Well....arrived here on New Year's Day after an 11 hour flight with my husband and two children, my daughter was unwell on the flight and needed to shower but guess what....no hot water. Spoke to management the next morning about it, we were told it was because it rained through the night which caused the solar panels to not work and that was why the water was cold...every morning for a week! Not good enough. Only 2 towels in the room for four people? ( for our cold shower.) Rooms are not clean... Read more

We booked months ago and have been coming for many years and had good service from the staff. On this occasion we arrived 21/12 to low pressure with water we said would be sorted. We don't stay around the rooms much and on Xmas Eve late afternoon (shops closing soon) we go back to room to be told by other guests no water at all and when confronted was told Water Board issue which was incorrect, they told us nothing they could do until Tuesday 27th and left. I was amazed they had not sorted any... Read more

Arrived on 1/12/2016 and put in room 14, the following morning attempted to have a shower no water just a trickle and freezing, contacted reception said they were having issues with Barbados water authorites. The following day the fridge stopped working as too did the kettle. The fridge was replaced with a smaller scruffy second hand fridge and the kettle was replaced with a second hand kettle. Still no water. On day 5 had just had enough and after numerous complaints to reception asked to be tr... Read more

Having arrived early this morning back home after an 8 hr flight i had to write this review to try to help anyone who has the MISFORTUNE of staying at this establishment. On arrival late in the afternoon on the 20th Dec first thing noticed when trying to shower was low water pressure in our room No. 13(lucky hey?)Not enough towels in the room, not enough sheets on the bed,no welcome pack that was pre ordered and paid for months ago( beginning of the nightmare)We complained to the reception every... We returned today, 16th December, from a two week stay at this establishment. Travellers Palm has it's faults and yet I certainly didn't hate it, despite it reminding me in some ways of an apartment hotel in Turkey to which I gave a "poor" rating earlier this year. First the Pros. We found the staff friendly and obliging. The apartment has a good size kitchen. The verandahs or balconies (depending on whether ground or 1st floor) are more than adequate. The lounge diner is also plenty big enough a... Read more

We have just moved out of The Travellers Palm due to major water issues. We arrived on Thursday evening and I took a cold shower on Friday morning, half way through the shower ran out of water. It is now the following Monday and we have not had running water in our room throughout our stay and that includes the toilets. The reception provided bottled water so we could at least have a drink .We have had to shower at the pool shower and the one communal shower that is in the main building. We were... Read more

I have stayed in the Holetown area before and fell in love with the area (mainly as its close to the beach and local supermarket), decided to book Travellers Palm apartments and wasn't disappointed. The apartment was on the ground floor (really handy!) a good size, clean and in a peaceful environment. I couldn't have asked for more to be honest.. except I wish the wi-fi was included in the package as it really isnt great. The staff were always helpful (thankyou Mahalia) and I felt as if I was ho... Read more

Had 3 days self catering. Reception is at back of hotel so a few steps to negotiate with baggage and then back down to apartment. We arrived in the evening and found the shop very poorly stocked no coffee milk or bread. Check in was easy and apartment had everything needed including full sized cooker and fridge freezer cutlery and crockery. Restaurant and bar is run by Ian - he is a wonderful cook. The food we had here was amazing - tasty and well served. Apartments would benefit from some decor... Read more

It was my second stay in the hotel and I'll come back for sure. The hotel is located in a quiet neighbourhood area in Holetown; a short walk away from the beach, restaurants, the supermarket and the bus stop. The rooms are spacious and clean. A kitchen and a big fridge are available. The balcony is quite big and a pool is available as well. The restaurant serves great food. All of the staff is really friendly and helpful. The hotel makes a lot of your holiday. To stay here is always a pleas... Read more

Great self catering apartments , 15 minutes from the most beautiful beach on the planet! 15 minutes from the great range of shops and restaurants . Apartments very big , kitchen idea for making most things, good size fridge freezer. Lounge decent size with a double sofa bed, bedroom large with walk in wardrobe , bathroom nice good shower, tv with us channels . Nice pool basic sun loungers but fine.
