"We had the best time at this resort. The staff, food, and the place were great. A short ride from the airport and a short ride to Bridgetown. It was off season, so there wasn't that many people around. Everywhere we went the people are very friendly. We are going back to this resort."

"It was a sad, depressed hotel. The town/island is filled with shanty like dwellings nearby. A public transportation system that allows more than 30 people to stand in these hot humid speeding deathtraps. Where is the local authority to protect the citizens or the traveler to this 'paradise'? Shame on you! The hotel is just an example of how the locals are tired of well rehearsed smiles. They don't smile often, but neither would I if I had to ride in the public bus without any a/c or a seat for over an hour each way. I've travelled to the caribbean several times before, but this left me sad, angry and so disappointed. The Wildlife Res is amazing. Dinner was divine, but for the unclean silverware and chipped glasses. Be careful! Don't just stay at the resort, go visit Limegrove and enjoy some 'labels'. The ride over should depress you enough to spend lots of money and have several adult beverages. Don't get me wrong the beaches are beautiful naturally. It is developed commercially, but not for the human resources. Training, training, training? While at Limegrove a 'barista' used the same single espresso press for two large drinks I ordered."

"I've traveled to several regions throughout this hemisphere and this was by far the saddest. As to the hotel itself, the beds were old and incredibly uncomfortable. The announcement of the elevator woke me throughout each of my six nights there. The building seemed sad and not well maintained, but on par with much of the rest of the shanty-type dwellings very near by. The rehearsed politeness by the reception staff person was just joyless. The quality of dinner was a pleasant surprise each night and the proximity to the beach was excellent. A genuine smile came more from the 'beach salesmen' than the staff, bus drivers or people in general. I suggest you take a public owned bus ride to get a real sense of this place. Ride to the prestigious Limegrove shopping center to get a 'label' fix, after you've passed through the local community. I dare you. The drivers don't care to pack on more than 40 people standing when the local ordinance is limited to 7 standing. The locals provide the service, but must be crammed like sardines in a hot can to do our cooking, cleaning and so on. I probably wouldnt be smiling either. Hopeless and helplessness. Oh be sure to see the Wildlife Reserve on your visit...watch out for the caiman, he goes where he wants...and have some rum punch."

"the resort was very nice small but it accomdated our needs. ceiling fans are needed in the dining rooms. the bar needs to get bigger glasses. But all in all nice place lovely views of the ocean."

"Our stay was good overall. The checkin was great, however the room was very dated and smell earthy(like potatoes). The hotel needs renovating or perhaps updating i.e. beds, drapes and linens. The staff was very friendly and always ready to serve. The food was good but we were disappointed that more local food wasn't served. I loved the fact that they served breakfast, lunch, high tea and dinner with enough time between each meal.
Will recommend overall."
