I chose this resort last minute, my wife and I were celebrating our one year anniversary. I was slightly nervous until we arrived. When we got to the resort about a ten minute ride from the airport we were amazed and full of excitement it was breathtaking! From the very start until the end of our trip every employee went out of there way to please you! checking in was taken to a whole new level Chevanda one of the kindest people I have ever met spoiled us to no end. We just returned from a week at Sandals Royal Bahamian Spa and Resort. The Butler service was outstanding and enhanced the resort's experience. Saronte, Perez, and Shamal were our butlers and we would recommending asking for them when booking. Each left little surprises every evening for us in the room from "towel animals" with flowers to chocolate covered fruit. Saronte arranged a romantic dinner on our patio on our last night, it was the best! Shamal made us the best vanilla milk shakes, and P... Read more

We arrived at the resort and the staff were very organized for checkin,it took a couple minutes but their checking in a alot of people so we just ... Read more

Positives - Excellent hotel, excellent location, excelllent food, excellent entertainment. Negatives - more staff needed on Concierge desk. Irons need to be re-sited in room as they take up too much space in the wardrobe. Hotel staff made the holiday such a memorable experience that we booked a further Sandals holiday for 2017 within 4 days of being there. Huge thanks to the entertainment team the Playmakers. Best entertainment we have ever experienced. I honestly feel that once you have had... Read more

We really enjoyed our vacation at Sandals Royal Bahamian. The food, service, scuba diving was all very good but I was expecting a little more luxury I think...and maybe expecting a classier overall feel. I was surprised that it took many requests to get an extra pillow or some extra bottled water delivered to our room...and it seemed the general staff were more interested in talking with eachother than in serving us at times. The more highly trained waiters and staff were excellent but the le... Read more

My husband and I got married on May 1st at Sandals Royal Bahamian. We couldn‚??t have asked for a more perfect Weddingmoon. From the staff, to the ceremony, to the location, everything exceeded our expectations. I apologize in advance for my verbosity. My trip to SRB was, without a doubt, the best trip of my life, and I‚??d like to offer as much information as I can to anyone planning a visit there. Before I start, I must admit to reading every negative Tripadvisor review for SRB prior to m... Read more

We celebrated our honeymoon here and have visited multiple Sandals/ Beaches properties since. Over a decade later we decided to come back to the Bahamas. The property has been renovated but unfortunately, customer service has much room for improvement. We had a Club level room (concierge and room service included). Pros: Short drive from the airport- transportation is included. Airport infrastructure has renovated as well. Clearing Customs was a breeze. Three employees (out of hundreds) sto... Read more

This Sandals resort, although one of the smaller ones, has just about everything you need to have a romantic vacation. The beach and the grounds are immaculate and very nicely landscaped. The firepits at night are fun to sit at..sometimes with entertainment. Food is varied...but i did find they try to make all their dishes caribbean...Sometimes its better to just prepare the dish the old fashioned way. Dont miss dinner at Gordons on the pier...great food...remember to go at sunset. Service ... Read more

Sandals Royal Bahamian is absolutely wonderful!!! What makes it wonderful? Let me count the ways: 1) At the airport we were directed to our bus to take us to the resort. They were on time and very helpful. 2) On arriving at the resort, we were greeted by a server with a cool, damp towel the minute we stepped off the bus. 3) At check-in, we were given champagne and shown around the resort. 4) We were directed to the Windsor Tower lobby area to make reservations for dinner during the week. ... Excellent resort. Food and amenities great. I am vegetarian and staff and chef very attentive and accommodating. Sandals cay is a must go to see. Nice snorkelling right off the beach with lots of turtles to see. We opted for the concierge service and saw absolutely no advantage to this. It was an extra cost with no benefit. Depending on how busy the resort you may want to grab a spot on the beach or the pool as they are filled and reserved for the duration of the day. Kayaking and paddle board a... Read more

This was the first hot holiday my husband and I have ever taken and we are already looked to book our next one! We stayed in the Windsor Tower in a one bedroom butler suite. Our butlers Everette and Ekron were amazing! We enjoyed our trip to Sandals Royal Bahamian resort. Not having to worry about food, drinks, and kids was such a pleasure. The resort was beautiful and the staff was very attentive and always friendly. The only complaints would be the cigarette smoking and the beach at the main resort was not as it appears in pictures.
