It's a simple hotel incredibly close to the centrum. Friendly staff en good breakfast. For anyone with a low budget i recommend this. The rooms are cozy and warm. The only negative thing was that you can hear everything at night. The bathroom is spacious and clean.

I stayed here with my boyfriend for 4 nights, It was a cozy and okay hotel. For the cheap price and close distance to the centrum i would advice this to any traveler who's looking for something cheap and okay looking. The staff was nice and the breakfast buffet was just enough to fill you up for a journey in this beautiful city. The only negative of this hotel is that you can hear everything, the neighbors, the room cleaner and the people walking. Bathroom is big and has everything you need

The hotel was very close to the main square and all impotrant sights of the city. It is sourounded by restaurants and bars. The hotel service was very good and helpful. Breakfast was classic buffet with cold and warm servings. Bus stop is close by and I recommend using the bus to get to the train station cause draging a suitcase on sidewalks was no fun.

The hotel is in a great location just off Markt, the main square in Bruges. Close enough to be within a couple of minutes walking distance but without the hustle and bustle on the doorstep which was nice. The rooms were clean and cosy but definitely spacious enough. The staff were all very friendly and spoke perfect English, and went above and beyond to help us when we had a few questions about the city and sights to see. They even lent us an umbrella when it was raining! All in all I would def... Read more

The hans memling hotel has a perfect location ! a great service ! a delicious breakfast !! suitable for friends families or business !! To notice, the reception (front door) closes at 8 PM and you have to take the back door to enter the hotel.

the position of this hotel is great that is only 2 steps away from the Markt plaza. The staff is friendly, and the wifi is fast as the rocket! Room is a bit small, but the size of hotel rooms is never a major problem for us as long as it is kept nice and clean which is exactly how the room we had in this hotel. Breakfast is better than what we expected, so it's a nice surprise for us. All in all, I think it's a great hotel in all aspects with a reasonable price. Recommend it to everyone!

We stayed here for one night with friends. The hotel is very close to the centre which is the biggest plus, on the negative side we were kept up most of the night because of celebrations outside, it wasn't the hotels fault but better double glazing would help! The other thing that kept up awake were the floor boards, my God, sort them out we could hear every footstep of the room next door and above - take ear plugs!! The hotel was clean and the bedding and towels were fine. However the bed was ... Read more

This hotel is amazingly close to the centre. Even late shop is 4 minutes walk from the place. Rooms are small but clean and I would say comfortably nice. In my arrival I was greeted by very nice, polite and friendly lady. She showed me around, explained some rules, explained breakfast and offer help if I'd need anything else. During the stay all members of staff were very nice and helpful UNTIL last day and checking off... Some man was sitting at the reception and oh my he was so rude. I never e... Read more

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at this hotel. The hotel is situated within 2 minutes walk of the City centre shops and all attractions. The hotel was clean and tidy, with a good breakfast included in the price, the only problem was that if you had a street facing room was the noise at night, the night lover's were going home via the hotel, and you knew it, very noisy, preventing a good nights sleep. No car parking facilities, had to leave it in city car park 8;70 Euro's for 24 hours. ... Read more

My brother and I stayed in a twin room at the Hans Memling Hotel in mid-May 2016 for three nights in Bruges after visiting Brussels. The Hans Memling Hotel sits in the centre of Bruges old town less than a five minute walk from the beautiful Grote Markt or market place. The streets around the hotel are quaint and filled with some gorgeous old buildings. Across the street from the main entrance is Le Trappiste which serves a fantastic selection of traditional Belgian beers. We stayed in a cor... Read more

Quite spontanious choose to travel to Brugge and found this hotel. It looks very nice from the outside as well as the entrance area does. When you get closer to the rooms you start to wonder if you got in a different building, but no you didnt and start to realize there has been not much effort taken to make the hallways and rooms look nice and modern. In this sense the room was quite outmoded and you feel thrown back into the late 80s. The hotel is very clairaudient but its bearable. Howeve... Read more

This hotel had a great location but being so central meant it was noisey at night with motorbikes zipping up & down the road and people sitting outside the bar opposite making loads of racket. We were on the third floor, which was boiling hot so we needed the windows open. The reception/welcome was good and breakfast was a buffet which was pretty good. Overall it was ok for a short break but not for a long stay.

Good location but that's the only good thing I can say. We stayed for two nights and didn't sleep at all..... Terrible beds the noise with or without the window open was unbearable and as there wasn't any aircon with the windows closed it was like a sauna. Small and dated room. Brugge is beautiful and we will definitely be returning but not to this hotel!!!

Positives: Great location, big and varied breakfast, big rooms, feels safe, clean Negatives: The road next to the hotel is very big and therefore noisy, even at night. There's a bar very close by that keeps the party going all night on the weekends which you can also hear. Would stay again due to location and breakfast.

The room was certainly not elegant, but it was clean, and everything worked well. The bed was comfortable and firm, which I like. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The hotel is very centrally located and within walking distance of all attractions, restaurants, shops, museums, monuments, etc. Unfortunately, there were shouting morons in the street below into the early morning hours, which was much worse than the occasional motorbike or yapping dog out for a walk. There is no A/C, so if you want ... Read more

Stayed 2 nights at the hotel, very central location, few minutes walk from most attractions in Bruges. Very friendly staff, provide you with maps, directions, and a discount card to use when paying for attractions entrance fees. They have late check in procedures. A recommended budget hotel (Y)

A lovely small hotel just steps from the main square, clean and well maintained, friendly staff. If you came by car there is secure underground parking ( not theirs) 2mins away (9 euro = 24hours ) while it is central and there are cafes in the street it proved to be a quiet location at night., excellent breakfast , and it has an elevator.. donā??t laugh.. wait till you get a 5 story walk-up with 400 year old stairs! Would come here again.

Stayed here when following Leicester City. Location is absolutely ideal, just a 2 min walk from the main square. Rooms are simple and clean, it was a hot day though and there was no aircondtioning. Bathroom was clean and modern. We didn't have breakfast as the choice of eateries close by is huge. The staff speak excellent English and were friendly and helpful. Overall the best reason to select this hotel is the central location in this beautiful city.

Hans Memling Hotel is just a 2min walk from the Belfort Tower, perfectly positioned to explore Brugge by foot. But that's the only positive thing I can say. Our room was dirty, everything was covered with dust, cables hung out the wall and within the first couple of minutes in the room I had to kill two spiders each as large as a hand. Next door to the hotel is a bar which plays terribly loud music all night. I went to bed at 2am and was woken up several times thereafter by loud DJ announcements... Read more

We drove to Bruges, parked at the station and enjoyed the walk to the hotel. Into the hotel, we were greeted warmly, went through the usual formalities and went to our rooms. We were a group of 4 men and took 2 rooms. One room, at the top, was a perfectly decent twin with en suite. There was a nice view and although the room wasn't the biggest, it was well priced, clean and above all, central. The other room was a fantastic family. Once again it was en suite, clean and absolutely huge. We could ... Read more

Centrally located hotel. This is the 2nd time we have stayed here. Floors are a bit creaky and the walls are thin, so you can hear what everyone else in the surrounding rooms is getting up to. Luckily it was fairly quiet when we visited. Parking is an issue. There is pay parking in an underground car park around the corner

This hotel is brilliantly located just 2 minutes walk away from the market square , staff were very friendly. although their English was limited. As is the modern trend lighting in the room was poor needed all the lights on to get decent illumination . Wardobe had clearly seen better days sliding dooor.very difficult to move we compromised by leaving it open all the time !
