We made a short trip from Paris with our children and grand daughter to spend the night and visit the city. The weather for me was horrible. It didn't help that I had a cold. However, the staff at the hotel could not have been any better. The rooms were very nice and clean. The breakfast was much more than expected. I highly recommend this hotel for the staff and location if nothing else.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for two nights during our recent northern Europe road trip. The hotel was very nice, had parking (for a small additional fee), had an inside pool which we enjoyed to refresh ourselves after our travel/sightseeing (although it was small), and had a good breakfast. The key thing about this hotel, though, is the location - in the old inner city a stone's throw from one of the canal and an easy walk to all the attractions! I would highly recommend the Flande... Centrally located, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are light, bright and spacious. with lovely bathrooms. The Breakfast is excellent with both hot and cold selections to set you up for the day's sightseeing. Nothing is too much trouble for the Staff to help make your stay enjoyable. Great Car Park and on check out day, you may leave the car until 1pm, which enables some more sightseeing. We are looking forward to returning to the Flanders in August.

This hotel was very good, rooms were comfortable, breakfast offered was excellent Only gripe would be it was very warm and we needed to open the windows! Lots of noise from the bar downstairs which stays open until 1a.m. Would recommend staying at the back of the hotel, our rooms were directly over the bar area! nor 20 and 21.

The hotel is in the perfect location - just a 3-5 minute walk to the main center, but just far enough out that you aren't bombarded with bus tour groups right outside your door. Close to many fun bars and restaurants too. The hotel happy hour from 4:30-5:30 also is not to be missed (you'll see the locals taking advantage of the great drinks too!). The staff also was great - very attentive and helpful. The rooms are spacious, with nice bathrooms. My only complaint is that our beds were very hard,... Read more

This was a great hotel to stay at with many super points. However it was let down by a few small points. The swimming pool is far too small and looks to be in the process of being refurbished. We were also given a room which had a shower over the bath. This was not ideal for a hotel of this standard. However after asking about this, one of the 4 rooms with walk in showers became available and this was no trouble for the hotel to arrange for us to be moved. The decor of the hotel is good and br... Lovely hotel, great location in historic bruges, very short walk to all major attractions, friendly and helpful staff, spotlessly clean rooms, nice bar area with happy hour from 4.30-5.30, great breakfast with plenty variety. There was a group of 7 of us and we stayed in 3 rooms; 010 (club room ) and 011 (triple room) on ground floor.. And a standard double on first floor. Stayed here for 3 nights with our friends both couples booking club rooms, room sizes and layout were more than adequate for our short city break. Reception staff were always friendly and able to help with any enquiry. Pool is a little on the small size, adequate for 2 to 3 people at the most but still nice to be able to take a short swim after a busy day sightseeing. Hotel is a 5-10 minute walk from the central square so ideally located.

Good choice of food available for breakfast, but disappointed that tinned fruit was offered instead of fresh chopped fruit. We stayed here last week for two nights on our way back to the UK via the Hull/Zeebrugge ferry and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It's always good to have free WiFi and it worked well. A nice experience and would not hesitate to recommend to friends and family.

The location, on site car park (‚?¨14) and amazing breakfast are what made this hotel great. The rooms were clean, beds super and linen was of high quality. We went to the bar at this hotel to have a drink. To our surprise we were shocked with the waitress' very rude and extremely unfriendly attitude. The lady was very uninviting and extremely rude to the clients. I think this is an extreme shame since the place seemed quite nice. As we were surprised with the rude and impolite attitude we left shortly after our arrival in shock. Horrible experience and will never return.

We spent 1 night in this hotel. At arrival, we had a very friendly welcome at the reception, with immediately a lot of information about do's and don'ts in Bruges. The passage to our room gave an 'old style' impression, unlike the room which was excellent. The breakfast showed a large variety of items, taken care of down to the last detail. Our next stop in Bruges will be again in this hotel.

Nice and quiet hotel. It was a pitty that although it is stating that the hotelbar is open until 01.00 we found the bar closed at 0.15 at 2 evenings. Very comfortabele big room, good bed, clean, nice bar and garden. Great breakfast with several types of bread, good coffee, fruit, local backed pastry. Above all, very friendly staff. Perfect location in a quiet area, yet close to city center.

Great location with friendly staff. Rooms were spacious and the bed was large and comfy. Only had breakfast one morning, good selection. The bar was very nice and welcoming, especially after a long day of sightseeing.

