We stayed here for a few nights before our cruise and it was fab! The staff were so attentive and friendly and couldn't do enough for you. We were looked after very well. Rooms were clean and we watched the sunset from the balcony each night. Thank you for a great experience we will be back for sure!!!

My husband were passing thru barbados en route to other islands amd booked this hotel for one night. We thought we had an ocean facing room - which we did but it was across a road at the back of the main hotel and not great. However we got a good night's sleep and had an ok meal in the restaurant. On the way home we checked in again and this time got upgraded to a real ocean view room which was nice. Had a much better dinner in the restaurant this time too and much better breakfast - we coul... Read more

We chose this hotel because of the kiting and windsurfing in front of the hotel . This hotel was better than the pictures on the internet! It is really stunning. The rooms are beautiful and very clean. The staff at this hotel make you feel so welcome. The management , The security team , The housekeeping staff and The restaurant staff are all outstanding! What a great team! A special Thank You to all of you! We had an oceanfront room which was really breathtaking. You need a car for this hotel... Read more

It was a quick stay and because of closeness to the airport, came back to this hotel. It has the character, amenities and location to be a 4, however small let downs in expectations, just keep it rather a 3 then a 4. WiFi, not up to par, too many cosmetic flaws in the room and for the price...breakfast should have been included.

The highlight of the property is the convenience: to the ocean, airport and Oistins! Staff is super-friendly and helpful. We were recommended a babysitter, who was fabulous, and made it out a couple of evenings to enjoy nightlife. The beach is a little rough, but great for kite surfing. The walk-out rooms, ocean-side are the best - enjoy the deck, pool and restaurant with no stress. Also appreciated are the kitchenettes and private eating area/patio.

The hotel was well run and all the staff very friendly and helpful. We were given a free upgrade upon arrival to an Oceanfront room 118, which had great sea views and access to wifi in the room. You can hear the waves all night long which was awesome, so if you like a quiet nights sleep this may not be everyones idea of an upgrade. But the waves do drown out the sound of the frogs! Half the hotel is closed and boarded off, which I didn't really notice at first, and didn't affect us at all, jus... Read more

Ocean-front location, beautiful clean grounds, big bright rooms, but the true gem here is the staff. We got a free upgrade to an ocean-view suite at check-in. The front desk staff made brilliant recommendations for activities and managed to book all we chose at only a day's notice. Our stay would not have been the same without their smiles, advice, and help. The food at the restaurant is delicious, albeit a bit pricey. The beach is on the windward side of the island, great if you are a surfer,... Read more

We visited in March. Our tips are pay a little extra for a sea front room. Try one of Michaels rum punches and enjoy Brenda's fantastic company on the bar. The staff are lovely and once you get to know them a little literally nothing is too much trouble. Margaret on reception is so helpful and kind. They will organise everything you ask on reception, car hire, motorbike hire, trips on catamarans and tours. You can basically give them your to do wish list and it will be sorted. The bar and fo... With a stunning view of the Atlantic and Barbados' tropical coast, how could not want to quit your desk job and get catered to in Silver Point hotel?.... Lovely staff and awesome food, this has to be the best experience in my life. We got our money's worth and our entire stay wasn't expensive considering our accommodations. The only thing in question here is, why can't every place be like this?!!! Thnx for having us!!!

We only had a short stay, however it was wonderful. The staff were polite and helpful. The room was clean, cool, well equipped and had a killer view. The on-site restaurant was sublime, I'm only sorry we couldn't sample more from it - the shrimp coconut curry wrap is the perfect lunch.

Lovely room with a very large balcony overlooking the sea. The Silver Sands is isolated from restaurants or shopping but there is a good restaurant on the property. Enjoyed taking the local bus into Oistins for dining or grocery shopping. If you are wanting to kiteboard or just relax then this is a nice place to stay!

Stayed at the this hotel as I was in transit from Guyana to the UK. Didnt't fancy staying hours at Grantley Adams. Its about 10 minutes drive from theairport BD$24 in a residential area so not at all touristy. Stacey at the bar was very helpful in contacting various people to help me get my phone back (fell out of my pocket in the taxi). The bar was cool and refreshing overlooking the beach (not one that you would swim in I assume due to it being rocky outcrop and a small beach). Limited select... Read more

We stayed at this hotel because of the amazing reviews it had received. Now I must say before I write more that I stay in hotels 4-5 times a month across the globe so generally know what to expect in terms of expectations, depending on the country/ city I am visiting. So I feel my review will be fair and balanced. Firstly the hotel is in a secluded area. What should have been not more than a ten minute taxi ride from the airport, turned into 35 minutes. No fault of the hotel but this gives you... Read more

My brother and I traveled for his birthday to what we believed was a great hotel. Don't get me wrong, the hotel had great views, and delicious meals however, I would never go to an establishment where I knew management purposefully compromised the safety of their guest! On the day of arrival my brother and I had to be moved twice(which was no issue) nevertheless nerve racking since we had just arrived from a long flight and we just wanted to get to a room and relax! When we finally received a ro... Read more

This place is not in a touristy area, about 15 minutes from the airport. My room was upgraded from a partial sea view to a full sea view. Enough room for a solo person or close couple. The view was outstanding with a nice extended verandah/balcony. You can hear the waves splashing all day and night. The average taxi ride from the airport is 30 BDS- $15US. A trip to Oistins Fish Fry can cost you a two dollars (BDS) by the local bus. Walk out to the local small Supermarket (DOUGLAS) and catch th... Read more

We stayed for one night and booked the hotel because of a special offer and the distance from the airport. We had the ocean front studio and we had breakfast in the morning. The studio had an balcony with the feeling of an cage, surrounded with concrete. The breakfast (omelett) was less than average and the staff was not very knowledgeable about their products. Taxi transfer organized by the reception was unbelievable. The taxi was a rundown car in a terrible condition where you couldn't close ... Read more

I am not sure why some people are just not happy, this is a beachside hotel, with fantastic access to beach, small pool and day beds. there is food and beverage service. This is not a 5star mega resort but a small hotel. It is definitely more for the water activity crowd like surfing, kite, snorkling, etc. It is far from the west coast, near the airport and like all things in barbados, hard to find. Use the hotel taxi and you won't get lost. if you want to help the locals, instead of complaining... Read more

when we first entered the hotel, I was amazed by view and how modern it was. I was happy with the size of room. Had most things we needed even cutlery. The bed was big enough for two of us. love waking up to the beautiful view every morning. Had a terrace/balcony which was great to just chill and relax. I was satisfied with the room service. The staff was very polite. A very private and calm hotel.

My husband & I booked this hotel after reading its reviews online. We found the rooms a little dated and the bathroom had bad lighting. However, it had a great view of the sea. We liked the restaurant a lot as the food & drinks were great. Try the crab for appetizer- its so good). Most of all, it has a great ambiance facing the water. Stopped in here as recommended by Zed's Surfing (great guys!!). Service was really good...they went out of their way to make Caribbean French toast for me (a breakfast item) at 2pm. What can i say but that was THE BEST FRENCH TOAST EVER!!! everyone else also enjoyed their meals so it seems all options are great but i would recommend the french toast obviously!

Fantastic boutique hotel. Staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly especially Eurita - this hotel Is truly special as it has such a friendly warm feel and you are made to feel really taken care of and special.
