"By far, the worst vacation experience we have ever had!!!!

Although the island is beautiful, the beaches are scenic and actual location of the island is amazing, the experience is dreadful.

We stayed for 5 days 4 nights and the first thing we can say about the hotel and in general about the island, the native people are RUDE! Every request we had for the staff we felt like we were bothering them, from simple 'Can we get a cheeseburger' to 'do you know any place to go for a romantic getaway'. It's such a shame because you are seen as a dollar sign the minute you arrive, and feel cheap and used the entire stay.

Food- The food is awful. A-W-F-U-L. We sat poolside and went to the restaurant by the pool only to discover they serve BASIC items such as chicken fingers, burgers, hot dogs etc, BUT for a price tag of around $18!!!! Ok, well if it's a really good burger, you don't mind spending the money, BUT IT WAS AWFUL! Try next door, Westwing II, cheaper and you get actual decent food. We were also told to try fish fry - 'it's a must'. Well, we figured we'd go for dinner, BAD MOVE. We felt in fear for our lives and the food is ALL fried, we were thinking fresh fish, just caught fish, and fish specials. ITS A HOLE! Downtown is no better, NOTHING to EAT!

Booze- EXPENSIVE- 2 drinks for about $20, BUT one word of advice, there is a liquor store downstairs by the casino that has beer and liquor. BUY THERE! WAY cheaper and more value, don't give in to the sticker prices, especially since they add tip on EVERYTHING.

Things to do- NOTHING. Everything was on the island of Atlantis, which was a $20 dollar cab ride away and about an average of $100 for any activity on the island! Beach pass- $110 Waterpark pass - $120

SCAM

Rooms Hotel- First night they stole my wives expensive face creme. You leave it on a counter you expect it to be there. It's more about principal and when we confronted the hotel about any action they could do, they could care less, and told 'we will follow up' ....no follow up at all. The people are rude, the price is expensive, DO NOT GO HERE!

BTW- Every place you go including starbucks add's a 15% gratuity, DO NOT DOUBLE TIP!!!!"
