Hotel was a gem 10 years ago, it's starting to show its age. Food service was painfully slow. Still a nice resort, but after the checking I never got a full towel set in one visit, it always required two trips. Close to Bridgetown.

We have just enjoyed another blissful 10-day stay at the lovely Barbados Hilton resort property! We thought this was the most relaxing vacation we have ever experienced!! The big picture: This is an absolutely gorgeous and well-maintained property - every room has a water view. The staff will bend over backwards to make your stay enjoyable. This resort has the most friendly staff we have ever encountered anywhere in the world. Conveniently situated on a beach that can be walked along the So... Read more

We have stayed at the Hilton in Barbados many times over the past few years. We saw the hotel as a nicer, more welcoming venue than the Fairmont or Crane. Despite our enjoyment of many aspects of our stay this time we felt that standards were slipping. The beach staff seemed more interested in their phones than their duties and I struggled at times to get the attention of staff at reception. The staff in general is pleasant and happy. The inconsistencies in housekeeping is something that coul... Read more

When I don't think they had even spoken to them for the whole two weeks we were there unbelievable really that was in the breakfast room and then the cleaner hinted that it would be his last day two days before we were due to leave which I thought was his way of hinting for a tip because he wouldn't be there when we left,... Good hotel but if you're a couple, the adjoining rooms can be a bit much. We heard every cough, sneeze, cry, and scream, of the children next to us. We would have loved a room that was just ours with no adjoining door. That would have made for a better experience.

Enjoyed coffee on the balcony every morning. Didn't take advantage of the tour desk but there is someone in the lobby to help with booking tours. I recommend getting the executive level if you are with multiple kids. Was my wife, 3 kids and myself and the perks from the executive level came in handy if you are staying multiple days [free drinks, snacks, continental breakfast / light snacks for dinner. Kids under 12 get 50% off meals and kids under 5 are free so you can gain additional savings from that as well. Definitely worth it to visit, even for a daycation and I will definitely visit again when I return to Barbados next year.

The Hilton is a short drive to and from the airport which adds to the convenience.

Stayed in room 725. Very spacious, has a balcony with sea view. And what a view. Very well appointed bathroom with separate shower and bathtub. Good AC and also good WiFi in the room. Executive lounge is one of the best. Breakfast in the lounge was very good, the afternoon snacks also had options for a vegetarian or, even better, the staff provided extra options if none was available. Great service, great attention to detail. The grounds around the hotel are well kept and even have some historic... Read more

I travelled to Bridgetown for a consultation at the end of July, 2016, and all participants were booked into the Hilton Barbados Resort. The hotel was a pleasant surprise! The hotel is an excellent business location. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, clean and well-maintained on a daily basis; all the amenities are of high quality (although I would have liked a body wash rather than a bar of soap); the towels are large and fluffy, and the bed comfortable. The breakfast buffet is wort... Read more

My family and I stayed at the Hilton the week of July 24th. I must say the staff was very friendly and very helpful. Everyone was always willing to assist to make your stay memorable. I must make mention of the woman at the omelet station as she was the exception, she was not friendly at all. The lobby of the hotel and the pool area were very nice however, in my opinion there are some parts of the hotel that are in need of being spruced up. Nothing major but a coat of paint here and there, ... Read more

Absolutely wonderful hotel. Check in by Katrina positive experience. She helped us in a friendly and professional way and we immediately felt welcome. Concierge always cheerful and full of good dinner suggestions. Guest relations desk always helpful with reservations and whatever you might want to know. Rooms ( ours in the Lighthouse tower) nicely decorated with hygienic wooden floor. Poolbar serving perfect lunchmenu. Beach and ocean: simply like a Caribean dream! Executive lounge: great... We stayed at the hotel for a week. The bed was so hard we tossed and turned all night. The front desk gave us 2 drink tickets as their apology and indicated there was nothing else they could do. The room was very damp and musty smelling. Every morning we awoke with sore throats. We tried to stay out of the room as much as possible to avoid getting sicker. There was renovation going on so when we were in the room we listened to jack hammers. There are only 2 restaurants on the property and ... Read more

My family of 4 are vacationing here for a week. We are thrilled. This resort is gorgeous. It is private, tucked away, has 3 beautiful pools and a hot tub, terrific fully equipped gym, spa, cafe, bar, restaurant, business center, fun activities, basketball hoop, easy parking, incredible all around hospitality. We hit a home run with this beautiful place!

