"Our stay was a good experience.. When we arrived, we had missed afternoon tea and was quite hungry. However, by the time we were finished unpacking, it was dinner time. We must admit that our server on our first night was a bit unprofessional and slow, but we did not let this deter us. The other days were great. We got all we could eat, the afternoon tea was well put together and the Poolside Bar was always available. We checked out the Fitness Room and it had the basics for a good individual workout. Room Service was efficient and courteous and they also had a kid menu which was gr8 for our very picky 2yr old, it was excellent; Housekeeping also. Generally, we found the staff to be friendly and courteous, except for the female chef at breakfast who always seemed upset. But I guess that's the way chefs are. There were many tours available at varying cost which at the most were pretty reasonable, but we didn't budget for them. All in all our stay was successful for our first family vacation."

"Our stay at the resort left Alot to be desired. The beach itself is beautiful, and the location of the hotel is good but the food was absolutely terrible and the service just as bad. Food isnt fresh, and drinks are made with cheap alcohol and watered down. If You wanted bottled water you had to purchase it for $2 US. As far as the staff; you couldn't get a smile from any of them- even the bartenders ( which we were still tipping). And seeing day after day. I would never stay there again , sorry to say. Just for the bad food alone."

"Solid 3-Star as advertised, good value for Barbados, beach is short but nice, caution for non-swimmers, moderate currents! Can use/access up to 1/4 mile of beach. Centrally located if u are trying to lime close to Bridgetown(15min) and the airport, 15min walk to Oistens. Not much water sports or entertainment, food is adequate. Good base to tour the island."
Posted: Sun, Feb 26, 2012"A most enjoyable experiance staying at a friendly family run Hotel and resort staff were attentive ,polite and would help you any way they could . the beach staff were on hand all throughout the daylight hours to help with your requirements for sunloungers and parasols to beach sports and water born activities with the surf canoes, boogie boards Free and catermaran all easily sourced. Pleasent and helpful waitresing and Bar staff and Wonderful food we can honestly say we never had a bad meal ghe whole time we stayed there Good Fresh produce Well cooked , the only critique we could make was that maybe the shower controls could do with an update they worked fine just looked a little dated. overal excellent value and highly reccomended 3 star hotel"
