The best part of this hotel is the location. Right next to Landstrasse station, you have access to any location in Vienna. The hotel is a standard Hilton hotel. Classic lounge and furnishings. The view we had was of another building. Ask for a view of Stadtpark. The breakfast charge is excessive (31‚?¨). There are many places across the street that have wonderful breakfast for 10‚?¨. The concierge(s) were outstanding--their knowledge of the city and things to do (or NOT to do) were beyo... Read more

A fairly basic hotel, but in a good location. Handy to the underground and many restaurants within walking distance. Good buffet breakfast and friendly staff. Some areas of the hotel are looking in need of refurbishing, which tended to lower the standard.

Excellent room. Great firm mattress with white crisp sheets. The room was very warm even in May and the A/C was definitely under powered. The hallways were extremely warm. Nice views of the river and cathedral from the room. Free wifi if you are a Hilton honors member. Nice breakfast with meat, cheese, eggs, potatoes, bacon, and much more. Additionally, there is a chef that will cook omelets, waffles and more. Very surprised the concierge is only on site very limited hours and the fro... Read more

Stayed 7 nights here and found it very comfortable. The rooms have all you need and the bed is very comfortable. Breakfasts have full Buffett and very efficient. Caters well to large groups and really good conference facilities. Good location across from train station and supermarket etc. walking distance to great restaurants and across the road from Stadtpark. The team are very friendly and helpful and the S'Parks restaurant is wonderful.

The location right by the Mitte station was awesome. You can take the S7 train (runs every 30 minutes) to the airport for like 5 euros (the front desk will try to sell you express tickets for 11 euros to save 8 minutes- not worth it to us!). The walk into the city was easy for us and we enjoyed being kind of removed from the hustle and bustle. Our big issue was with room service. We wanted ice for our beverages and since there is not an ice bucket in the room, had to have it delivered. We waited... Read more

Decent business hotel - rooms could do with some updating and my room had been smoked in which was not so pleasant - not keen on that stale tobacco smell. Just check your bill carefully - had breakfast added "by mistake" two days in a row. No apologies from reception staff who said that it was automatically added and you had to ask to take it off...very weird. In my case that was ‚?¨44 for the two days...

First off, if you are taking a taxi, be prepared to explain which Hilton you're wanting. There are a few others in Vienna and drivers don't seem to want to take you to this one. Spent two nights at the beginning of the trip and one at the end. This is more of a business hotel, so it's surprising that wi-fi is not free in rooms. You can get it ... at 10 Euro/24 hours. Everything is just so so. Pretty clean although bathrooms are in need of reno. Concierge was unable to give good directions for wa... Read more

CAT (City Airport Train) to Wien Mitte just across the street, with a supermarket in the same complex to buy anything you need. An easy walk to most of the city sites, restaurants, and lovely Stadtpark across the road. We found the staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very good. Rooms and facilities also very good. Stayed a night at the stadtpark hilton in vienna, as my usual hotel was booked out. Room and bath ok, slept well so no real complaints there. But over $30 extra for a buffet breakfast is overdone, and charging $10 for internet usage is an insult. I guess the idea is to publish competitive rates on hotels.com etc. as a come on, then hit em with whatever you can. This may appear clever to the marketing people, but won't win over many new hilton fans. Sure hope my usual vienna hotel has space for ... Read more

Negatives: -Took 1.5 hours to bring hair conditioner to my room (I phoned several times). -As a Hilton Honors member, was told that my stay is irrelevant to their loyalty program, since the reservation was made indirectly. The hotel is fantastic, the rooms are comfy, the breakfast fabulous, but one thing that is totally unacceptable, no free Wi-Fi in your rooms, unless you pay. we were on a tour, so they don't accept that we are Hilton Honors members already, but because we were with a tour, that does NOT count. Hilton still get our money, no matter who did the booking, but they could not cough up with free Wi-Fi??? the reception is FULL of travellers who are forced to sit down there while they talk to loved ones.... First time in Vienna. Location pretty good. Rooms on the smallish side (two people max with cases stretches the friendship). Biggest issue personally and this is becoming a constant issue wherever you may go. The bathrooms are shower over bath with quite a steep step in and out. This is very dangerous to a lot of people but I accept the fact that the age of the buildings and designs is a major undertaking to renovate. The location to the city centre is quite good with a 15-20 minute walk and you... Read more

