"The place was ok. However, it was dated. Great location for water taxi, directly behind the hotel. It was clean and the staff was nice. Across the street is the pool and beach. I was not impressed with the pool or the beach front dinning. The beach was not the best on the island but, it was nice.

If u plan on coming over by boat it is a good place to dock and spend a couple of nites. They have nice ammenities for fishermen, fish cleaning hut on the dock with running water to clean your catch."

"I never write reviews but this place was so bad I had to.The place is a dump. The staff was nice they helped us switch hotels to their other resort across the street. We had to pay an additional $100 per night to move. Most of the pictures shown are of the other resort. I would compare this to a old $30 a night hotel in the USA if you are OK with that type of a place it might be OK for you. If not stay away. I would not recommend it to anyone."

"We booked this spacious king room as the last minute long weekend and I was so sad the leave. It's been at least 8 years since I stayed at this hotel and although we wanted a marina view room we received an unexpected oceanview which was awesome (cannot see the beach from the 3rd floor; however, you can see the sea all along the entire 3rd floor). The room was clean, spacious, with adequate storage (for 2 for a long weekend) and a mini-kitchen (microwave/refrige) with ALL eating utensils. ALL the staff were very friendly and accommodating and we even splurged on the best breakfast the entire time we were there at the Taino beachfront restaurant (across the street) at $13.50/person. It was a really good breakfast with enough assortments. Took the water-taxi into Port Lucaya for just walking around, lunch, dinner and/or drinks. The hotel is quiet, peaceful and beautiful. The beachfront is simply paradise. It is NOT a 5 star hotel; however, it is so worth the price. The king size bed was very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again if I needed to save in order to splurge on meals, entertainment and other activities, etc. Hope this review was helpful. "
