This hotel was great! It was ideally located in the center of town, close to the magnificent cathedral, and within walking distance of most tourist sites. The rooms were large, and the bathroom was more American than European, with plenty of shelf space for toiletries, and plenty of room. My only complaint was that the breakfast buffet was not quite as nice as I would have liked.

Spent 4 days at this hotel and it really is the perfect location... In the heart of the old town..Beer festival was in full swing outside in the square... Plenty of nice restaurants and bars... Great for shopping!!! Esp if your looking for a nice diamond ring... Contact Charles @ ajediam you won't be disappointed... I loved the area this hotel was in. Lots of places to eat and have a drink and only around 15 mins walk to train station. Hotel was a bit disappointing. Room was nice enough but pillows were not comfortable. The wifi was a nightmare! Also tried to ring reception and the 3 phones in my room didn't work most of the time. 1 worked once but that was it. Amazing place: rooms, breakfast to enjoy, service, location, restaurant to visit... The only thing inside you feel a little irritating is just 2 elevators to go up and down. But the rest....Step out of the hotel and the whole old town at your feet with a shopping street nearby. Real pleasure to stay and enjoy.

The Hilton Antwerp Old Town's location was perfect. There was plenty of parking all of the sights were well within walking distance. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very accommodating. I required access to a pharmacy, they made sure I had the directions to the closet available one that was on after hours status. The kids enjoyed to pool as well as the morning buffet.

Before I arrived I would like to arrange a car and sent email to concierge and no one replied until I said "it's urgent" on the email title. Great place in terms of location. I participated on a seminar for 3 days. The event area was good, the food and service was not up to scratch. Not enough, cold at times, too late, ... The rooms are not Hilton worthy from my point of view - they look and feel old. Room seize is ok. The 'smell' in the corridors on the 3rd floor is bad. How can this be possible for such a hotel????? We stayed in August, 2 rooms for 3 nights. We upgraded to the junior suite and an executive twin room. This meant we could have breakfast in the quieter executive lounge and also free drinks and snacks throughout the day and evening. Our junior suite was lovely, I would have preferred Windows that opened more but it was a quiet room with plenty of space. The hotel itself is situated virtually a stones throw from the cathedral of our lady which is a must see. (Although you have to pay for entranc... Read more

Was there for two nights this week. Really handy spot. Walked there from the railway station - just over a mile. Very comfortable with a terrace on the fifth floor that looks out on the Cathedral. Nice bar for a beer before heading out. They also served HP sauce at breakfast which is a real winner.

The hotel is stylish and quite large. The check in process is straightforward and you are made to feel welcome on arrival. The rooms are quite a long walk from reception and, in fact, depending on where your room is, a long walk from the lift. The bed was comfortable and amenities in the room were good, but the rooms themselves were quite old and therefore you could here other room occupants, particularly when they were closing the room doors! Unlike mass market Hiltons, many of which are cookie-cutter and boring, the Hilton Antwerp Old Town is special. It is located in the absolute center of everything, and within walking distance of everywhere you need to be. We had reserved an Executive room, with access to the lounge. The lounge was just OK: the food presentations were odd and the staff was less than competent, but the attached outdoor terrace with an amazing view of the Old Town and nearby cathedral, compensated for any short... Although I booked 2 deluxe twin rooms, we only received 1 deluxe twin and 1 standard double with 1 double bed. Good and diversified breakfastbuffet. The brasserie Flo is also of good quality. Friendly and helpful staff. The hotel has only 2 lifts. As a result, one must go through many corridors if your room is situated at the end of the floor and on the other side of the lifts.

My husband and I stayed here for my birthday this year. The location is great but thats about it. It really wasn't what I was expecting. There are much better hotels in Antwerp for half the price. It was a really basic room, rubbish view. You have to pay for WIFI or join their 'club' for free WIFI, which we did, but it still didn't work. We stayed three nights at the Hilton Hotel as we made a city break to Antwerp. The location of the hotel is very good, just at the heart of a lively and beautiful city as Antwerp. The decoration of the hotel and the rooms is somewhat dated but I suppose it has to do with the fact it wants to keep the style of earlier days? The breakfast buffet is very good, there is a lot of choice, but I missed a little explanation the first morning at breakfast, so you would know where to find everything a... Read more

Having stayed at the Hilton before, and been impressed with the service at the hotel, we returned for a second visit this year. Sadly the Brasserie does not live up to the repuation of the hotel. Although the buffet was beautifully presented with plenty of choices, the abruptness of the host when dealing with customers combined with the price tag did not match up to the 4 star of the hotel. This also became very apparent when the place turns in to a bar at night. I don't think in all the years o... Read more

OK, let's start from the beginning... The hotel is not properly cheap, but you would expect that from a Hilton, meaning that you'd expect a little bit more for your money. There's no parking available, and the closest around costs 20? a day given the location. When we arrived at the room, there was 2 hand towels in the floor dirty and the water bottle at the minibar unsealed.
