. Breakfast was good. Staff was pleasant. No problems. I would recommend for business or personal travel. We arrived early and they checked us in right away. Our requested room (king bed) was not ready so we were given the option of waiting or accepting double beds. We accepted the double beds which were more than adequate.

Getting around that area of Brussels can be a little tricky lately because there is additional security and some roads are closed to vehicles. When I arrived, one of their staff hopped in the car with me to show me where the parking garage was (rather than try to give me confusing directions). Later, I was trying to find a... Read more

We have stayed in Marriotts for years. This Marriott does not live up to normal Marriott standards. We attempted to drive to this hotel, knowing we would pay $28/day for parking. We were within .5 mile of the hotel and it took us another 60 minutes to get there. We had to call the hotel receptionist twice due to road closures, one way streets, and then found that the parking garage which is on the street behind the hotel had the garage closed. Another call to have someone come open the garage. ... Read more

We stayed at the Marriott for three nights this summer and had notably excellent service while we were there. We had a senior executive suite at the hotel, which provided us with more than enough space for our family of four. The room was clean, the view was great, but it was the staff that really stood out. They were especially friendly, welcoming and accommodating.

Room: quite noisy from street sounds. Should expect almost no sounds in a comfort hotel like this Breakfast: Really really! poor for 20 euros! Eggs where ok (you could choose your own ones), but no fresh yogurt is so cheap! Only the yogurt in cans.. Also should expect some more choice to additionions, like nuts etc. Not only cereals. Coffee was ok. Bar: Bad management/expectations. Asked for a whiskey and received a triple one incl. on the bill!- double ok but triple please ask/confirm if that i... Read more

This hotel is in the heart of Brussels! Just steps from La Grande Place, the most visited attraction in Brussels! The hotel itself is really nice, well decorated, good sized rooms and amenities. If you're a gold/platinum member, even better! Breakfast was included and delicious, lots of things to choose from. And the executive lounge was pretty good too! Cold beer at happy hour, appetizers, cheese! I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brussels!

Tremendous service, great rooms and very central. I use this hotel regularly for business and it is perfect. The staff are extremely good, the location allows you to explore central Brussels with ease and the rooms are extremely comfortable.

We've stayed at lots of Marriotts all over the world, & this had the best staff we've ever encountered. Super friendly. Super efficient. Anything we asked for was provided immediately. We were points guests, so (luckily for us) we had a courtyard view away from any noise. Special kudos & thanks to trainee Sophie who went out of her way to help us get a ride to the airport when our pre-booked driver didn't show up.

This was a fantastic hotel for a quick trip to Brussels. All the major sites were a quick 5-10 minute walk, and the hotel is surrounded by good spots to eat. The area around St. Catherine's was a particular highlight. Hotel staff was great in providing suggestions for food and sites. The hotel itself was great. Very clean, staff was friendly. It does overlook a street that can be a little noisy at night, but I didn't find it bothersome on a Saturday night. That said, light sleepers may want ea... Read more
