I will never visit Atlantis Coral towers. Issues with check in, my remote in the room, the drain in the bathtub, our view looked at a dirty run down roof top.. Upon checkout we were surprised with extra room fees that no one informed us about.. This hotel is overrated not worth the money .. Customer service was terrible in all the restaurants. room staff was nice but that's about it. No variety of restaurants to eat at and most of them were closed . Never again

Weather was great, staff was very helpful and friendly. The beds and bedding were good. The balcony and view from the 9th floor is recommended as the lower floors will have little view unless above the palm trees. The bathroom floor was slightly soiled as was the shower. We asked for the staff to do additional cleaning. The carpeting was worn out pretty good and walls/doors showed wear and tear. I think the place needs an update.

Enjoyed my stay at the Atlantis. No need to get out of the resort because everything is at walking distance. Club, bars, good restaurants! Enjoyed the breakfast buffet everyday! The guest room was spacious. The bathroom however is pretty 'old fashioned' from what I expected. Enjoyed the food at Nobu. Overall good experience. Next time will try out another Tower. id not really enjoy the outdoors since during the time I visited it was raining and the weather was cold.

We spent four days and nights and had an absolute blast in the resort as the water park is fantastic!! From a parenting perspective it was very relaxing as the kids explored the water park with less supervision than normal and we got to relax. I am told the Coral Towers are the oldest ones and will be undergoing renovations starting next year. You could tell they were well used as all of the outlets were so loose we could barely get chargers to stay plugged in and the shower grout definitely ... Read more

I'll base my rating on the measures below: Service; Cleanliness; Value; Location; Sleep Quality; Rooms. Service - the staff does not truly fix issues. I complained about my room and all the song and dance ended up in options that will translate to me spending additional $2,500. It's like everyone of the staff members is trained to get all the money you have. For a hotel categorized as autograph collection, I'll expect the level of service to be, at least, average. We just returned from our highly anticipated trip to Atlantis. Atlantis itself was such a let down. Nothing like what you see on tv. It's dirty, and has possibly the rudest staff we've seen on all of our travels!! The Coral towers was the first big disappointment. When we booked our reservation the lady assured us, we were getting ocean view. Well she was kinda right. If we stood on our patio and stood on a chair we might could catch a glimpse of the water. The other problem was, we couldn't get... Read more

This was my family's first trip to Atlantis, and I'd like to share the pro's and con's. First the pro's: We loved everything about Atlantis! The facility in many respects was breathtaking. When we arrived, Bryttany Roberts greeted us at check-in with enthusiasm and went out of the way to give us an upgrade to our room. I'm a single mom, and there's only one income in our family. So my affordability had us in a room without a view. Brittany kindly moved us to the 10th floor with an incredible ... Read more

We had originally booked the Beach Tower room, but were upgraded to the Coral Tower upon arrival. Our flight had been delayed in San Francisco for 15 hours, so we ended up arriving a day late for our vacation. Property is beautiful, restaurants are awesome! We had delicious meals every place we ate! Poisedon's Buffet, Plato's, Bahamian Club, Café Martinique, Nobu, Casa d'Angelo, 77 West, etc.

The property setting, scenery and amenities at Atlantis are exactly what you picture. The hotel itself overpriced for what you pay and the service then brings the value down even further. Our check in must have taken an hour. Had to ask another front desk agent where our disappeared to turns out they didn't have the two queens I paid for as a "guarantee" online. As she shared this with me I explained I paid for it and wanted it she said the computer doesn't say that so I showed my email to her... Read more

We have been to Atlantis several times and plan on always being return visitors. We have stayed in all the towers at Atlantis. Coral towers is our least favorite. Coral towers needs an update. The toilet is right by door to room. Also the bathroom door actually will hit your knees while sitting on toilet. Another con was there were hardly any outlets on walls. The room are just set up somewhat dysfunctional and outdated. The maid service was amazing though. The best part of Coral Towers was the ... Read more

