This hotel is in such a great location! The staff were great! Cafe red rose was fabulous - great atmosphere & great beer. We found the cost reasonable for our stay especially considering the location. Everything is such a short walk from the hotel. The room was basic, no frills, but was clean and we were not in the room much to be honest so didn't matter. We loved Bruges! Thank you

I was there with my family. It was a nice stay in the hotel. The most important thing was, that I forgot my packages. Hotel management sent it back to me to Germany. I appreciated for this gentle behavior. You can drink excellent beer in the hotel cafeteria.Have a nice stay to everyone, who choose this hotel.

Great location. Room 39 is a good size but the bathroom is very narrow. If you are considered big or tall, it might be difficult to use. No elevator so if mobility is a problem, let them know so you can get a room on the ground floor. Our room was at the top of two flights of winding stairs. Also, if you want a hair dryer, ask at check-in. They will have it as well as the TV remote. Bed is comfortable, room is clean, wfi is strong. Not much of a place to unpack so, be willing to live out of your... Read more

What can I say? It was such a great to stay at this wonderful hotel! The moment we checked the staff was always there to help us! Whenever we asked for something e.g train schedule, a place to eat or a taxi, they were always very nice and polite. Breakfast is great and the rooms... Our room had a great view and it was very clean but don't forget to bring a hair drier with you. And saved the best for the last: the beer bar downstairs!!! A must try, very good choice if you are really tired of walk... Read more

The location was very good, just two blocks from the main market square, but still very quiet. It is an easy walk from the train station also. Room was on third floor, but staff offered to carry up the suitcase. For a person who can't speak Flemish, the staff were helpful and very fluent in English. The room was basic, but clean, and well lit by a good sized window. Also on site was a restaurant and bar, which has over 200 varieties of beer. Though I didn't partake of that, the breakfast was... Visited for two nights after having to cancel a night due to Belgium rail strike, hotel managers very understanding and made our amendment easy to do. Clean hotel with adequate facilities and very satisfactory wholesome breakfast. Superb location in a quiet street off the main square. Bar/cafe attached for numerous beers and wines. Hotel states no lift, but should also say stairs very difficult for people with walking difficulties. Very helpful friendly staff. Would recommend.

We chose this hotel for its central location, were delighted with everything about it. It's not luxurious, but for ?40 a night bed and breakfast, it offers excellent value. And what a breakfast! Best buffet ever, hot and cold choices, yoghurt and fruit, food freshly prepared and plenty of it. A stone's throw from the centre, comfortable beds, clean room and good shower. Thought the bar might be noisy but no disturbance at all, and it closes at around 11.30pm. Staff pleasant and helpful. No n... Read more

Chose the hotel for its central yet slightly off the main drag location and for the wonderful beers served in the Rose Red Cafe attached. Bedroom was on the ground floor, quiet but relatively small as additional single bed crammed in and rather quirky - curtain instead of a door to the bathroom and curtain across the front of the wardrobe. Room was clean but would have been nice to have some facility to make tea/coffee though this does seem to be a rarity in Belgium. Breakfast OK but a wider var... Read more

What a fantastic find. Friendly and helpful staff, clean and classic Bruges rooms, delicious breakfast included, and the great beer at the on-site Cafe Rose Red. Definitely the best value and charm of our 5 city European trip. Two days was not enough!

This is very close to the heart of Brugge, the market square and lots of beautiful buildings. The room was clean and cosy. Not much room for two people really but depends what you need. We found it a bit small but very friendly staff and a nice place overall. Breakfast was satisfying.

We loved staying at the hotel. Even though the rooms were small, they were clean and welcoming. Daily maid service was so much appreciated! The hotel staff is the most accommodating, welcoming, and efficient! Breakfast was amazing as far as food quality and selection. Hotel location made it easily accessible to all the city highlights. Thank you very much!

