I have stopped here a couple of times. We have driven from the ferry to Brugge, first time we found it very hard to find. The parking is a multistory in front of the hotel, I thought it was extremely good value for a weekend. The hotel is basic inside but has everything you need, it is an excellent price and a short walk to the center. You pay a lot more in Brugge and get some terrible, dirty hotels so we are sticking with this hotel for future visits.

Had a nice stay here with 3 bed room, one double bed with top bunk. Shower and sink in bedroom with separate room for toilet and also TV. ONE TIP:when leaving bruges central train station from the stairs turn left to exit through the main entrance then turn right. The hotel is just up the escalators over a carpark. Ask in station to make sure you are going the right way

I stayed here for 2 nights for a city break with my husband. The location was extremely good. It was a short walk to the city centre and the walk was a nice one - you could go through the park by the lake which was beautiful. I did not have breakfast at the hotel, it sounded quite expensive for a continental breakfast and there was a supermarket very close by that had a bakery so we figured we'd get breakfast at the supermarket instead. The room was quite basic and very small, but it was sp... Read more

We have visited Bruges for one day. The hotel is just behind the railway station, at the border of the old town area. The hotel is basic, but with enough space and a modern design. The staff is nice and helpful. We got our room even though we arrived much earlier than the check-in time. The room was clean and had a view of the railway station. I was afraid that I won't be able to sleep because of noise. But the isolation was perfect or maybe we were so tired that we didn't hear the noise made by... Read more

Very small room, only ok if you have few things with and it is summer. Breakfast is optional and poor, no Belgian waffles included, lots of bread an stuff. But location is quite good, not center, but station is near. Good access to everything.

This is the 2nd time I have stayed at this hotel. The hotel is located on the train station facing the car park which is a 15 minute pleasant walk into the town centre or a free short bus ride if you have parked the car on the park and ride car park (3.50 euros for 24 hours). The reception staff were very friendly and nice. The rooms are very basic but comfortable. The fans do not seem to be working in most of the bath rooms so not much fresh air enters the rooms which makes them smell slightly.... Read more

Tiny, tiny room with shower, sink and bed. Separate toilet - no lock. There were burns on the floor and a few holes in the curtain. But the bed was really comfortable, the shower was beautiful and hot and the staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment on that, but for just the room the value was incredible. We couldn't have gone to Bruges at all were it not for this hotel, and the walk to the squares through minnewater park was magical. Brilliant.

- The location is perfect! Just besides Brugge train station. Very convenient for me as I have a day trip to Ghent and Ostend. About 15-20 walk to main tourist attraction (you can also take a bus). - The room size is not a problem since I stayed alone (it's a room for two people). One little workdesk (joint with the sink in the opposite side), no wardrobe, just one shelf + few clothes-hanger, no hairdryer (you can borrow it at the reception but I bring mine). You can put the luggage under the b... Read more

V small room, v soft mattress. But central location, so convenient to walk into town. Parking is ‚?¨3.75 for 24 hours and adjacent to hotel. Problem is you don't find this place easily. They should invest in better signs. Staying in an IBIS Budget (formerly ETAP) is a bit like in a hospital, with all that linoleum on the floor. But you can't beat the price and know what you are getting for your money.

What a fantastic little budget hotel, the rooms are small and compact, but well designed. The beds are fantastically comfortable as standard with Ibis. The staff were friendly and helpful, the carpark is outside and cheap, you don't get a key but have to remember a number which is so much easier when wandering around the city. Breakfast is reasonable, the price of the rooms is reasonable and the location although not in the centre (you could not get this price in the centre) is easy walking d... Read more

It is good for what you pay. The rooms were clean and the service was ok. The toilet was very small but all was clean. The breakfast was also good, with a variety of food It was hard to find. You can park the car in the car park that is next to the station, that it is quite cheap

Clean, Affordable, Great Location in the station! A bit difficult to find in the first place, but just directly park your car in the garage. Value for money and recommended for a short stay in Brugge! Staffs were nice and helpful as well.

