Have been there twice in October and November. Great place to start your tour through Vienna. Situated above the train station and underground (with shopping mall. Very handy if you need a quick bite). Rooms are not big but very comfy and chic. Try to get one which does not face the street. There is everything you need. Breakfast is excellent, a bit overcrowded at times but you can find a peaceful spot on the first floor. Great value for money!

Having heard from a friend of a friend that the Motel One hotels are rather nice, we took the plunge and booked Motel One Westbahnhof for our long weekend in Vienna. Why Westbahnhof? Well it was coming in a little cheaper than the other Vienna hotels of the same chain, and also seemed to be a great location being next to a railway station. I'm sure it was around £70 a night if memory serves me? What's not to like about that price for a hotel room in Vienna? As it was my first visit to Vienna... Read more

We arrived at the hotel and quickly the reception provided us with a printed map how to park the car- which was just around the corner. The check in was really fast and we received exactly what we booked. The lounge is amazing and they have a lot of gin. The toiletries are very good. Normally I travel with my own kit but I LOVED showering with their soap. The downside the room is a little bit too small. It would not fit our 2 suitcases open, but that is not a problem... we liked everything else ... Read more

I stayed here on business as I had to make several train trips to different cities. All the shopping and food that you could want is within walking distance. Had a nice time in the bar with an expertly poured Moscow Mule.

Very comfortable hotel! Good location, near supermarket, shops and metro/train station. There's a airport bus stop in front of the hotel. The bedroom was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was amazing and they have a beautiful decoration. I recommend! It's a nice and practical place to stay in Vienna! ?????????

a comfortable hotel with a small and cozy room, friendly staff, very clean and quite, having all the commodities. there is a train, metro, tram and bus station at 20m and a small shopping center at 50m where you can find McDonald, subway, burger king, Starbucks, donuts, a mini-market. I would come back

Excellent efficient hotel by Westbahnhof. Nice, no frills, new and modern hotel with best location for transport around Vinna. Easy access from the airport by train or Bus. Stops at your doorstep. Shopping in and around Westbahnhof and the famous Mariahilferstrasse across the street, which leads down to Hofburg and Stephans dom, right in the heart of old Vienna. Nice lobbybar and breakfast room. Roomy seating aerea outside and inside. Unbeatable price for this standard and location. Very i press... Read more

We chose Motel One after seeing Rick Stein stay in one of their hotels whilst on a trip to Vienna. What we didn't realise until afterwards was that this isn't the one he stayed in !! There is another one closer to the Museum Quarter but we were prepared for plenty of walking so it didn't matter too much ! Really easy to get to and from the airport by bus and handy location for walking and exploring the central areas of Vienna. Its a motel and operates along similar lines to Premier Inn in the ... I was there for a business trip. The personell of the hotel and the position are the only pluses of the hotel. Rooms are very small, the price for room does not includes the breakfast, the fact that is very close to the trainstation makes you unconfortable when you are close to the hotel because of the dubious people which are in that area. The parking is hard to reach if you don't know the way.... I recommend only if you need to stay for a very short period.

Well I went in this hotel many times. And still have the same opinion: good price for the room you get BUT -the terrace closes at 11 PM (no posibility to stay more for a drink or smoke) -the personal as a general is rude, especialy the waiters -you must pay for everything exactly after you order and bring you the drink. Imagine someone adressing to his/her emails ordering couple of drinks, that must pay for every coffee, or whatever, or going in the room to pick up money in a upper floor -the do... Read more
