Stayed for our birthdays in June . Could not have picked a better place for it . From the moment we arrived till we left these people were looking for every little detail to make our stay unforgettable . And they absolutely did ! The hotel is very clean , the food is great . And the stuff is amazing just like almost everybody said here on Tripadvisor . I don`t think the place can be any closer to the water ( 10 steps ! ) . Even on my birthday dinner they surprised me with a little extra dessert ... Read more

After spending the last 6 years (10 years in college total) working on my phd, I wanted to go somewhere exotic yet relatable to relax and recharge my batteries before the next stage of my career.  I chose Barbados because of its pristine beaches, rich Bajan culture and English lingua franca. Before deciding to stay at the Soco hotel, I read a lot of reviews on here, Expedia and All the reviews on the Soco hotel were so overwhelmingly positive that I had doubts they were actually re... It is with mixed emotions that I write this review. In terms of location the SOCO occupies a prime piece of property that undoubtedly delivers on the sun, sand and sea promise that Barbados is known for. In terms of infrastructure I would rate this 3 out of 5 as the grounds are well kept, the rooms are clean, albeit basic. You can expect a constant supply of basic alcohol beverages although it was unfortunate to learn that all juices were from a tin. This was hard to comprehend given that on... Read more

We stayed at The Soco for 5 nights for my birthday. I'm an extremely light sleeper, but the traffic noise did not really bother me at all. Must have been due to the super comfy beds! The food and drinks were fabulous! The only meal we did not eat during our stay was tea, as we were always full from lunch. Staff in general were great. Bar staff were not very engaging, but I felt it was to discourage people from hanging out at the bar drinking too much. Michelle, the tour coordinator was e... Read more

We arrived at the SoCo on 6/11/16 for a week. We picked this hotel for it's small size and good reviews and had no regrets! Michelle, to us, is the biggest asset this resort has! She arranged our day trips, Silver Moon and Eddie the driver, and didn't try to get us to use the vendors of the hotel's choice. This is our second time in Barbados. We previously stayed in a penthouse suite at Ocean Two. For the money, I don't know if you will find better value anywhere else than at the Soco Hotel. It's an all-inclusive, which is unusual for Barbados, but it is not like all-inclusive that one might be used to. As soon as i checked in the great service began. Food great all meals. Super location right overlooking the beautiful ocean. Easy to get to downtown bridgetown. Staff very helpful in all aspects. Made me feel right at home. One of the great places to stay in a super place like Barbados. Soco Hotel,,, my new favorite places in a great island. Management very hands on and friendly and helpful.

Great spot, friendly staff, yummy food... what more could you want? Having friends on the island we wanted a quick break before Christmas and this was just great! No worries to be had, less beach hagglers than the west coast meant a bit more peace and quiet. Nothing seemed to much trouble for the staff, and I order off menu alot! Will be back soon x

What a great boutique hotel. Only 28 rooms all with magnificent Caribbean sea views. Service and food impeccable. Walk on the sand as far as the Hilton hotel one way the other along the new boardwalk as far as Champers restaurant. Hard to find anywhere better to stay.
