Great location to be able to walk to everything. Close to the train station. Clean rooms with everything I needed. Quiet. Perfect for a very short stay. Friendly staff. Fast & easy check in and check out.

Good location of hotel right between train station, 15 mins walk and Grand Place, another 15 mins, clean room, free Wi Fi, but does not work in the room, small convenient stores that open late in the area

My friends and I stayed for 2 nights in this hotel. It's considered very good for the money we paid. A good 8-10 minutes walk to Grand place. Many convenient stores nearby if you want to buy a bottle of beer back to your hotel. We like that they have separate shower and toilet for the triple room. Good basic breakfast provided too.

This hotel has everything you could possibly want. Comfy beds, friendly staff, free WiFi, a functional elevator (not as obvious as you might think!), well-equipped bathrooms complete with hairdryers and towel rails (again, not a given!), reasonable prices, a great location, and to top it all off, free breakfast! I honestly couldn't think of anywhere better to stay in Brussels.

Stayed overnight sometime in October, and location is great; breakfast the best! Their croissants were to die for and the choices of cheese were a aplenty. Bummer was front desk clerk asking for the key everytime we went out. We stayed at the topmost floor with two rooms connected by a common bathroom. Our room had 2 balconies, one covered and one open. We had a grand time having good beer at the covered balcony. If you're a group of 4, book that room. Highly recommended.

Perfect location, close to the city center and to Garre de Midi Station. Very clean, spacious rooms and great breakfast. Quiet expensive for a 2 star hotel but the service and the location are very good.

I selected the Hotel a la Grande Cloche due to its close proximity to the Midi train station where we arrived from Paris. It‚??s a short walk from the station through a middle/lower class but safe neighborhood. The hotel is located on the Place Rouppe, a large area with several nice sidewalk restaurants. ‚??Emmanuel‚?? at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The afternoon/night guy with white hair and glasses was snarky and surly. Avoid him at all costs. The hotel is an old classic and ... Read more

We chose this place for location and value, and it worked well in those regards. As you could see from a map, it is halfway between Gare Midi and the historic centre, and the price was considerably less than other nearby accommodations. Pluses included considerable character, exceptional cleanliness and upscale linens, and a great breakfast in a fantastic setting. Beware however of what you might be getting: our room had apparently been created out of two earlier rooms, so that the bedroo... Read more

A la grande cloche is perfectly located: close to the city centre, but also to Midi station (great if you fly to Charleroi and then catch the City Shuttle to go to Bruxelles). It is a bit old inside, but clean. My room was very spacious, especially the bathroom!