My husband, 15 year-old son and I recently stayed a week at the Atlantis Coral Towers. We had a great time! The food and servers were just okay. We rarely were asked if we wanted another cocktail with our meals, and also struggled to get refills on water and soft drinks. The exception to this is Chantal (sp?) at Murphy's Deli - best service of our entire trip!!! We just returned from a week at Atlantis Coral Towers and the entire family loved it. I had read some of the bad reviews on TripAdvisor and prepared myself for any rudeness or issues with the hotel room with the thought of just focusing on being on vacation in the Bahamas. Well, we had no issues with rude staff or cleanliness of the room. In fact I found the opposite to be true. We went to Atlantis for the Fourth of July fireworks. As we passed throughout the grounds, there were tons of tents with colorfully striped tops where games could be played, food and/or drinks could be purchased, resort clothing could be purchased, "fun" wearables mainly for kids specific to the Fourth, e.g. red white and blue flashing headbands, or canes, or Uncle Sam hats, or swirling "manes" of tri-colored hair. My family and friends visited Atlantis during the week of June 27, 2016. We checked in at the Coral Towers, and we had the best customer service experience. We just got home from a 7 day vacation at The Coral Hotel. Everyone was beyond nice, and willing to help to make our stay excellent. The pool at the Coral was perfect, and not crowded at all. The hotel is a little outdated, and quite expensive. I was a little taken back by the 15% gratuity automatically attached to all food and beverage bills as well at the restaurants. Lots of advertising and a lot of talk but the substance does not equal their hype. The room was dirty upon arrival and took three calls to improve the situation but still was not up to the price. The water parks are indeed great for the kids; that part is lots of fun. However the food is extraordinarily expensive. Previously, I heard the word magical used to describe Disney. And only Disney. I would absolutely describe Atlantis as magical. Their attention to detail is amazing. The coral towers were wonderful. I enjoyed the themed decor, the room was nothing spectacular or mind blowing, but I didn't pay for that. The coral towers are the second cheapest in Atlantis, but offer what I think is the best view. There is a ton of things to do within walking distance from your room, or just hop on a shuttle to go further. We wanted a room upgrade when we checked in because I read previous reviews and they cheerfully did so. Our only complaint would be the food prices, by far higher than any where we've gone. $72.50 for 2 breakfast buffets that had the same foods you get at every resort, yikes! I visited Atlantis for a business conference and my views may be prejudiced by the fact that this resort is not designed for such an event. If you want to take teens someplace where they can swim, view sea life, play on the beach, and do water slides until they drop dead then this is the place for you. Especially if you aren't budget minded. The resort is beautiful, even stunning but the rooms are average at best. Many people in our party of 130 had problems with the rooms. My challenge was... This is my second time to this property, the last 15 years ago. We did not get the rooms we had requested as we were traveling with older parents and booked months ago requesting close rooms.. Unfortunately the property sells one day passes to the cruise ships creating long long lines at all on property attractions. You could not find chairs outside unless you reserved them at 8am! The staff was friendly with the exception of the front desk - no help and the casino staff was downright rude!

The only negative I have is that there are too many independent sales people on Coral beach, A vacation on the Atlantis resort should not include, non Atlantis vendors trying to sell their services. Outside the Atlantis Resort area is fine for such merchants inside the resort is not. The Atlantis staff were friendly and accommodating and the premises were clean, with plenty of activities for the younger ones.

Great place for family, Each tower has his own charm, and there's a lot of activities to do for different ages. The family restaurants offers a variety that satisfy all tastes. The waterpark is incredible and the aquarium is amazing, you will find your self surrounded of sea animals all the time.

This is my sixth trip to the Atlantis and we always enjoy visiting. Overall the trip was good although we noticed a definite decline in the maintenance of the grounds by the Beach Tower and Coral Tower side of the property. This is where the majority of the guests stay for cost purposes and it was evident that this is where the least amount of attention has been paid by the Atlantis. There were weeds and trash that were visible on many of the trails on this side where by the Royal Tower there wa... Read more

We were upgraded to the 9th floor of the Coral Towers with a gorgeous view of the ocean and the lazy river. We bought the 3 course meal plan which turned out to be a great deal as the dining is expensive. If you like fine dining, this is the way to go. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experiences every night. The water park is fantastic and the beach is unbelievable pristine. We ate at Virgil's, Casa D'Angelo, Olives, and the Bahamian Club. All were great, but the Bahamian Club was our favorite.... Read more

We visited Paradise Island and stayed at the Atlantis. We walked all over the property and really enjoyed the aquarium and the sculptures. The restaurants had good fresh seafood and all staff was courteous and friendly. The only thing we didn't understand was a fire drill in the morning, where we had to go downstairs in our pajamas. Other than that, it was a perfect place to visit.

