We made a short trip from Paris with our children and grand daughter to spend the night and visit the city. The weather for me was horrible. It didn't help that I had a cold. However, the staff at the hotel could not have been any better. The rooms were very nice and clean. The breakfast was much more than expected. I highly recommend this hotel for the staff and location if nothing else.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for two nights during our recent northern Europe road trip. The hotel was very nice, had parking (for a small additional fee), had an inside pool which we enjoyed to refresh ourselves after our travel/sightseeing (although it was small), and had a good breakfast. The key thing about this hotel, though, is the location - in the old inner city a stone's throw from one of the canal and an easy walk to all the attractions! I would highly recommend the Flande... Centrally located, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are light, bright and spacious. with lovely bathrooms. The Breakfast is excellent with both hot and cold selections to set you up for the day's sightseeing. Nothing is too much trouble for the Staff to help make your stay enjoyable. Great Car Park and on check out day, you may leave the car until 1pm, which enables some more sightseeing. We are looking forward to returning to the Flanders in August.

Nice hotel, great cocktail bar, centrally located. Very clean rooms and lovely bathroom. Friendly people at the reception. Breakfast was great! If I would visit Brugge again, I would certainly stay over in this hotel again.

We stayed for two nights in Flanders Hotel. It was a very pleasant stay. The hotel located centrally, it makes easy to explore the city. From hotel to Markt takes 3-4 minutes by walking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They were make reservations at restaurants and at other places for us. The breakfast is excellent with both hot and cold selections. The hotel provided us with a good map. Great car park and on check out day, you may leave the car until 1pm, which enables some more sight... Read more

This hotel was very good, rooms were comfortable, breakfast offered was excellent Only gripe would be it was very warm and we needed to open the windows! Lots of noise from the bar downstairs which stays open until 1a.m. Would recommend staying at the back of the hotel, our rooms were directly over the bar area! nor 20 and 21.

The hotel is in the perfect location - just a 3-5 minute walk to the main center, but just far enough out that you aren't bombarded with bus tour groups right outside your door. Close to many fun bars and restaurants too. The hotel happy hour from 4:30-5:30 also is not to be missed (you'll see the locals taking advantage of the great drinks too!). The staff also was great - very attentive and helpful. The rooms are spacious, with nice bathrooms. My only complaint is that our beds were very hard,... Read more

Great location within easy walk of the centre. Lovely breakfast with good selection of bread, cold meats and cheeses. Hot buffet options available too. Kids loved the toast yourself waffles and syrup! And of course the free wifi. The pool was an added bonus. Staff very helpful and friendly.

This was a great hotel to stay at with many super points. However it was let down by a few small points. The swimming pool is far too small and looks to be in the process of being refurbished. We were also given a room which had a shower over the bath. This was not ideal for a hotel of this standard. However after asking about this, one of the 4 rooms with walk in showers became available and this was no trouble for the hotel to arrange for us to be moved. The decor of the hotel is good and br... Lovely hotel, great location in historic bruges, very short walk to all major attractions, friendly and helpful staff, spotlessly clean rooms, nice bar area with happy hour from 4.30-5.30, great breakfast with plenty variety. There was a group of 7 of us and we stayed in 3 rooms; 010 (club room ) and 011 (triple room) on ground floor.. And a standard double on first floor. The ground floor rooms were brighter, more spacious and modern, with fabulous rain showers.. In my opinion worth paying the ... Read more

Stayed here for 3 nights with our friends both couples booking club rooms, room sizes and layout were more than adequate for our short city break. Reception staff were always friendly and able to help with any enquiry. Pool is a little on the small size, adequate for 2 to 3 people at the most but still nice to be able to take a short swim after a busy day sightseeing. Hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the central square so ideally located.

We chose to stay here again having stayed previously for a few days. Yet again we found the hotel to be very clean & comfortable with good sized room & bathroom. Staff were friendly & helpful. Good choice of food available for breakfast, but disappointed that tinned fruit was offered instead of fresh chopped fruit. Hotel is well placed for exploring Bruges on foot as once arrived the car can be left in car park until day of departure. We requested to leave our car in carpark until 16.00 as ... Read more

We stayed here last week for two nights on our way back to the UK via the Hull/Zeebrugge ferry and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The hotel is clean, comfortable with friendly welcoming staff and all the sights we wanted to see and/or experience in Bruges were all within fairly easy walking distance. It's always good to have free WiFi and it worked well. A nice experience and would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

This hotel offered a room with 4 beds for the teenagers and a double for us. Finding such a set up is usually difficult. The location, on site car park (ā?¬14) and amazing breakfast are what made this hotel great. The rooms were clean, beds super and linen was of high quality. Bathrooms were good with plenty of towels and hand towels. The swimming pool isn't that big but was enjoyable for playing about in. The hotels location meant walking to the historic centre along the canals was one of the ... Read more

We spend a weekend in Bruges in the Flanders Hotel. The hotel is very well located, within 5 minutes walk to the markt. The rooms are clean and comfortable. It was very quiet to have a good night rest. Breakfast is rather standard but good. And most importantly, the staff is friendly and very helpful.

Lovely hotel with all you need - the staff were helpful, the restuarant and bar excellent and the room was pleasantly decorated with all the little luxuries you need. Off-street parking is a bonus and a small swimming pool too. Perfect location for site-seeing. Enjoyed our one night stay last Sunday and so impressed, will be returning in August for a weekend break.

We spend 2 nights at this Hotel. 2 pers room + 3 young-adults-teenagers in separete room. Both where nice and clean. The one for the 3 was very big; not just a bed added between existing one like in other accomodations. The staff was very helpful!

As a couple, we chose Flanders hotel from a selection. We weren't disappointed - the description is very accurate. Conveniently located within walking distance of everything! The staff were very welcoming, helpful and polite, nothing was too much trouble. We would definitely stay there again if we return to Bruges.

Arrived at 9.30pm, mark on reception was very pleasant, and helpful, our key card did not work, but he got it sorted. He gave all the information that we needed. Our room was wonderful, comfy bed and beautiful bathroom, plenty of hot water. The hairdryer is good in the bathroom. Tea and coffee in room and biscuits, and mini fridge, it was stocked but we didn't use, although the prices were reasonable. Breakfast was nice, something for everyone good choices, but small plates. We went to the bar at this hotel to have a drink. To our surprise we were shocked with the waitress' very rude and extremely unfriendly attitude. The lady was very uninviting and extremely rude to the clients. I think this is an extreme shame since the place seemed quite nice. As we were surprised with the rude and impolite attitude we left shortly after our arrival in shock. Horrible experience and will never return.

We spent 1 night in this hotel. At arrival, we had a very friendly welcome at the reception, with immediately a lot of information about do's and don'ts in Bruges. The passage to our room gave an 'old style' impression, unlike the room which was excellent. The breakfast showed a large variety of items, taken care of down to the last detail. Our next stop in Bruges will be again in this hotel.

We visit this hotel every year. We love the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness of the rooms and the relaxing bar area especially the outside area. It's great to be able to leave the car for a few days and take the short still into the centre.

The place is amazing, the staff was really helpful!! Especially Manoe (I hope I get the name right!) She explained everything, was really nice to us and gave us very good tips! The breakfast was delicious. The room was super clean and really beautiful (just no air conditioning, no problem for us but maybe for others). We enjoyed everything in Bruges.