Good: As with all Ibis hotels the bed was comfortable. Good hot powerful shower. Location about 15 ‚?? 20 mins easy walk to the centre (Market Square). Bad: Being a BUDGET Ibis the rooms are very small and cramped ‚?? there is nowhere to put anything including a suitcase without tripping over it. Really only suitable for one night stay. Make sure you ask for a garden view ‚?? rooms facing the back brick wall are dark & we found the room full of mosquitoes - we had to change rooms. I... Read more

We were looking for a good value hotel with easy access to parking close to Bruges and the Ibis was exactly what we were after. We had realistic expectations having read the many helpful TripAdvisor reviews, so there were no surprises with the clean, compact, simple, well designed room that we were allocated. As others have indicated, the shower is a frosted cubicle within the room, with a separate washbasin and bench within the room. I guess the lack of privacy may be an issue for some, but w... The Hotel was clean and the Staff was very friendly and helpful. At first the Hotel was not easy to find due to lack of signage. Eventually we found it. The cost of Parking with ‚?¨ 3.50 a day is reasonable comparing with the general costs in Belgium. The rooms are small but have everything you need to have a good night sleep if you stay for one or two nights. If you like to stay longer in Bruges and look for comfort in a Hotel room than the Ibis Budget Hotel is not for you. The word Budget sa... Read more

The hotel itself is very clean and modern, Ibis is a common hotel brand across Europe. Breakfast was not included however it was near the train station which provided other restaurants such as subway, Starbucks, Pano, and Domino. There was also an "Express" convenience store which included a variety of groceries and also hygienic tools. In terms of the location it was not that central, its about a 20 minute walk to the city center. It is a beautiful walk though! Highly recommend walking up the 3... Read more

Well! If your bag is "people watching", then this is a great place to do it. It's cheap, central and accessible from the station car park (drive up to the upper level and park as near the staircase as you can). The population in the area is "interesting". Stand there long enough and you'll see every kind of person you could wish to, and, maybe one or two that you didn't! All that said, the room was clean, comfortable and equipped with a good shower (the sink is in the bedroom and the WC is separ... Read more

We were 4 in 2 rooms. Those were quite small, but cozy enough. Like you see in Scandinavia. But clean, breakfast ok. Hotel very close to public parking and what most important to city centre just by walking distance.

We stop at this Hotel when we drive from England to Germany. The rooms are clean and fresh looking. small sink area and toilet and shower. There is free wifi in the Hotel. We had breakfast once. ( extra charge) It was Ok but we chose not to have it again. The Hotel is right next to the train station, we did not hear any trains. There is a big car park and the parking is around 3 Euros for 24 hrs. When you show your parking ticket at the booth by the bus stop you get a free all day bus ticket. Al... Read more

Modern basic hotel 15 mins walk from centre of Brugge next to central station. Dificult to find as you have to enter the station car park and go to the first level before you can see the entrance which, to make matters worse is not well displayed. Once inside it is a modern hotel suitable for overnight stops. Everything works well but it is small and quite basic.

Good hotel and warm welcome by their staff. very positive is their public Parking. It charges only 3.50‚?¨ for 24hrs. and can park more than a week. City center is walkable. They do the breakfast 7.50 /p. It is a good budgetary hotel. I mean cheap and best.

Being away from the main city it was a bit cheaper than other hotels and hence was our choice. It is a clean hotel but rooms are a bit small. If you are looking for a hotel near Bruges train station, this is a good choice.

Excellent location for trains. A bit of a walk into the city, but that is reflected in the price. Standard room with shower. Very clean and comfortable bed. Good air conditioning.Free wi fi . Breakfast room is on 7th floor with stunning views. Breakfast choice was poor though. No hot food, poor coffee. Just lots of breads type offerings. The staff are very polite and helpful.
