The room we've got was not clean. Underwear from previous visitor left. Service didnt even exuse for it and we had to ask one more time to clean it, even if in 5 stars you expect other room to get. Not gently service on the reception.

It was our first visit to Vienna and Salzburg. We can't speak German, what was a handicap in order to achieve our objectives. We were on a holiday trip, so we expected a comfortable room, quietness at night, and some help in case of unforeseen events. And, no doubt, we got it: very good service and help, excellent facilities. Thanks a million!

Staff were so helpful. Parents got an upgrade with nice touches such as free mini bar etc. try breakfast at least once. Food and choice is excellent and front of house so helpful. We were very well looked after and we shall return. Location is just a few meters from the Spanish riding school and you really are in the heart of the historic district. Thank you! My only request would be to include breakfast in your room rate.

It was a business trip to Vienna. Hotel is located just in the middle of down town, very close to all sideseeing and shopping street. The only disadvantage of hotel are too many political and Goverment buildings around. Two of our three days stay most of the steets around were blocked due to some Siria conference. Also due to this fact hotel was packed with many officials, and we have to wait extra two hours until check in. Regardless this fact staff was very friendly and done its best to help... Read more

With the Deluxe room minibar drinks are included, and should be replenished every day, which is great. The bed was very comfortable, but make sure to order some other pillows straight away because the regular ones are way to flat. Fortunately the hotel offers a pillow menu to choose from. The room is very clean, but unfortunately one time they forgot to refill the minibar. Not all amenities were replenished every day. I had differing experiences with the staff, varying from cold to friendly. Pl... Read more

Our family of four (two parents, two twenty-ish kids) recently stayed for five nights at Hotel Herrenhof. The two rooms we had were very spacious and light-filled, as we were on the fourth floor. The rooms at at Herrenhof do not really afford any "views" per se due to the hotel's location on a narrow street with even narrower side alleys, but the rooms were pleasant nonetheless. Bathroom amenities were excellent. The breakfast buffet was fabulous. The front desk was of great service in order... Read more

The front desk was superb in terms of recommendations for great restaurants, shopping, Vienna card to get you around. Room was spacious. Small mini fridge in the room. Bathroom was large with hair dryer. Bar was fun to watch some soccer but great other nights for a night cap. I would come and stay here again when we come!

The rooms were spacious and comfortable. There was no noise and the bed was great! However, the Hotel has a smalland inelegant lobby. You have to walk through the back stairs to reach the breakfast room and even though it was tastefully, recently renovated it was done with plain/cheap materials. It's a shame because otherwise the hotel is very nice.

The holiday to Vienna has been a fifty year wait for my Mum [now in her 80's]and she loved every minute. The hotel staff and facilities were just right - the staff in particular were attentive, helpful and human. No question we asked was a problem so getting to all the places my Mum wanted to see became a wonderful adventure. My Mum wanted to soak up all of Vienna, especially the music, and this was made possible by her having a relaxed and professional stay at the hotel.

The Steigenberger Hotel was a lovely hotel in a good location. The breakfast was one of the best we had on our travels. The room was clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. We enjoyed our stay.
