Only stayed here for one night as we were on to grenadines the next day. Amazing little hotel set in lush gardens on a hill side. Beautiful grounds with a must for bird lovers. Nice pool area with bar and lounge area with bar is very relaxing. Beach not far away and one of the best. Will definitely be coming back, but for longer next time. Love Barbados.

Ok so this was our twelfth visit! As far as we are concerned this is home from home. Whether you are a regular here ( as many are) or a first timer you are made very welcome. As this is a small venue a definite relationship develops between guests and staff enhancing your overall experience. This unique venue in its tranquil location must be experienced to be fully appreciated. Thank you Peter and the whole team for another memorable holiday at the SCC!!

We have just returned from our 3rd visit to SCC and looking forward to many more to come. The key to the success of this hotel is it's staff, from management to maids. Expertly led by Peter Charles the general manager, there is not one area of the hotel which fails to deliver. Almost impossible to single out any one member of staff but Neil who runs the pool bar deserves special mention for his non stop cheerfulness. This was our second visit after a gap of 6 years and the first time we have ever returned to a holiday destination. There are a few key things that make this such a good place to visit. It is a small resort with about 40 rooms, so you will know most of the staff well before you leave and they are the best hotel staff I've ever encountered. The service is fabulous and friendly. There are no children, so it is a pleasure to relax by the pool. Being inland, you are away from the beach by a 15 minu... Read more

I have just spent two weeks at this lovely hotel which is set in beautifully kept gardens. The spacious accommodation provided a lounge, kitchen, bedroom, bathroom and patio area, all of which were kept immaculate. The only downside to this hotel is that you really need a car to get around. There is a free transport service but this is very limiting. The staff are very warm and welcoming and I do not hesitate in recommending this hotel.

We have today returned from our stay at The Sugar Cane Club.. now that is the only negative to this review! Arrival and check in was painless and was made easier as we had supplied our info via Virgin prior to our arrival so was speedily sat in our room with a welcome rum punch. Our room was spacious and clean with a garden view , we had lovely neighbours who were returning guests and told us about the hotel First night after travelling long haul can often be difficult but we had the managers... I would recommend the Sugar Cane Club to everyone. I have never stayed anywhere with such friendly and helpful staff before. We were made to feel so welcome and looked-after that we became completely relaxed very quickly and so enjoyed our holiday more than we thought possible for two stressed-out old Brits. Definitely booking for a return visit - maybe longer next time.

Just back from a week's relaxation at this gorgeous hotel. The holiday truly starts with the lovely warm welcome from reception and the offer of a rum punch. We had ocean view one bedroom accommodation, which was very large , clean and well-appointed. Sitting room with flatscreen TV, kitchen area, bathroom, closet space and large master bedroom with air con (much needed !). Great views across the gardens to the ocean. The grounds are comprised of beautiful gardens with palm trees and other foli... Read more

Overall an excellent small friendly hotel an ideal location for a relaxing stay in Barbados. All inclusive is a good option as quality branded sprits, wines and beers are used and cocktails served all day. Excellent food and snacks.

The surroundings of this hotel/spa are very beautiful, and it's fairly nice and quiet here. The staff are friendly and helpful, with a smile on their faces. The hotel rooms are reasonably spacious, and the price is ok.

Returned 18/10/16 after two weeks at the Sugar Cane Club. We are retired in our early sixties and have travelled extensively therefore believe that a reasoned view of our experiences from the last two weeks should genuinely assist fellow TA contributors. Comfortable because the hotel rooms are cleaned to a high standard, are well appointed and from our room, 503 magnificent sunset views. Considerate because the General Manager Tracy and the staff commit to providing their guests with a full atte... Read more

Easily the most relaxing 7 day break we have ever had. The whole place oozes calm and tranquillity. The grounds are beautiful, the rooms are spacious and clean. The food is good and cocktails quite special. The staff we encountered were fantastic. Warm, friendly and always ready to help. This is the place to be for a peaceful break.

This is a very nice place to stay if you do not want to stay on the beach. A little out of the way but worth the drive. Staff is very friendly and helpful, the property is beautiful. Enjoy the open air restaurant but remember to bring long pants for dinner.

Friendly staff, excellent food and the service was amazing. The decor and art of the hotel was our favorite part, it had a lot of local products and crafts involved in the hotel and the room. It is a perfect place to get away and relax.

We stayed for two weeks at the Sugar Cane from the 8th October 2016 and this was our first visit to Barbados. We read a lot of reviews before committing to the Sugar Cane and I'm very pleased we did. All of the staff at this hotel cannot be thanked enough, including reception, house cleaning, maintenance, restaurant, spa and bar staff. There is a really good staff culture which puts the guests enjoyment first and this was really appreciated. A lot of guests were repeat visitors and I can underst... Read more

3 of us stayed here in October in room 102 a garden view room. It was our first time to the Island and this hotel, but it certainly won't be our last. From the moment we arrived we knew we were going to love it. The staff could not be friendlier, we were met with a rum punch and shown into lunch, as our room was not quite ready (we were having an extra bed made up). After lunch we were shown to our room and left to explore. Our first night was the managers rum punch party where we met other gue... Read more

Returned home on 10 October after a fantastic two weeks all inclusive at Sugar Cane. This is the best relaxing holiday my husband and I have ever had. The hotel and grounds are spotlessly clean and in a beautiful setting. The food was exceptional and all the staff were courteous and friendly. Okay I am not going to go in to a long review on this hotel as you can see from all the reviews below it really is a top hotel which is very well managed by Tricia and her example is followed by the staff..... I'm sure you have read about how good the staff are and thought really ,, are they really that good / friendly / caring ... well the truth is they are, from the moment you arrive ( a free rum punch and cold towel) to the minute you leave nothing is too much for them. We will definitely be back next year to see everyone, Location and hotel is one of the best near Seightstown. Food is exceptional even though we were not all inclusive, Grounds very clean and well... Having use of the minibus to The Almond Hotel which is right on the beach and 5 minutes away is great. You can use the facilities and eat there too. The Sugar Cane Club was the cutest hotel which also provided ample parking and an awesome little gym. Our room was super comfortable, the facilities where perfect and food was out of this world (both dinner and breakfast) The dinner entertainment (2 man duo) was so nice, playing acoustic covers of all your fav songs from all over the world.
