"I was there for 5 days with my sister for her birthday. We went just a week after their big windsurfing festival. I loved the beach didn't come across any seaweed during my stay, but that water is no joke as the waves get very rough after a while. The staff there was definitely some of the friendliest I've ever encountered at any Caribbean establishment and I've been to many.

The hotel could use pointers in the area of cleanliness though. I didn't like that the cabana's and some of the rooms curtains had mold stains on them, but I liked that the cabana's were available for no extra charge. The food was good, but in my opinion a tad bit overpriced for the portions. If you go please try their bread fried flying fish, best thing I ate while I was there.

Overall I would go back, the only thing I wish is that it wasn't so secluded, when I read on other sites that it's basically in the middle of nowhere and there's nothing to do within walking distance of the hotel, that was very true. Although a cab ride to the town wasn't expensive at all."

"This is my second visit to Silver Point and enjoyed everything immensely! It is out of the way, but the drive on the small buses are entertaining and efficient and part of the fun of the experience of being away. The beach is beautiful and a bit wild, providing great waves for a little bit of surfing or para-gliding. The staff goes out of their way to be friendly and helpful. My only wish is that the kitchens provided a toaster oven and hot plate to make it easier to prepare a few meals to enjoy on our patio. The breezes and the views are solid Barbadian gold!!

"The resort was a bit isolated but for the price I think it is good value for money, given how expensive Barbados is. Part of the hotel (near the street) was boarded up. I found the duplex room to be clean and well maintained. The view of the beach is appealing from the bar/ restaurant area. I only had breakfast which was good (not expensive given I paid more in Oistins). Staff were friendly and the hotel seems more suited to UK and European tourists that those from the US. No elevator to rooms which might be an issue for older guests. I did enjoy staying there and taking the minibuses around the island.

"We spent 5 days here. Overall good place to stay and very quiet. The room was nice, however there is no wifi service. It is included on the deck and around the pool. Buit come on its 2012. The beach was a disappointment. There are much nicer beaches on the island that are kept clean, Silver Point had a more organic look being covered in seaweed the whole week. The Staff was extremely friendly and nice."