We are 1 week into our 2week stay at this lovely hotel. The welcome was wonderful, The porter told us all about the hotel when taking our bags to the room. We have an ocean view King on the 5th floor and it is perfect . The 2 issues we have had were fixed almost as soon as reported! We have used the pool bar for drinks and food ,the staff are great especially Grafton and I think her name is sheralyn and although it is a bit pricey it compares favourable with other places as Barbados is quite ex... My wife & I are halfway through a two week stay here. The location is great, and the beaches and pools are very well kept with plenty of sunbeds. We're in room 631 in the Lighthouse Tower, which has a fantastic sea view and an exceptionally comfortable bed. The rooms are recently refurbished and look great. If I had to find downsides, I would say that eating options are a little limited, especially as The Grille is closed for the whole of August. Also, if you're a Diamond HHonors member, th... Read more

What makes us to enjoy our stay in a hotel? I would say a list as comfortable rooms, if is beach front the view is overwhelming, the restaurants and the staff. We were amazed by the view. A lot of chairs and different spots, some with hammocks and chairs with shade. The pools are nice .One of the restaurant was closed due the low season but we had every day lunch by the pool restaurant and we had the precious Natalie serving us in a such friendly way ( she works there for ten years) that I... Beautiful location, friendly, helpful staff and a gorgeous rooming the 8th floor. Executive lounge access provides great value for breakfast. There are a couple of better hotels on the island but the Hilton is the best positioned for accessing all the great things Barbados has to offer.

Myself and a group of 8 friends stayed at the Hilton in May 2016. It was my first visit to Barbados and the Hilton did not disappoint. The location was central to all of our needs, a short ride from the airport and a short ride into town. Our room was very spacious and completely stocked with essentials. The beach was also very clean and not over crowded. Breakfast is pretty filling in the restaurant downstairs, and you also have the option to grab a small bite to eat at the cafe in the lob... My husband and I went to Barbados in Sept. for our honeymoon and it was practically perfect. The Hilton Barbados was an easy 30-40 min taxi ride from the airport and you can pay for everything in US dollars which is great. No need to exchange cash. The hotel is very central in the Saint Michael Parish and it is right on the beach with historical artifacts on their property. It made for some great photos in the crystal clear water next to the cannons! The staff was great, very attentive. Th... Read more

My boyfriend and I traveled here for a wedding in July. The oceanview rooms have a great view of the beautiful Caribbean. The staff is helpful and the rooms are clean. It's nice, but nothing spectacular. We had access to the executive lounge with free continental breakfast but opted to pay for the buffet daily due to lack of options. Not ideal for a romantic trip, but would work well for a family or group of friends.

This hotel does not know whether it is a resort or a hotel and consequently it does not get either quite right. It is not a bad hotel, just could be a bit better considering the price point. The setting on the beach is stunning, the two pools are nice enough and the rum punches are awesome (half price during happy hour). Food choices were limited and on Wednesday both restaurants were shut because there was a beach BBQ. However, if you are a vegetarian then you will go hungry that night as ther... Read more

My family stayed here for two weeks and had very high expectations due to the reviews. A few things really bothered us while staying here. There seemed to be a lot of areas all over the hotel that were overlooked in terms of cleaning. The house phone behind the front desk located by the bathrooms was extremely dirty. Inside of the phone cord that connected to the receiver was completely black; it looked as if it hadn't been cleaned for months. The sides of our light switches in our room were ve... Read more
