Lovely relaxing holiday with lots of places to visit. A special mention to Herbie and his son Marley who run the jet ski for the hotel. Barbados is a great island with wonderful friendly residents. Highly recommended.

We stayed at the Mango bay hotel for a trip in February 2016. The hotel gave us a warm welcome with the inaugural rum punch upon arrival. Once we had these and had finished our orientation we were shown to our rooms. The rooms were spacious and were comfortable, not that we planned on using them when the weather was so nice outside. As our stay progressed there were lots of things that we enjoyed. The all inclusive food was excellent and offered a real mix. The fresh fish was the best and I wo... Read more

Let's say right from the start, this was a great holiday. Good value, nice people, adequate rooms, adequate food and all running on 'island time'... Mango bay is quite a small hotel with one bar and one restaurant, a small beach and a limited number of sun beds with brollies so if you want to choose your spot you will need to pop out at 6am and reserve your place with your towels! Some days there will be a drinks waiter who will bring you a drink about 4 times a day, other days he/she must be b... Read more

We had a fabulous time! The resort was very nice, the staff was fabulous. There was a good selection on the menu to choose from. Our room was always clean! They provided several water sports that we had not expected...water skiing, glass bottom boat, catamaran ride, etc.

Our son and daughter-in-law got married on 27 May and the whole experience was amazing; the staff couldn't have been more thoughtful or helpful and they fully embraced the occasion. It all felt very special - as opposed to the "conveyor-belt" experience at some other resorts that we had been warned about. Nothing was left to chance and everything was thought of - it really was a complete package. Mango Bay is very pretty and immediately adjacent to the beach. Plenty of water sports. Excell... We loved our time at Mango Bay and all aspects of our time here exceeded our expectations. Particularly worth a mention was the fact that most meals are A La Carte rather than the usual buffet experience we have been used to at other all inclusive hotels. This really added to the relaxing experience. We had an amazing trip on the Catamaran swimming with turtles and also tried our hand at water skiing, Both experiences were complimentary. The staff are friendly and lots of touches are added ... Read more

Ok.... So i know it was several years ago we stayed at this amazing hotel, and my review is probably a bit outdated, but here goes!! What an amazing hotel this was!! Just myself and husband stayed here, we were spoilt rotten from the very start. All wedding plans taken care of with so much attention to detail given .... Nothing was too much trouble, I wanted lilac lillies, they got me lilac lillies!! The wedding day was spectacular, our minister was wonderful and the rest of the wedding team ... Read more

Where shall I begin? After reading all the comments regarding food and noise, traveling in a party of 15 with 2 children and 1 infant noise wasn't a concern but the food might be. The food every night has has so much choice from A La Carte set 3 choice menu to buffet style options along with a kids menu every night. Some said the food was inedible, I am not sure what they are used to (I travel with a 6 year old very fussy eater) but the food is far from "processed chicken nuggets and fish finge... Read more

We have just returned having spent three weeks at Mango Bay. This was our second visit and it was as good as the first. We have travelled to many countries all ove the world and stayed at some of the most expensive hotels but none compare to Mango Bay for care, attention and friendliness. The staff make your holiday, nothing is too much trouble, everyone has a large smile and a joke to get your day off to a great start. We were in room 112 on the beach facing the sea, wonderful views and no shor... Read more

I have been a visitor at many hotels throughout Europe , I have heard have a nice day , welcome , nice to se you again from many hotel staff ,but I have never experienced this level of genuine honest commitment from staff ensuring the best service I have ever enjoyed . From Peter staying late in his own time to set out a beautiful wedding breakfast table outside because he thought we might enjoy it . The warmest moment every day was when Mrs Eggs at the breakfast bar greeted me for breakfast . I... Read more

Myself and my new husband spent 10 days here for our honeymoon and I can honestly say I have nothing negative to say about mango bay. The hotel is small and traditional exactly what we were after. The facilities are very good, beautiful pool, clean beach area and fantastic bar and restaurant. The rooms are very clean (housekeeping comes twice a day!) with everything you would need and the air conditioning was a much needed relief of an evening! What makes this hotel awesome is the staff. We have just returned from a two week all inclusive holiday to Barbadian family run Mango Bay, Barbados. We were a party of four, two adult couples. The hotel is lovely. Small by comparison to some of the hotels we saw but good things come in little packages so they say. We have never been to the Caribbean before but have been to several all inclusives elsewhere. This was definitely by far the best all inclusive we have been to for food and drink. The food was exceptionally good every day. Wine ... Read more

Mango Bay has to be one of the most gorgeous and personnel hotels that I have ever stayed at. Firstly the welcome, staff here really really know how to welcome you and make you feel special. Everyone speaks to you and checks on your welfare, but it isn't done in an intrusive way. Rooms are a good size, mine was over looking the ocean with a large balcony. Well equipped with large rattan chairs and foot rests. Nice spacious bathroom and large wardrobes. Now the food.... Absolutely perfect. Reall... Read more