Highlights would be location, price, and standard of the rooms. It's a 5 minute walk to get to the main square, but being that bit out you have parking if you need it. I thought the price was fair, we went for a club room and you get a good room for the price, with a decent shower, comfortable bed, mini bar etc. I'd definitely go back. My only advice would be to improve the speed of service in the bar. On a winters evening, the bar is enticing with the roaring fire. But the bar man wasn't the ... Read more

The hotel staff were all friendly....very helpful receptionists....always with a smile...excellent room...maid service every day....fluffy clean white towels... and a comfy bad.....we had the family room....breakfast to die for.....would highly recommend for a city break. We were able to park our car in the hotels car park....recommend you book a space prior to arrival. The swimming pool kept my daughter and husband entertained while I put my feet up.

Our experience with your staff on booking was really great - lots of advice on where to go and what to do in Brugge. It was a great start to our holiday. We loved our room for down time after long bouts of sightseeing in this beautiful city. We would love to return.

We stayed at the Flanders for a quick two night stay in Bruges. The service was good and the reception staff very friendly. Great price for the rooms, breakfast was limited and a little pricey. Overall a good stay

Stayed for 3 nights in the Flanders Hotel. Fantastic experience. Excellent facilities including a swimming pool. Breakfast was excellent. Hotel staff were friendly, polite and gave us very useful tips on places to see/restaurants. The hotel has a very nice bar with wide variety of Belgian beers. Very relaxed atmosphere. A clean, comfortable and stylish hotel which I would thoroughly recommend to anyone. It is a very short walk from the centre of Bruges (5 mins) and is very reasonably priced. I w... Read more

The hotel is well managed and welcoming and all areas are well presented. The rooms are comfortable and a good size with excellent beds. The buffet breakfast offering is excellent quality with a broad range of foods. The bar area is quite contemporary with a good vibe and we especially enjoyed 'Happy Hour' between 4.30pm & 5.30pm, when selected drinks are half price...nice touch!

Stayed 4 days and loved the hotel. Initial problem locating hotel but once there found everything to our liking. The Hotel is a spotlessly clean and relaxing environment. Decor is very 'swish' and the bar area was also a gem!. Surprise being 4.30pm thru 5.30pm a daily happy hour with some drinks half price. Breakfast was exceptionally good with a varied hot dishes selection as well as the usual continental arrangement. Our room was cleaned daily and fresh towels each day were supplied (somet... This hotel is an excellent choice to explore Bruges. We stayed for two nights in two different rooms. The standard room was comfortable and the premium room had a great view of the roof tops of Bruges. Breakfast was outstanding and the staff at the front desk was very helpful. Take a taxi from the train station to the hotel. Walking to the hotel is possible, but dragging suitcases would not be enjoyable or practical. The hotel is very well situated so one can enjoy late night walks along the can... Read more

Just returned from a wonderful three night stay in Flanders Hotel we were three in number so had a large bright triple room with tea making facility and mini bar, the room was spotless and clean towels every day, there is a small pool which we did not find time ro use, breakfast is very good lots of choice, but in my opinion the hotels main asset is its staff who go above and beyond to be of help from supplying umbrellas in the rain to printing boarding pass, the location of this hotel is very g... Extremely friendly staff especially the bartender Elizabeth, loved our room and the breakfast. We always stay in this hotel when visiting Bruges, can't fault it! My father has stayed here so many times that the staff always recognise us when we return, the very central location is handy too.

Stayed at The Flanders Hotel in Bruges for two nights. The Hotel is well situated - close to all the attractions but far enough away to be quiet. The Hotel is modern and the staff first class. The Hotel has a small pool , which is very welcome after walking for hours around the town. The Bar is very good and I can recommend the happy hour. We did not use the breakfast room but most people we talked to said it was really good. The bedrooms are very comfortable and well equipped. There are many ho... Read more

We stayed for just one night, staff are friendly and helpful. The room we had was very nice and the bed was comfy too. There is a mini bar in room and prices are ok for drinks. The only this which was a slight let down was with the breakfast. The breakfast itself is good with a large variety of continental breads and cheese/ham etc, they also had scrambled egg, bacon and sausages, but I was looking forward to a nice cup of hit chocolate but the drink machine seemed to just pump out Luke warm mil...
