Worst Motel Ever!!!! Was offered "Free Accommodation" by Bahama Tourism, What a Joke!!! First of all it wasn't free we paid more in use and tax fees that it costs to actually stay at this shanty....The shower had an enormous hole in the wall covered up by a plastic plate and it dripped non stop. The paint was pealing all around the building, the ice machines were held together with duck tape, the service and concierge were a complete disaster, the beach which is about a 1/4 of a mile across the s... This is a basic hotel noting spectacular. The rooms are very basic. The only issue we had when arriving was the room given to us was still occupied. We had to wait for another room to be given to us. We were just tired at this point and wanted to get to the room to rest. Be careful for the attractions lady. She will try and give you a free attraction of your choice. This is a set up for a timeshare meeting. They give you a free breakfast and a free attraction of your choice in exchange for a 90 ... Read more

We really enjoyed our time here. It is not fancy at all! You get access to the resort across the street including a nice pool, restaurant, beach access, and a ferry to Port Lucaya. It is set on a very scenic canal and a picturesque beach across the street. Not fancy, but it was reasonably priced and the people are so nice. We will go back.

you can use pool and beach of tanio beach resort - flamingo bay hotel is a five minute boat ride (6us$) away from lucaya market place. Rooms are clean and spacious with kitchen equipment. Shop in the office is very expensive !

This property is a part of Taino Beach Resorts and is a very fun place. You will not be bored. The Flamingo Bay was def worth the price for a clean room to shower and sleep because you won't want to do anything else but discover this resort and the market place. Many events, great food and drinks, entertainment Bahama style and many nice people. Big Mama will greet you and guide you. She is one person you won't forget because her personality shines! <3 Be sure to tell Big Mama you have heard abo... Read more

This hotel is clean, simple and everything you need. The hotel is a value price but you have access to the pool, beach, restaurant and all the amenities of the more expensive rooms at the resort. It is a great way to experience a beautiful beach in the Bahamas with beach chairs and shade. The pool is huge and has a lazy river, grotto bar and fun water slide. The room includes a mini-fridge, sink, microwave and coffee pot. There is also a ladder decoration that works great for hanging damp swimsu... Read more

We only stayed one night, but were able to park our boat right in front of our room. The room was simple, but clean with two comfortable queen sized beds. The pool at the adjoining property was nicer than expected. We will be back when we get the chance.

Good hotel in Freeport. Nice, friendly and helpful staff. Big Mama is here to arrange for you a trip in the island. There is a ship which brings you to the other side of the marina and the hotel is reachable by taxi and coaches. The best is dinner and breakfast on the beach located on the other side of the street. The rooms are a bit outdated, but comfortable. It justifies their good rates. Thank you for this wonderful stay !

The hotel was nice the service was good and friendly. Rooms was clean they had prompt room service I love the fact the beach was across the street and I could've walked straight there and back to my room without any hassle. I would visit again.

Stayed at this hotel August 2016 for vacation. Great beach across the street we had access too. That and the restaurant at the beach were the only good things about this hotel. Sign in lobby was broken, some staff were not helpful at all, rooms were poorly kept and not clean, outside appearance wasn't much better than inside the rooms, deposit dor everything from towels, key, to telephone in room..... Would not stay here again.

The hotel itself isn't great. But you can't beat the location! You have access to the Taino Beach Resort across the street and it is quite possibly the most beautiful place I've ever been to. The pool is incredible as well. (Swim up bar too!) You have to take a ferry (run by the hotel) to get into downtown, which can be costly, but I wouldn't have chosen to stay in town over here, because of the beach... Hotel will get deposits for almost everything. There is a gift shop downstairs, but as in ... Read more

The location is ideal for anyone that has simple needs, likes to explore, and appreciates friendly service. The ferry was pleasant and when the boat was empty we were treated to a quick tour of the area on the way back. My room was always spotless, the staff were friendly, and the view of the harbor each morning was a pleasure. Afternoons at the pool and the evenings on the beach were quiet, relaxing, and enjoyable. The bar staff are charming, funny, and greet you like you've been a regular for ... Read more
