Almond Club and Spa offers 161 rooms in 7 three- and four-story buildings that form a U-shape around a central pool-and-garden courtyard. Within the lush courtyard you will find a two-level pool and a cool-water jacuzzi. The ocean washes up to coral-rock formations along the resort's 100-yard water frontage. Above the rocks is a sand terrace furnished with lounge chairs.

"I and three friends thoroughly enjoyed Almond Beach Club the last eleven days of May 2011 ... Fantastic weather! Beautiful white sand beaches! Excellent snorkeling just off our oceanside ground floor suites, with wonderful short outings to the turtles ( fee well worth it)! Very clean grounds and rooms. Quality food and drinks, with welcoming range of choice! Several of the evening entertainment on-site (ie Almond Club dancers and limbo dancer) were superb. Plus the chance to visit the other two Almond Beach resorts (esp. Italian Restaurant and Reef at the Village further north) with air conditioned, comfortable and always-on-time shuttle buses -- all in the all-inclusive package -- was great. High quality and reasonably priced local Barbadian vendors often at the Almond Beach Club waterfront, plus the local Barbadian vendor booths one evening at the Village, were a definite plus. This is the sixth time I've personally stayed at Almond Beach Club, although my first return since a ten year hiatus. (In the past, I've gone in the Sept/ Oct period; this time in May quiet season.) Almond Beach Club and Barbados surpassed my already-high expectations. I'm definitely planning to return on a regular basis now! (The only downer are taxicabs TO the airport, which still unfortunately has visitors leaving Barbados feeling used. Thankfully, both the porter baggage charges and the taxi fares are posted in the airport and I was very pleasantly surprised with an enjoyable taxi from the airport to Almond Beach Club. However, the Almond Beach Club-ordered taxi TO the airport still tried to charge much more for the same trip # of people and #/size of bags! I'd love to see Tourism Barbados run those few unethical folks off their beautiful Island!!) "
