Out of the airport into a taxi and straight to our accommodation. What a great star to a stress free break Note airport taxis prices are regulated prices for different parts of the island and your return journey through a independent taxi will be more expensive. We arrived roughly about 8 in the evening and where met by the night porter who took our information quickly and efficenttaley and showed us to our upstairs room number 13 overlooking the pool. Lovely room with seating area and ... Read more

This was our second visit to the Sunset Crest area of Holetown which is a friendly and relaxed area. The Traveller's Palm is around 30 mins in a taxi from the airport, the accommodation is clean and reasonably priced. The one bed apartments are spacious for two people and fairly well equipped. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the bar staff accommodating and chatty even when we arrived late evening. We really enjoyed our stay, the pool and gardens are well maintained and you can walk i... Read more

First time in Barbados and this is a nice little spot. Stayed for a week there, room was absolutely fine, had room 3 near the pool. All staff were good, food at the bar is good. Location wise its a 5 min stroll down to the main road, where you can get buses up and down the coast for $2 Barbados dollars. Not sure if I would return as would like to try other places up the coast.

This hotel is very good value for money it is an ideal base to explore the surrounding area . Staff are very friendly and helpful and can help you out with just about anything . Apartments are clean and well equipped pool is great. Only slight problem is on google maps it shows this hotel very close to beach. It is actually a 10 minute walk away but only 5 mins walk away from bus stops would definitely revisit.

Great little budget place to stay with kitchen so if you want you can cook your own food as I did except for 2 nights, saved me loads, which was instead spent on Banks beer and Mango daiquiri 's at the beachside bar about 5 min walk away. Good selection of bars and restaurants just down the road and much quieter than the south, although if that's what you want only a $2 bus ride. People at apartments very friendly and will either leave you to your own devices or pamper you for whatever you want,... Read more

The Travellers Palm is quite a small hotel with a small pool, but if you're looking to go to the beaches in Barbados then this isn't an issue at all. The room has a kitchen area which includes a fridge/freezer, oven etc so we went to the local supermarket, which was a 10-15 minute walk and made meals at home for the majority of our stay. If you fancy eating out, there is a grill restaurant just down the road which does excellent food at a good price - make sure you try the rum punch - delectable... Read more

This was a very friendly place to start our holiday in Barbados. Make sure you tell the taxi driver its in Suncrest, not Holetown. A 5 minute walk to us, $10 to them! Anyway, this small hotel is set up as 1 bedroom apartments on 2 levels, you either get a small terrace or balcony off your living room. There was also a small kitchen with fridge freezer and hob. The bedroom was large and spacious, with a walk in cupboard where the safe is kept. You need to pay extra for the safe bolt from recept... Read more

Great self catering apartments , 15 minutes from the most beautiful beach on the planet! 15 minutes from the great range of shops and restaurants . Apartments very big , kitchen idea for making most things, good size fridge freezer. Lounge decent size with a double sofa bed, bedroom large with walk in wardrobe , bathroom nice good shower, tv with us channels . Nice pool basic sun loungers but fine.

It was my second stay in the hotel and I'll come back for sure. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood area in Holetown; a short walk away from the beach, restaurants, the supermarket and the bus stop. The rooms are spacious and clean. A kitchen and a big fridge are available. The balcony is quite big and a pool is available as well. The restaurant serves great food. All of the staff is really friendly and helpful. The hotel makes a lot of your holiday. To stay here is always a pleas... Read more

Had 3 days self catering. Reception is at back of hotel so a few steps to negotiate with baggage and then back down to apartment. We arrived in the evening and found the shop very poorly stocked no coffee milk or bread. Check in was easy and apartment had everything needed including full sized cooker and fridge freezer cutlery and crockery. Restaurant and bar is run by Ian - he is a wonderful cook. The food we had here was amazing - tasty and well served. Apartments would benefit from some decor... Read more

I have stayed in the Holetown area before and fell in love with the area (mainly as its close to the beach and local supermarket), decided to book Travellers Palm apartments and wasn't disappointed. The apartment was on the ground floor (really handy!) a good size, clean and in a peaceful environment. I couldn't have asked for more to be honest.. except I wish the wi-fi was included in the package as it really isnt great. The staff were always helpful (thankyou Mahalia) and I felt as if I was ho... Read more

We have just moved out of The Travellers Palm due to major water issues. We arrived on Thursday evening and I took a cold shower on Friday morning, half way through the shower ran out of water. It is now the following Monday and we have not had running water in our room throughout our stay and that includes the toilets. The reception provided bottled water so we could at least have a drink .We have had to shower at the pool shower and the one communal shower that is in the main building. We were... Read more
