We stayed 2 nights, overall I have positive thoughts regarding the hotel. The location of the hotel is good to access city by the public transports. Th tram and bus stops are almost in front of the hotel. Hotel room is good , convenient and the breakfast is very satisfactory.

If you are looking for a worn out hotel featuring black and white TVs (very retro), small rooms, stains on walls this is for you. It is undeniably centrally located but still largely overpriced for the level of comfort it offers guests. Anyway, the breakfast is ok, hotel personnel is friendly and if you need a place to sleep only it might be, maybe kind of worth considering.

Nice hotel. Helpful staff. Very nice room though our window wouldn't open and it was a bit stuffy. We reported this to Reception and it had been fixed by the time we returned from our day out. Good selection at breakfast buffet, but they desperately need a toaster that actually toasts the bread, and in less than the 5 minutes it was taking. For the size of the hotel and dining area, they need one the toasters that you feed the bread into and it comes out the other side. No waiting around just fo... Read more

Convenient location. It takes several minutes to walk from the hotel to Vienna main sation, tram stops, U-bahn (red) stop. There are several cafes near the hotel; Billa supermarket is also very close (less than 5 min walking). One of the Vienna"must see" - Belvedere palace is not so far from the hotel (about 10 min walking). Room are clean. Breakfast is good. They serve same dishes, but for 2-4 days it is not a problem. Rooms are comfortable, beds are spacious, bathrooms are very clean. Some rooms have balcony which is great! Breakfast is very nice, great selection of food and drinks (I like their pancakes, especially with nutella!). Location of hotel is okay, close to Belvedere garden, but area is too windy sometimes. For the 4 nights I spent there, I have 2 remarks. One is bad wifi in some rooms: in my room it was too bad and most of the time I had to use roaming data as I was on business trip. Second one is ... This charming hotel was comfortable and clean however the rooms are in need of an upgrade as looking a little bit tired. On the upside the bathroom was more modern and for breakfast they served up the usual Viennese selections of good quality foods. Best of all the hotel is situated just 5 minutes from Vienna‚??s main railway station (Hauptbahnhof Wien) and underground metro station (Sud Tyrol). It is in an ideal location to commute and see the wonderful sights of Vienna and also has easy acces... Read more

This hotel is conveniently located diagonally across from the railway station. Although not much from the outside, the entrance foyer was quite impressive with a reasonable reception. Our bedroom room was large comfortable and clean with a modern bathroom. It also had a balcony opening up onto the front of the building. There was no road noise. First of all I must admit that the room was clean and quiet enough. However, it is a joke call this a 4-star hotel. The decor was tacky and completely outdated. It looked nice and classic in the photos, specially the hall, but it is actually old and worn out. A bad trip to the past. The breakfast was mediocre.

This hotel was a great disappointment to my husband and I. It was no way a four star. To list a few complaints - no toiletries, no air conditioning, an empty mini bar not even a complimentary water, nowhere to get a snack or a meal apart from your breakfast which was a very poor standard. Staff were OK and helpful when there was a power cut so lifts were out of service etc.

It's very near from Vienna main train station. The hotel is quite old fashioned but it's nice and clean. I booked for triple room, the single bed in the triple room is actually the sofa. And there is no drinking water bottle in the room.

We stayed at this hotel in November 2016 . It is located slightly outside of the city centre but is only 10 minutes away on the underground. The hotel was clean pleasant and comfortable. The room's decor was rather dated and although not cramped was on the small size. The staff in reception and in the breakfast room were pleasant and courteous. The main criticism is that the hotel is described as 4 star which it plainly is not. However , it would be fair to describe it as a good value 3 star hot... Read more

This is a lovely hotel a couple of minutes walk away from the train station. The city centre is easy to reach from the hotel by tram, and only takes a few minutes to get to. The decor is slightly dated, but the hotel is clean and comfortable, and I had a lovely big room at the rear of the hotel. Breakfast is a fantastic, with a wide selection of hot and cold foods to choose from. If I come back to Vienna, I'd happily stay at the Hotel Prinz Eugen again.

I stayed here for 4 nights and found the it to be perfect for my needs. I had a standard room, which was not very big, but was clean and comfortable. The bedroom had a comfortable full size bed, pushed into a corner, which made the room seem bigger, Desk, chair, fridge and plenty of places to recharge devices. the hall area had a large closet, safe and shelves. There were plenty of coat hooks, right next to the door. The bathroom was large and spotless, with a large tub/shower combination. Plenty... Read more

Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights and was somewhat a little surprised, in a good way. Easy check in and helpful staff: Decent breakfast and the room was very clean and but as I was at the back i did not hear a thing: Adjacent to the Belvedere Palace and only about a 10 minute walk to City center, but tram stop not far away: A its near the main train station its convenient fr travel to the airport:

My wife and I stayed at The Prinz Eugen for 3 nights. Nice welcome at Reception when we arrived and rest of staff very helpful and friendly. It's a short 5 minute walk to the Underground from where the centre of the old town is reached in about 10 minutes. Breakfast at the hotel is very good. The rooms are clean and comfortable. All in all a great stay and would book to come here again.

We just spent a week at this hotel and can not fault it. Friendly, efficient staff at reception, quick check-in. We requested a quiet room and were given a large, comfortable room on the 8th floor which, although it faced the main street, was totally quiet due to excellent soundproofing. Breakfast was wonderful, with plenty of hot and cold choices, lots of fresh fruit and salads, and freshly made pancakes daily. Plus a coffee pot per table is a great idea. It's in a large, bright dining room wit... Read more

We had three nights here very comfortably. The room is well equipped. There is shower/hair gel in the bathroom, a plug for shaver/electric toothbrush even a trouser press. The little bar sells snacks. As we arrived late we were glad of a toasted sandwich. If you arrive by train, head for the Sudtirol pltz exit at Hauptbahnhof. Cross the dual carriageway at pedestrian lights in front of the Hotel Congress which you will see facing you. Turn right and with Hotel Congress on your left walk abou... Read more

Having had many days of the so-called European breakfast at the other hotels in Italy, where everything is cold and the bread tastes like rock, the hot American style breakfast this place offers, full of scrambled eggs, sausages, and waffles, was a welcoming change. The good pretty much stops there. The hotel and its rooms are quite outdated with dirty carpets. The wifi range is pathetic. It's a bit out of the City centre but very close to the Train station. If they can spend some money and up... Read more
