Hello Everyone :) Returned last week from a week long vacay . I figured I would write a few different things in here to help out anyone going to this hotel or thinking of it :) I will go over the Island, Mix of people, Walking, Sunset, Kitchen, Noise from street, Music, Service Island - Not a particularly noisey island, meaning not tonne of nightlife compared to other places, more of a chill mature vibe. Good friendly culture. Very little crime. Cool to walk around during the day. Als... Read more

Lovely little hotel but is definitely not 4* food is good, beach lovely but the noise of the traffic is off putting. We had to use earplugs to sleep Staff were great very friendly except one or two, would go again except for the road noise it's a big problem for us,

Had an absolutely amazing time at the SoCo Hotel. From the second we arrived in the airport, we were greeted by our friendly taxi driver who gave us a quick tour of Barbados. The country itself is breathtaking. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted with rum punch and scenic views of the crystal clear water. The decor of the hotel was top- notch- clean, crisp, and all white. The quality and level of service at SoCo was phenomenal. Michelle, along with all the other servers, bartenders, an... Read more

We've just spent a week here. The plus points are the location on the beach, at the end of the broad walk. Easy bus into Bridgetown and a walk to the musuems. It's nice being in a small hotel. Great if you want to meet other guests and get to know them. Negatives. The food! It is extremely repetitive after 3 days you will definitley be going out to eat so whilst it's all inclusive do budget for eating dinner out. Don't come if you're a vegeterian as there has only been 2 vegeterian meals in 7 da... Read more

Absolutely enjoyed my stay at the SoCo Hotel. From our arrival to departure we were well taken care of. The staff was very personable, friendly, helpful, and professional. For my birthday, we were treated to an unforgettable breakfast. It started with a decorated table including my very own birthday card, photographer, DJ, MC, and hostess. At dinner, the staff serenaded me and showered me with kindness and warmth. Thanks to everyone at the SoCo Hotel for making my day and weekend sooooo spe... Read more

A nice boutique all inclusive hotel (24 rooms) conveniently located on the south coast. The staff were relaxed and helpful in accommodating special requests, a real no hassle, relaxing experience. Possibly not worth the rack rates, so look for a special. A few areas that could be improved are the dinner menu could be changed daily (rather than every other day) and they could do a better job of ensuring the few beach chairs are not used by non-guests of the hotel. Overall a very pleasant experien... Read more

This is not a 4 star hotel and DEFINITELY not worth the money. While it's not far from the Gap, that's its only benefit. It's closed to the road (and noise), with no blissful entry. Check -In was horrendous with bags everywhere and barely any place to sit. My checkin was so off hand, I had no idea that it was check In (and the rum punch was awful)! The room they gave me was off the main floor and the walkway didn't feel very safe. The rooms were also not nice, the white leather was dingy, t... Read more

It appears this hotel was somewhat recently renovated to look very much like a Miami hotel. It is a great concept but the maintenance on the property is terrible. The doors painted white were all dirty, furniture was stained. The worst part was the water pressure for the toilets was terrible. All the restrooms at the pool were clogged (mens and womens) and the room we were in barely flushed. The bath products provided in the restroom are comparable to motel 6. On the plus side the view and locat... Read more

We found this great little hotel on @travelzoo and took a chance, not knowing anything about Barbados. We were not disappointed!! Amazing service, great food and the nicest staff in all of Barbados. The hotel was overbooked so we were moved next door to the condos and it was an even better location. I'd highly recommend the condos for a bigger group.

We stayed for only a week but enjoyed every minute of our time at the SoCo. This was our third visit and we were just as impressed as we were the first time we stayed there ! The fantastic situation of this hotel affords spectacular views from dawn til dusk. The charming staff are a great team and we were exceptionally well looked after throughout our stay. Michelle made sure we enjoyed a special evening for our wedding anniversary, she really is the most amazing ambassador for the hotel and the... Read more
