Nice comfy clean bed, clean room & bathroom. Young man in reception took the time to come up to our room to fix the TV. Another booked a taxi for us. Accommodating and friendly staff. Superb meal in the hotel restaurant. Young waiter there was excellent in terms of the service he delivered. Hotel in a great location, near bars, shops & cafes.

Myself and my husband stayed here for one night as we were stopping in Brussels before we flew back to Dublin. I have to say, this is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at. The rooms are spacious, clean and very comfortable. All rooms have a mini fridge and TV. I have seen reviews here complaining about the WIFI. Our WIFI worked perfectly (streamed online TV in our room). The location is definitely what makes this hotel. 10 minutes away is all of the main sights and attractions that Brussels... Read more

Hotel has a good location, good reception area and beds were comfortable. However long list of issues. I have booked multiple rooms for a large group and everyone agreed on the following issues; Staff is not friendly and have a kind of attitude that you wouldn't come across in good hotels. We arrived at 1:00pm and rooms were not ready. We were told that we can only check in after 3:00pm, which is not a practice of good hotels. This was the worst hotel experience ever, the rooms didn't had any heating so we ask for a refund, no management available since it was a weekend, the reception clerk still tried to charge the city tax, despite we left and didn't not stay there. The heating is only turned on in certain times of the year, but if you take a shower and want the room a bit hotter, you can't! Bottom line, avoid this hotel, also the staff is really rude. Modern facilities, well maintained and easy to access from Brussels South Midi railway station. Well presented breakfast with a pleasant selection that you would hope for and expect. Easy pedestrian access into the city centre for the multitude of famous sights, bars, cafes, restaurants and shops. Bar prices reasonable and actually cheaper than a few bars we went to in the city centre. We would stay here again and we would recommend it to family and friends.

The two stars are for the internet connection. It is nowadays not acceptable not to have a stable internet connection in an hotel, when travelling for business and conferences. I was in a congress in June 2016. The wifi connection was not working in the room, neither in concierge. Or, to better say, it was working "sometimes", then it disconnected, then again it connected, and so on. Both on my mobile and on my laptop. Honestly, I was disappointed in my stay here. The major upside to booking this hotel is the location. It's close to everything, within walking distance. However, I encountered a few issues during my stay here. First of all, I waited 20 minutes to check in and wasn't offered an apology or any friendly gratitude. The receptionist did the bare minimum. She gave me my room key and that was the extent of it. She didn't tell me when was check out or explain anything about the hotel or room itself. I... Read more

Great price, great location, included a comprehensive buffet breakfast. The hotel is quite large with what must be around 500plus rooms so the breakfast area did have a bit of a busy canteen vibe to it, not a relaxing way to start the day. The hotel itself is quite old but updated and our room felt newly renovated and very clean. I had read in other reviews that the staff were rude but I didn't find that to be the case at all I found that they were efficient and were helpful with everything I as... Read more

My fiance and I stayed here in August 2016 for 3 nights. The location is faultless. You can walk to the Grand Palace in a matter of minutes, as well as many other sites. There are also lots of shops and restaurants nearby and therefore its location suits all your needs. The main annoyance with this hotel is that I am not sure it can manage its size. It constantly looked huge and empty when we walked in, even though there were lots of guests at breakfast - this made it feel a bit soulless. ... Read more

Initial contact with the staff member on checkin was not at all warm or welcoming, it was informing me check in was delayed by 30 minutes as they had to process bookings/rooms for a large group. Then only two staff to check in alarge group of people waiting due to the delay. Room has some dampness in it but this is not to bad but you can smell and feel it. The balcony door does not lock and this in my opinion is a personal security issue. I have been informed that this is to allow access to the... Read more

The location is excellent, being walking distance from the city centre, Grote Markt. A short walk away from Annessessens tram station which connects one to many other places in Brussels. But aside from location, the hotel is minimally value for money. The bathtub is in a location where the light doesn't come through once the shower curtain is drawn. There are also rusty cracks in the bathtub. Room is a little small for 2 persons especially if you have large luggages. The security, or rather ... Read more

My husband and his parents stayed at this hotel and everything was very well done. From the moment you walk into the impressive lobby, the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. We had a night cap at the bar and the bartender was very nice as well. The parking garage is behind the hotel and very reasonably priced. It's a short little walk to the grand place square, shops and restaurants.

My colleagues and I booked this hotel for a conference last week and the meeting rooms at the 8th floor was spectacular! Great view and great environment to work in! :) We stayed in a triple room which was big enough for all of us, it had cozy, comfortable beds and the breakfast was okay, not a lot of options, but still okay. Another great thing was its closeness to the Grand Place square! :)

The heating was not working in our room. Although a reception staff member looked at the room and went off to find another, we were left in the lobby for over half an hour with no explanation. As we had a dinner appointment that evening we had to leave our luggage with reception without getting washed or changed. Arriving back after midnight the night receptionist had no knowledge of what had happened, although key cards to a new room were left for us. Sadly, we did not know that our luggage ... Read more

Stayed for 6 nights, late November on a BB basis. The hotel was easy to find as it's 5 min from metro station, we got off at Bourse station and walked 5min to the hotel. Arrived around 1pm, left the luggage in the designated luggage room, went to explore the area and was very happy to discover that it's 5 min away from Grand Place and mainly tourist attractions! Came back at the hotel around 3pm and was checked in. We were allocated a room at the 4th floor, as all as we entered we have realized ... Read more
