The room is clean and the bed is comfortable. The breakfast is excellent! But they use the excuse of a "low budget room", "Ecologically sustainable room" and "Room design" to provide a room extremely simple and "unfinished". Also, the automatic light of the bathroom stay on for a very short time. You must finish whatever you are doing there in the dark.

The window could only be tilted, but not fully opened. There are only two mini-knobs and one short bar witha few coathooks to hang up clothing - all of them wall mounted. A board along the wall with a series of hooks attached to would suffice since there is not one single shelf in the room. There is only one blanket for two persons; it is giant but every turn of your sleeping partner will awake you. The saggy mattress has already seen its better times. Shower and restroom are fully ok as w... Read more

I had a good experience with this hotel. They gave me an early check in without asking for extra money. The receptionist was a very good lady. The breakfast was good, however not much variety. The hotel location is excellent. Very near two metro stations. Since I was a solo traveller. I could use the double room comfortably. It may not be comfortable for two people.

I stayed here for a long weekend while attending the AC/DC concert. The hotel has an excellent location, it's just a stone throw away from the Prater and its world famous Riesenrad and the Ernst Happel Stadion is three stops away by the underground ("U-Bahn") line U2. The city centre (Stepahnsplatz) is the third stop from the hotel on the underground line U1. The main train station ("Hauptbahnhof") is also accessible from Praterstern train/underground station. A P+R facility is located five stop... Read more

We had a very good experience with this hotel in Vienna. Very well located and convenient, if you are using the metro to get around. The neighbourhood is very safe and there are some places to eat and shop nearby. The hotel have a good size window in the rooms and I was a bit worried about the noise. Luckily, I couldn't hear a thing later on, as it's all very well made with good insulation. Also, the curtains are thick and dark enough to avoid brightness early morning. The room size small wi... We were looking for an affordable hotel well situated...hard work to get one in Vienna! On the contrary, we booked this hotel following the opinions of other guests and I must say the were right. This is a very convenient hotel if you are looking for a neat place to sleep in. The room is simple and basic but clean and tidy. It is true that the shower is very tight but it serves right to its purpose. We found breakfast very good and with a wide choice. The tube station is 10 mins away from the ho... Read more

Location is two blocks from the Praterstern subway stop with very quick, easy access to Stephanplatz and the center of the city. Rooms are very plain and simple but priced well and fine for folks like us who sleep in the room then explore all day. Our only objection was the lack of attention to cleaning detail. Walls had drip stains in two locations and the floor had a few holes and burn marks.

Ibus Budget Hotel was very nice place to stay for few days in Vienna. It was clean and quiet place, polite hosts, delicious breakfast. The hotel is so close to the Subway, Trams and Train to the airport.

What it says on the tin. You don't get tea and a kettle but you get great value in a lovely location. £40 a night for an en-suite triple room all to myself in Vienna suited me down to the ground. Clean, comfortable, spacious, quiet. No complaints from me. Don't opt for breakfast, though. Go around the corner to Ullman's for luxury at the same price. ;)

If you are thinking about the bed and breakfast with good price you are on right address. Easy to parking, breakfast was fine, just behind of my room´s window was the emergency stairs. It would generate some security problem when you want to have a open windows during the night.

We were more than satisfied as it was near two metro stations. Smiling receptionists and un hindered service made our stay even more satisfying. We did not use breakfast. Room was clean, but bathroom n toilet was small

Didn't need a spacious room as I was out most of the time. Great conditions. And really good location - the train station is 5 minutes away and connects you directly to the airport (line S7), plus two metro lines.

Front desk staff cordial and provided map plus information on nearby dining options. Room on fifth floor overlooked central courtyard. Nothing fancy, but clean and efficient. Walked to center of Vienna in about 20-30 minutes. Complex includes a school which apparently attracts groups of international students. As mentioned elsewhere, S7 train serves VIE airport from Prater station (four blocks away).

Great hotel for a good price with excellent conections to eveywhere in the city. Service and breakfast were also great. I would recommend it to everybody going to a expensive city like Vienna. I would book again here for my next visit.