This hotel was perfect for our stay. It was clean, the staff was friendly, and it was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go. It is farther away from the waterpark than Royal Towers, but I can't see that the increase in price would be worth it. When we had a minor issue with needing an additional blanket, one was brought up right away and when I lost my key card a new one was issued very quickly. The soundproofing is good, as I did not hear my neighbors at all! Overall, this was an excellent pla... Read more

While in port we took a taxi for 4.00 pp to the island. There are many things to see for free. You can also go in by aquarium and purchase a ticket to The Dig. You can also take a water taxi over and back. The taxi drops you off at Coral Towers.

We originally booked The Beach Tower and Atlantis called to offer us "an upgrade" to the Coral Tower. Foolishly we took the offer It is obvious the minute you pull up in front of the building that it is old and appears to be one of the first towers built at the Atlantis. Talk about 80's tropical explosion. Smelly carpets in the hallway, old rickety elevators, cracked floor moldings. I can go on and on. I realize that this is their pattern because the same thing happened to a friend of ours. T... Read more

This was my first time visiting Nassau, Bahamas (Atlantis) and it was a wonderful trip. The property was so beautifully planned and there was so much do on site. The amount of things to do and see was almost overwhelming. We had lots of fun, time to relax and experience a little adventure. I am sorry it took me so long to visit.

The previous reviews were helpful so below are some bullet points of highs/lows/in-between Pros * Able to book with Marriott points * Coral Tower is centrally located to pretty much everything. The marketplace [if you want to go to D&D or convenience store] or get around the massive resort. * Staff was attentive. They fixed our phone and TV promptly. Got us a crib. Overall the staff was very nice and helpful. There was one bad apple at one of the towel huts but you can't have fault the resort.... Read more

Checkin was fast and easy, our room was ready at noon when we arrived. We had a regal suite, there were 4 of us. My 19 year old son said either get 2 rooms or separate bedrooms because he can't sleep with my husband snoring, lol. The suite was at the far end, #7329. We had a view of ocean, the roof of the library, blu pool and beach tower pools. The room had one door that opened to the living area, with pull out couch for the boys, a balcony and a bathroom, the bedroom was huge, with a king bed... Read more

We only spent 2 nights here, but it was amazing. We stayed at the Coral Towers, which was fine. Why pay more just to be closer to the main water area. We had a balcony overlooking the marina. There is so much to do there whether raining or sunny. I loved having the option to go to the Marina to eat or check out what's there. We also loved the underwater aquarium, which we walked thru on the way back to our hotel. Checking in seemed to take a while, but other then that everything was per... Read more

Atlantis is a beautiful destination and wonderful place to stay. But you do want to do your research before going. This place can get a little overwhelming. Thankfully they do stop selling tickets to outsiders once they reach their limit so that the park itself is not over run with people....which is not saying much because this place is huge and does get crowded. First, the front desk employee's at the Coral Towers where amazing and very nice. They were always helpful. When we first checked in... Read more

I just came back from my trip to Atlantis and despite all the negative reviews, we LOVED it. There is so much to do that 6 days was not enough. Yes, its expensive, but there was a medley of free activities that you don't have to spend the money. The waterpark is awesome with 8 high grade slides and dozens of small ones. Everyday was a new adventure including the Dolphin Cay. I would recommend as soon as you get there shelling out the $250 for the resort and dolphin adventures package. I ended up... Read more

First trip to Atlantis. We went middle of the road price-wise and stayed at the Coral. Coral was nice but definitely needs to be updated. I was told that Coral was in the middle of the complex but I feel that the Royal is the better place to be centrally located. You walk everywhere so ensure that you have good walking shoes.

M husband and our two children, ages 18 and 22, just returned from a 5 day vacation at the Atlantis. We had two rooms at the Coral Towers. The staff was amazing! Courteous, helpful and very friendly. The first night that we checked in the air conditioning was not working. Many people were complaining and the staff remained calm under pressure. They switched us to two rooms at The Reef for one night. It was a little bit of a hassle, but The Reef is a beautiful property. The next day the a... Read more