We always make a choice up front: Hilton, or something more local? Those are our only options. Once we decide on Hilton for whatever reason, we know there are some trade-offs there and expectations are managed accordingly. All that said, this was a great spot for a 5 night stay. The location was superb: across the street from the train station that the airport CAT arrives at, which is also a major hub for other connections, and a mall to boot. I stayed here for 1 night when visiting Vienna on business. I've stayed in Hilton's all over the world and, on the whole, the Hilton Vienna met all expectation. Check in was reasonably quick and my room was ready, although I was checking in around 7pm so I didn't expect a delay. What I hadn't expected was this was an evening where they were holding an event ("Work-A-Tonic"), which meant the hotel was extremely busy with visitors and the large lobby/bar area was essentially turned into a night ... Our first Hilton stay when as soon as we entered the room we wanted to leave! We have stayed at Hiltons all over the world and we had never come across a more shabby hotel in terms of poor upkeep of rooms, cheap furnishings or absolutely unfathomable carpets in the room for a 4-star hotel. The reception was sympathetic and said that the refurbishment for the hotel was long overdue. Rest usual Hilton standard, good breakfast, attentive staff. Minibar fridge has room for an extra fruit or beer. Internet is fringe the lobby, maybe some rooms, but be sure to take the last option on the web page. First option is 10 euros a day. This hotel is the easiest possible from the Vienna airport (simply take the CAT train and you're at the Hilton, in the heart of Vienna). Personalized contact from guest services in advance ensures a smooth check-in. Once you're there, you're in the heart of Vienna with all public transportation immediately accessible.

Handily placed next to the City Airport Train terminal - this hotel was very comfortable with excellent friendly service and a great breakfast - highly recommended. Also well placed for access to the old city.

The location is splendid, all that you would like to see in Vienna is reachable by public transport. People of the hotel are very friendly and helpful. Room was of a good size, nice view from the 12 level. Try the Executive floor if you can.

Great choice for our first trip to Vienna. The hotel is right across the CAT (City Airport Train) station, which is a great convenience even with large suitcases. It is a 10 minute walk to the most of the historical sites in the inner city through or along the park across the hotel. The executive floor was a good option for a convenient breakfast and afternoon cocktails and snacks. The free internet for HHonors members was great too. The express checkout was very convenient as well.

Was able to catch the metro subway train (U1) from the Vienna train station to the hotel. It was only about 4 to 5 stops away, although I had change lines at one of the stations. The hotel was next to one of the stops for the Hop On Hop Off Bus tour and also about 20 minutes walk from the city center (where St Stephen's Cathedral is located). Just across the road from from the hotel, you will find a shopping mall which includes a number of eateries and 2 supermarkets. I could even catch a City A... Read more

The positive first. You can not best the location of this hotel. 16 minute direct train from the airport and the hotel is right opposite the train station. 10 minutes walk ( which is safe to do at night) and you are in the main square. 15 minutes walk to the opera. The hotel is inviting and check-in was painless. I got there several hours before check-in and my room read bit ready but they found me the same room in a lower floor without hassle. The room was nicely appointed but some small main... Read more

I stayed here for 2 todays in July. The room was spacious and had nice furniture. The bar area in the hotel's lobby was nice and one could spend here a relaxing evening. The only downside for this hotel was the smoke in the breakfast are. All the smoke from cooking omletes and bacon was evacuated inside the room (no ventilation) and after I left the breakfast are, my clothes were smelling as if I was the cook.

If you arriving by flight the Hilton Vienna is probably one of your best options as the train station is opposite hotel ( no more than 60 meters ). The train is only 16 minutes from the airport. Hotel is a good four star with a good restaurant and bar area. Staff inconsistent from excellent to average , a number of trainees who are better that some of the others around. A nice park opposite hotel and the main attractions in walking distance. Given the rate on offer is acceptable a very good... Read more

Location was great, as people have said 16 mins from airport on CAT train, non stop. Hotel is outside the small shopping centre. Hotel was a very easy 5 -10 min walk to the centre, big bus tour was easy to pick up also 5-10 walk. The hotel itself was not the best Hilton I have stayed in but it was fine for our needs, the main downside were the rooms were too hot even with the ac on -5, the second night we opened the window which helped a little but neither of us slept well for our stay. Great hotel in a great location. 10 minutes walk from the centre and across the bridge from the hotel you can get the sightseeing tour bus. Our trip was stress free with all these facilities so close by. The CAT train from the airport stops right opposite the hotel and if you pre-book you can get a return journey for 17 euros. The hotel was excellent, the breakfast was delicious with plenty of selection. A stay in this hotel is a must when visiting Vienna.

My stay was immensely comfy. However, it is not surprising, because this hotel is pretty good. I really enjoyed the residence time in my room. It is quite well-established as well as the other part of your hotel. Over and above the staff has a lot on the ball and at the same time everybody is attentive and thoughtful. I'd highlight the housekeeping team! Under my stay, they were always smiling and helpful. In short I'm sure, next time I will choose this hotel!
