We had a great time at our stay at the SoCo Hotel. Staff was pleasant and attentive, food was great, and beaches were beautiful! Highly recommend if your looking for a nice and relaxing getaway! Probably not the place if you are looking for a wild time.

This is our 3rd visit to the Soco. We love the whole experience. Location, food and accommodation. Planning next years stay already. Boardwalk in front of the hotel is a bonus. Lovely pre breakfast walk each morning.

This is primarily a foodie review but I can summarise the hotel as follows: Rooms - ok, not bothered by traffic noise but our balcony doors didn't lock, so you could move the left door even if the lock was active. The plugs either side of the bed didn't work, so we had a bit of scheduling to do to charge phones/iPads. View - lovely Staff - wonderful, accommodating, friendly Beach - not the best on this coast, I like Dover beach better. Not enough sunbeds! The hotel was full and there just were... Read more

Arrived 3rd January to a warm breeze and cool cocktail on the terrace. The Soco is a boutique hotel with 26 rooms. The rooms are cool and spacious with a balcony. All rooms have an amazing sea view. This didn't affect us, however had heard others say that the road that is at the front of the hotel is noisy. That however is part of the experience with the Reggae Reggae busses beeping horns as they go past. The hotel is set at the end of a just under a mile boardwalk. The sunsets from the h... Read more

We wanted a small boutique hotel where the food wasn't all from a buffet, and the hotel met our expectations. Lovely location right by the sea and with the boardwalk, which we used every day, starting in front of the hotel. Room was fine with the balcony facing the sea the highlight, although the toiletries were a little more basic that we would have expected. We enjoyed the food, all freshly prepared and found the choices available absolutely fine. Tried a few Bajan meals including several b... Read more

This was our third stay at the SOCO in 3/4 years - we always go mid-January. We are a couple in our late twenties / early thirties. We aren't ones to ever go back to the same place twice, but this place is so special. What is amazing: - Location: impossible to beat this crystal clear sea view and cost-line in Barbados. Turtles swim up to shore every, water is warm like a bath. Heaven. Only a short 15 min drive from airport too which is handy after a long 8 hour flight. Board walk outside the ... Read more

We stayed here twice for two nights each, before and after a weeks cruise on the the Royal Clipper. It was generally a nice hotel in a good location on a decent beach. Its not a 4 star hotel, more like a good 3 stars. The room were OK in size and ambience but just OK. There was some street noise in the mornings but not too bad, the staff were ok but they took some work to get them to smile, except Michelle of course who was always bubbly. The evening meals were again OK but nothing special. Othera... Read more

Hello Everyone :) Returned last week from a week long vacay . I figured I would write a few different things in here to help out anyone going to this hotel or thinking of it :) I will go over the Island, Mix of people, Walking, Sunset, Kitchen, Noise from street, Music, Service Island - Not a particularly noisey island, meaning not tonne of nightlife compared to other places, more of a chill mature vibe. Good friendly culture. Very little crime. Cool to walk around during the day. Als... Read more

Had an absolutely amazing time at the SoCo Hotel. From the second we arrived in the airport, we were greeted by our friendly taxi driver who gave us a quick tour of Barbados. The country itself is breathtaking. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were greeted with rum punch and scenic views of the crystal clear water. The decor of the hotel was top- notch- clean, crisp, and all white. The quality and level of service at SoCo was phenomenal. Michelle, along with all the other servers, bartenders, an... Read more
