If arriving by train or metro at Schuman station, you will exit at the EU CommissionÔ??s Berlaymont building. To orient, look up the hill on the main road for a traffic circle and, beyond it, a triumphal arch over the road (entry to Jubelpark). Go to the circle and turn right (Rue Froissart); go one long block and look down the side road on the right (Rue Juste Lipse) for the Aloft. It is walking distance (we are a couple in our 60Ô??s), with rolling luggage or back-pack. The Aloft staff pres... Read more

The hotel is extremely well located at walking distance from EU-Headquarters and metro stations, it is in a very safe and nice neighborhood in Brussels. The room we got had a king size bed and hotel provided a bed for our toddler, the room is spacious very clean and offers all you need for either a business or leisure trip (wifi, a desk, television with different ports to connect your own media). The hotel also offers a neat gym, it is not the biggest of all but has all you need for a proper exe... Read more

The hotel is a few minutes from Schuman. It is modern, clean and comfortable. The room was large and was equipped with a king size bed, TV, fridge, safe, bluetooth speaker/clock radio, nespresso machine, kettle, air con, ironing board and iron. The wifi was good, averaging about 7 mbs, a bit less at busy times. Some of the reviews mention the lack of door to the toilet. There is a sliding door, so the toilet and shower area can be isolated. Stayed here because my preferred hotel the Sofitel in Place Jourdan would only take bookings for a minimum of 2 nights and only needed a 1 night stay. The location is good 5 minutes walk to the Berlaymont building for EC business and 5 minutes walk to the restaurants in Place Jourdan. The room was fine and like the hotel decor was in a modern style which was not really to my taste and the walls in the corridors on the 8th floor were worn with some scrape marks. Eight floor. Outside emerges the Justus Lipsius building through a big window! Perfect location for me, I have to say. I was invited to participate in a meeting in Council of the EU. Staff was amazing, all of them very young, but compenetrated in what they are doing and always with a smile! The size of the room was enough. Not too big, but also not so small. Lavatory, wc and shower are in a kind of a corridor, behind the but everything was easy and smooth to use. Good wifi facilities with no res... Read more

A very pleasant stay here on the weekend of the EU 'open house' and the Brussels 20k. It's very well situated, close to Schuman but 5 minutes by metro to downtown. Good restaurants in the vicinity, a supermarket just around the corner, Easy train or bus access to the airport. Clean and comfortable; good value.

Excellent choice for a low-cost hotel in a convenient location - obviously great for EU business but not far to walk to the Grand Place etc. Lots of fun / thoughtful design features, brilliant shower, great bed, good bar with pool table, friendly staff, useful facility selling drinks and snacks when the bar is closed. Everything seemed great about this hotel and I would definitely stay here again.

This was my fourth time in Aloft. The prices vary significantly in different times of the week / month / year. At times the cheapest rooms are under 100 EUR while most of the time they are 200 and over. The lobby has a youth hostel wibe. Rooms are clean and modern but otherwise insignificant. Breakfast is a big minus for the property. It's all self service (I do not mind) but the selections is very limited. For a hotel where one pays >200 EUR per night one would expect something different. This ... Read more

It is one of these hotels when entering the room you are in the bathroom, or sort of. Located in Schumann district, walking distance form metro and direct bus from the airport. Modern check-in as an island, hipsters as hotel staff, concrete and vibes. Definitely not for everyone. The room is spacious, modern, no views however, it is tight Brussels surrendering. Breakfast is rather limited, but fresh. Recommended for short stay.

I stayed at Aloft for three full days, being on a business trip to Brussels. Overall, I would give it 8 out of 10. The hotel met my expectations: staff (very helpful and very friendly), general atmosphere, etc. The breakfast was a bit on a savvy side, but I am not a breakfast person anyway. In-room internet was flawless. One thing which was a bit awkward was that I was given a room for disabled, with some minor differences in the bathroom; other than that it was all good.

This is a modern, very nice budget hotel. The rooms were surprisingly spacious. Broadband was relatively fast and I could finish off some work without much delay. I was upgraded and my room came with a Nespresso machine. The staff was very welcoming. The room could have been more quiet, I could hear my neighbour entering the room. However, it did not cause any sleepless night. A very minor note, the breakfast could have been slightly imporved. I am not very keen on thin, disposable egg cups. But... Read more

Solid hotel overall. The gym was a bit small, but as expected for an Aloft. Their breakfast was light, as expected for an Aloft, but had plentiful meats and pastries. Their coffee machine was decent (free with breakfast). As for the rooms, they meet the Aloft standard. Clean, decently spacious, and good views. Location-wise, if you're here for business, it's perfect. If you're here for leisure, the Sheraton I felt was closer to most of the attractions. It's walking distance to the museums, wh... Read more

I've stayed in quite a few different Brussels hotels and this one is one of the good ones. The rooms are large and comfortable, with good bathroom facilities. The foyer looks a bit funky and modern, with visiting art exhibits and DJ sets - a bit like a university student union building. In June on several occasions I spent some time in this hotel. Very spacious and clean rooms including bathrooms, very good mattresses and calm at night, friendly young staff, good breakfast for 12.50 EUR.
