Our second visit to this hotel and not surprisingly it was not disappointing. Super situation near Bridgetown and just a stones throw from a wonderful beach. The hotel is small and intimate and the staff are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Rooms are very clean and roomy. If you are looking for an quite spot for a wonderful holiday on Barbados there is not better place. All this and all inclusive!

One of the best all inclusives we have stayed at in the Caribbean. Although the hotel is small and does not have a lot of the sorts of facilities of other larger hotels, it had everything we needed - spacious room, excellent food, friendly staff and close to a lovely beach. It was so good we have already booked to go back later in the year! Thank you everyone at the Island Inn and we look forward to seeing you again in December.

This was the perfect find for us. Arrived the day after Christmas after a very long trip flying red eye out of San Diego with a 5 hour layover in Atlanta. We were traveling with another couple and had 3 days before boarding a cruise ship for New Year's Eve week. We wanted to relax and decompose after the holiday stress. This was a perfect place! All inclusive with meals and open bar allowed us to relax and not worry about where we were going for the next meal. Loved seeing the race horses swim i... Read more

Having had such a good time last January, we decided to meet up with other couples who had also decided to return. This visit we stayed in a Superior Pool room which was spacious and comfortable. The food was good and the meal service has improved. All the staff work extremely hard to maintain the standards set by the Manager. Overall we had a fabulous time and are planning to return next year.

This was our second Staycation at the Island Inn Hotel, our previous stay for our 5th anniversary was nice hence the reason for the return. This stay was nothing like the previous stay it was awful from start to finish. We were considering treating our mothers to a weekend staycation there and the events surrounding this stay has changed our minds from ever returning to the hotel or subjecting anyone we love to the treatment we had to endure. I like to give credit where credit is due and havin... Read more

I stayed here in November/December 2016 and had a great time. The hotel was lovely and friendly and due to its small size you get to know all the other guests and staff easily. It could do with a lick of paint in some areas and they could do with more sun loungers round the pool. The layout was good and it has a good flow from the bar to the restaurant and terrace area with the pool being towards the back. It is in a good location very close to Pebbles Beach, George Washington House, the Racetra... Read more

Beautiful, friendly little hotel. Just steps from the beach. We like a small, local place like this so much better than the big chain hotels. There was a Radisson across the street and a Hilton down the beach a short ways. The Island Inn is all inclusive and the food was pretty good! The staff were friendly and helpful. We were here just 2 nights prior to a cruise, but we hope to come back for a longer stay next year.

Location: 25 mins from airport, 2 mins from the silver sand Pebble Beach. No where to walk to in the evenings, taxi/bus would be required. Garrison area, George Washington House, race track all within walking distance. Reception: Check in was efficient, although we weren't offered an arrival drink which others were. Angela was an excellent receptionist helping us with an excursion and allowing us to print off our return boarding passes on their printer. Room: Garden room, decent size with h... Read more

Have only just had the chance to put this review online but didn't want to forget to do this. This was our 2nd visit to Island Inn and it did not disappoint, we also met quite a few guests revisiting so they must of felt the same! The staff are super friendly and happy to help if you have any problems. The food is delicious....Cherie-Ann has a flair for bajan food that I think any restaurant on the island would find hard to beat, her coconut shrimp...yum. The bar staff are socialable, restaura... This was our first visit to Barbados and to the Island Inn Hotel and sadly we were disappointed as it wasn't what we expected. We went there for my birthday and it wasn't the best birthday I have had. Upon arrival the reception area is very dark and dismal and has no air con so it was stifling. The lounge area does have air con but they didn't have it on! The receptionist on duty wasn't very welcoming and we had to drag our own cases to the room. The air con in our room wasn't working and it ... Read more
