We stayed in one of the disabled guest rooms for 3 nights. It was spacious enough for my husband to manoeuvre his electric wheelchair round. Bathroom sink was a good height and he didn't struggle getting under it. He couldn't use the bath, but for 3 nights it wasn't too much of a problem. Completely level access into the hotel and no steps inside. Bar and lounge area very relaxing and the staff all spoke very good English which was a huge relief as we don't speak any German. Very easy to get aro... Read more

We booked our stay with the Imperial being our first time in Vienna. The hotel is a bit out of the way if you want to be in the center although it is near the Belvedere garden. It is a huge hotel mostly appropriate for business customers. The rooms are clean and comfortable. But the hotel is nothing to write home about. It's your average business hotel. The restaurant however, was bad. The food was just average but not average price. The staff at the restaurant are friendly but it is the c... Read more

Hotel was really good and staff were very friendly and helpful. We had dinners to attend so didn't have to find dinner ourselves which was good cos the hotel was a bit away from the main drag. Breakfast was good so I imagine the hotel restaurant probably is too. Also good bar in the lobby. One problem was that free wifi was only available in the lobby not rooms. I suppose that keeps you at the bar for longer

A great hotel with friendliest staff, nicely located, easy access to all central locations. Clean and quiet rooms, reasonable priced, too. Free pool and gym with all facilities. Highly recommended place to stay both for business or pleasure.

The staff was great, especially the woman who works at night in the concierge/executive lounge, and the hotel was very clean. Generally, everything I'd expect from a Renaissance property. We are Marriott Platinum, so we got one of the larger rooms in the building with the concierge/executive lounge in it. The room was good overall, with a small fridge available, but the bed was a little old and saggy in the middle, but otherwise good. The location isn't ideal, but it's still pretty easy/cheap ... This is one of the hotels and personnel that managed to handle a 3 day even with a very large group (100 people ). They created seaming less experience for everyone and allowed us to enjoy the stay as organisers as well. Good level of service and good venue. They might work further on renewing their conference room - the stage is a challenge.

Typical Renaissance Hotel from Marriott Group with perfect connection to public transportation. Hotel is in a very good shape, personal is very attentive and it has everything what you need (expect the water boiler in the room) during a business trip. Can recommend it

This Renaissance property truly stands out. Our stay in the Imperial Club was fabulous. Very nice large room, nice bath, located by a back elevator straight to the Club area. The Club exceeded expectations for food, drinks and service. Huge choice at both breakfast and evening hours. Terrific wine and beer selection. The Club is at ground level on the entrance courtyard with floor to ceiling windows. Since the property is adjacent to a train station, the flow of locals made great people watching... Read more

If it wasn't for an older than normal room and decor, this would have gotten five stars. The Renaissance is close enough to the first district that a 10-min tram ride can get you there without the high cost of a hotel inside the "ring". With a top-notch club lounge and excellent service, this property rocks. There are also plenty of "junior suite" rooms per floor that Elite status will likely get you the upgrade to the larger room. Being on the outskirts also allows the ability to get some o... Read more

We stayed five nights at the Imperial Riding School Renaissance in Vienna. We liked the location. It is about a 20 minute walk to the Ringstrasser. A couple of days we took the team to the Ringstrasser because we're a little older and we get worn out easy. Have to conserve her energy where we can! As far as the hotel though The Imperial Riding School Renaissance is absolutely wonderful. There are rooms in two buildings. We were across from the main hotel building, and in that part of the ho... I stayed for one night in a business suite in the main building. Really nice rooms/beds and a very good club lounge (unfortunately it was in the other building). Free printing/internet in the business centre and reliable wifi all over the hotel. The only issue I had was with the cheap key cards they use that I had to reset twice as it came near my phone. I travel a lot and have only encountered this issue with keys a couple of times. Needs fixing.

It's hard describe the dichotomy between the general hotel experience and the bar. Generally a great hotel with close access to the Rennweg station. Ridiculously poor service at the bar though. Wow! One server told us that the full restaurant was available, but when we went to order, we were told this wasn't available. Took 40 minutes to figure out our bar order (for 2 people) and over an hour to get any food Would stay here again, but amazed by the incredibly bad service at the bar.

Regular at Marriotts worldwide and I really liked this hotel. Service was excellent exec lounge was superb and the hotel is lovely in many ways. I was here on business and the hotel offered everything I needed. Great beds and anyone who reads my reviews will know I'm a sucker for good pillows, they get top marks! Nice pool and spa.

Buffet dinner was well supplied, elegantly presented and delicious! Hotel accommodated a last minute meeting. Easily checked in my 47 guests. Bar area was fun. Outdoor sunning and party area was well kept. Very enjoyable stay.

We had great expectations for this Hotel and when we walked in they were met, it's got a big open foyer and looks lovely. The location is good, it's not a far walk to the centre and the public transport is very good a short walk to the trams. The front staff were lovely at check-in and we went to our room... this is where it goes down hill for our stay. We were given the wrong room and weren't helped a great deal in correcting the matter. Stayed here for 3 nights. Here is the breakdown: First our experience was based on being Marriott elite status. If you aren't elite your experience will not be comparative. Hotel: beautiful but old and needing some updates. The carpet has to be 30+ years old and the furnishings throughout the hotel are not uniform. The seating on club level looks like something from grandmothers house, while the furnishings in the lobby were modern and the furnishings in the elite club room were contemporary ... Read more

Do not be mislead by the facade ,it is very nice ,but the rest of the hotel is not of the era. Rooms are in need of upgrading as is the spa. For those not used to the spa areas in europe , no prudes need use the facilities . Co-ed and nudity are the norm. The bar in the lobby is real tired ,as the furniture is well used. No table service so order at the bar. Front desk always seemed to be understaffed. The restaurant is well serviced and the food is good. This hotel is not near the centre , it... Read more

What I mean is you want to upgrade your room to the residence part of the hotel or the side of the hotel opposite of the check-in desk. There are two hotel towers, and you want to be in the tower with no check-in desk. Reason: the better tower has a Marriott Residence Inn feel to it when it comes to food. They serve all kinds of snacks and food all throughout the day. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert. It's all free. Ok, I'm cheap. But, if you are too, this is where you want to be to s... Read more

The staff at the hotel worked very hard to be welcoming and accommodating. If my review was based solely on their performance this would easily get the highest rating. The concise lounge was also very well stocked. My biggest draw back was the location. We seemed to be a bit out of the center of the hustle and bustle and having only a brief stay weren't able to get accustomed to the public transit and therefor we lost or had to take taxis much more than we wanted. Hotel is in a good location in Vienna, close to 2 tram lines which can take you to many of the tourist attractions. Even some of the attractions you can walk to. The hotel is old, the rooms need renovation. Breakfast is good but very expensive ‚?¨28 per person which is too much, unless you are getting it for free. The lounge is good if you have access to it. Some food, snacks, and drink. If we return to Vienna we might stay here again for its location.

Not too close from the city center but you access it with trams (stra√?enbahn) and the subway (S-bahn) My room was not so big, but it was comfortable. hallways were too dimmed-lit but the lift was huge enough for luggages and couple of people. It doesn't really have a nice view from any window because nearby is really nothing to see.

My wife and I stayed at the Imperial Riding School in Vienna for 3 nights in early August, and we thoroughly enjoyed it.