Decent Hotel Near Praterstern metro Reasonably priced Has internet facilities and breakfast if you want to have it. Just outside the centre so it's handily placed. Would stay again if I was in Vienna cos hotel is decent enough.

Budget is the best way to describe this hotel. It provides everything that you may need and nothing extra. It is in a good location just a 5 minute walk from a metro stop outside of the city centre and it provides everything that you might need. Would suggest going with someone that you are comfortable with as the shower is not in a separate room and the toilet had no lock.

This is a pretty standard Ibis budget hotel; it's adequate for those looking to stay in a cheap hotel in Vienna. The location is good, about a five to ten minute walk from Praterstern train station and Prater theme park. The centre of Vienna is also walkable from the hotel - about 35-40 minutes. The hotel was clean and check in was fine. The beds weren't overly comfortable and the shower being in the same room as the bedroom isn't ideal if you're travelling with friends but it's normal for this ... Read more

I booked online and the system only allow me to buy breakfast for the entire stay instead of just the days I needed breakfast. I called customer service but was told that I need to check with the hotel. Check-in was a breeze. The lady was very apologetic but was unable to give me a refund for the day that I cannot have the breakfast because I was checking out before the breakfast service starts. She told me that she will make a note and get someone to pack a breakfast for me to go. But o... Read more

Great quality/price option, near centrum and 800 m walk to Prater Park. Really the best choice for youngsters, families, tourists and even business. Very clean and excellent service. I recommend it warmly. It's our choice every time we're in Vienna.

Hotel is close to metro, rooms are tidy and clean. They gave us a disabled rooms so bathroom was huge. Only drawback is that we didn't have a hairdryer in the room and asked the concierge if we can rent one and they gave us. But if we didn't ask we wouldn't be able to know. They should put some information inside the rooms about it or while checking in at the hotel. Staff was kind and helpful.

Nothing much to speak about.... a typical ibis hotel. An easy walk from Erdberg station, is the hotel's best feature. Also, two supermarkets, one to the left of the hotel building and one attached to the fuel station right in front of the hotel (which I think is even 24 hours). We did not have breakfast at the hotel, so can't comment on the quality of food.

Great location right next to prater park and then obviously the station; so everywhere is easily accessible. Hotel itself was nice and cheap and you get what you expect: everything you need to be comfortable. Room was clean and didn't encounter a single problem. 5 star for budget hotels

I was there on 3rd of September with my 2 dogs. I arrived very late in the evening. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful, which was what I needed after 8 hours drive. Since I travel a lot with my dogs for shows I like very basic hotels and ibis is perfect. You have everything you need but not too many decorations. I think it is a good standard for a budget hotel. All in all I was very happy with my stay.

Cheap hotel but verry nice and clean. And the location is excellent, near Prater. In 10 minutes, by subway you can go to the city Center. The staff of the hotel is verry kind. There are small restaurants in the area.

This hotel is all you need for a budget break in Vienna. Spotlessly clean, functional rooms, helpful staff and great location (and cheap!), close to subway. We walked into the city centre from the hotel and the Prater amusement park with the giant ferris wheel is only minutes away.

These can be considered micro units. They aren't cramped, but they have consolidated a lot of items in the room. There is A/C, TV, wifi, small sink, small shower, and toilet. It is clean and minimal. The only gripe is that it is very far away from other things in Vienna. While it is near the Prater, you'll have to travel quite a bit to get to the city center, and the metro that runs near the hotel does not go close to the center. Clean accommodations, but inconvenient location.

You may judge this hotel by its cover :) Caters to all your basic requirements. The connectivity is good too as it is 3 min walk from Vorgartenstra?e station. This station is preferable to Praterstern if you hv heavy luggage. Being near to Prater is an added advantage. The staff is helpful. Only the air conditioning in room was below par. Overall the hotel has decent rooms, good staff, good connectivity and offers full value for money.

Clean, quiet and safe room in a nice locality. Close to the Metro and just two stops away from the main center of town. Internet speed was satisfactory. Did not try the breakfast ....so I can't comment on the food. There are a number of super-markets and restaurants nearby.