Positives: Clean, basic, very small rooms, friendly and helpful staff, as well as fellow hotel guests, made this a pleasant stay. It is located close to all the sites, but is 2 blocks off the Markt on a quiet street and for a reasonable rate. Nice breakfast buffet served in adjacent Cafe Rose Red. Reasonable rates. Negatives: No elevator or AC. Carpet on stairwell starting to really show some wear and gives an initial bad impression. Sounds in hallways can clearly be heard through the door so b... Read more

We really loved this hotel, a 2 minute walk off the main square and so close to every attraction. Room was small but more than comfortable and was cleaned daily. Breakfast was lovely, with a good selection for all tastes. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Highly recommended for visitors

We had a small, but clean room. The bed was very low - almost like the mattress was on the floor. We could hear everything from the rooms around us and from the hallway - so not much privacy. The people who worked there were very nice and helpful. We moved to another hotel the next night which was much more centrally located.

We needed a stopover hotel in Bruges and this was perfect. Parked up in one of the cities underground carpark 150m away and walked the short distance to the hotel to checkin, drop our bags before exploring the place on foot. Friendly staff, basic but functional rooms and a nice fresh breakfast in a cool setting. The cafe/bar that shares the downstairs is also a lovely place to finish the days exploring with a drink before bed.

With friends we stayed 2 nights in this hotel on a perfect location in the middle of city, near the big square. About everything is fine execept for the space within the hotel. It was really too small. The badroom with the toilet was not ok for a person of my lenght (192). The same goes for the stairs. It's quite tricky to take the stairs and not bump your head to the sealing. But further the personnel was great, the bar was very nice and the beer can'nt be better.

Wasn't expecting too much due to the low price and it being two star, however was very pleasantly surprised! Hotel is very clean and well decorated. The room we were in wasn't huge but for sleeping in it was perfect, beds were comfortable and clean, and the bathroom was small but okay sized, also very clean! On top of that the staff were all so happy and friendly, and very helpful, the guy qt the front desk when we checked in even helped us carry bags up the stairs! Breakfast was great, with a b... The hotel has a great location. Only a 2 minute walk to the market square, the Belfry and Historium. The room was clean but basic and the bed was especially comfortable. The coffee at breakfast was very tasty.

I really loved this hotel. Very well located and even though there's a bar at night, you'll hear nothing. Bruges is one of the most beautiful cities I've ever been to, and this hotel is an excellent option to go within budget. Restaurants are also close to the area, so there's really not much more to ask.

Bruges was our final destination on a cycling trip from Kent and we wanted something very central with bike storage facilities. Rooms might have been snug but you couldn't fault the location and the hotel was full of personality. Sold good beers and the breakfast was very filling bearing in mind we were cycling back to Dunkirk. We didn't eat there outside of that. Small courtyard where the bikes were safely stored and a warm atmosphere in the bar and dining area. The Hotel was less than two min... Read more

I stayed here overnight with my 14 year old son in a double room on the first floor. The location of this hotel is perfect...only a couple of streets away from the main Market square and the Burg square... Ideally situated to get you to all the main attractions within a couple of minutes walk. The room was dated and tired, but all in all the bedding was clean, the room was clean and it was completely suitable for our requirements. We did not use the bar that is part of the hotel, but it was bu... Read more

Walking distance from bruge centrum. clean and small cozy rooms. Breakfast was decent and staff was also polite and helpful. Our room had the view of the belfry tower as well. Would recommend this place if you are looking for something not very expensive and walking distance from all the attractions.

We stayed at the Cordoeanier Hotel, which was very central, very clean and the staff were very helpful. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone staying in Bruge and would go back again. Bruge is a lovely city to visit with loads to do and beautiful restaurants. The Belfry was the highlight of my visit with it 366 steps - well worth the climb.

Hotel was central and bang in the middle of everything. Nice ambiance in the public areas. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Bar and cafe were excellent with a good clientele and very lively after dark. Breakfast was excellent. Room basic but clean and tidy. Car park was too far away.
