Loved this place with plenty of bio and local produce, green court yard, and cheap parking close by! The water is heated via pannels on their roof. Great choice when staying close to the center of Vienna. My choice during our next visit!

Loved this hotel instantly. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Great location. Impressive green court yard. Excellent choice for spending few nights in Wien. Since I have found it, I think it will become the only hotel I will ever chose for my Vienna trips.

Can't speak highly enough about this hotel from check in to check out. The staff on reception were friendly, very informative and extremely helpful with info on the nearby public transport systems. All spoke good English. The rooms were very comfortable and well equipped. Scrupulously clean. Great decor throughout the hotel. A delightful courtyard garden for drinks and breakfast. The breakfast was excellent. Self service with very fresh produce and bakery. All delicious. 6 of us went here and... Read more

We were there with other two friends for the Corrs concert. We liked very much the beautiful garden and more then that the amazing organic breakfast. I remembered tastes long time forgotten and I was glad to notice their care for nature. The only things that could be improved would be something for bugs protection because due to all the plants if you open the window you have good chances to have them inside and maybe a rethinking of the bathrooms.

Ideal after a concert, but it's also easy to reach the city center and Schönbrunn as well. Very nice neighbourhood, parks, cafés, Billa within 200m. Kind and helpful staff, nice rooms. Only thing missing: a small fridge in the room!

3 of us stayed for a short trip in Vienna (2 days only). We arrived very early in the AM and for 10 more Euros we were able to check in early. The patio area is a gem - we were so tired from our flight that it was very pleasant to hang out in the patio in the afternoon, having coffee, wine while reading a book - just relaxing. The breakfast is excellent as well as the staff. From the moment you check in you certainly feel a very good flow of energy. The location is outstanding, very close to the... Read more

We found this hotel close enough to the centre of Vienna, yet in a very quite corner with litterally no passing by traffic. The car park was very practical and reasonably priced. All personnel was very amiable and caring. Breakfast was gorgeous. The room was decorated with old and cleverly reused objects, raw pieces of wood, and a nicely designed LED lighting. The room was amazingly quite in the absence of any electrical device (yes, no fridge, no airco). The hotel garden was inhabited by nice s... Read more

I stayed in this hotel for two night in June. Originally I was booked for the economy rooms but, it was too small. After requesting to change, I was given a much bigger and much nicer room for an extra 10 Euro a night. The hotel is in a nice location but not in the city centre so, you need to catch a tram or metro to go to the touristic places of Vienna. Hotel is very pretty itself and everything served in their breakfast is organic and natural. The breakfast buffet was great in terms or taste a... Read more

Fantastic hotel. Loved the idea of an eco hotel when I booked my stay and was not disappointed. My budget room had everything I needed in it and was plenty big enough for me. The staff were extremely helpful and did everything they could to assist me. There was a wide range of foods to chose from for breakfast, with plenty of local and organic choices available. Great location with good transport links within a 5-10 minute walk. Would be more than happy to stay there again.

We really loved our 5 day stay at this hotel. The staff were all incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel is about 2 blocks from a tram line that takes you right to the Ring, and is about 6 blocks from a U station, train station, and other tram lines. The breakfasts were great--all the usual choices, plus more fresh vegetables than usual and oatmeal. The interior garden courtyard is charming. We enjoyed having a beer in the garden in the evening. Stadhalle is a few blocks away, so this is a po... Read more

We stayed here for a couple of nights while visiting relatives in Vienna. I loved the idea of staying at a low carbon footprint hotel and booked despite higher price on the website. However I am disappointed now. Allow me to point out the positive points: * The staff are very helpful - 1 star. * The breakfast was excellent - 1 star. * The courtyard is an oasis - 1 star. That's it - 3 star. Now the negatives: The furniture are old and not maintained well. The doors won't shut. There ... Read more

The staff was extremely accommodating. A beautiful hotel. The room, though a bit small, had windows that could be opened to let the fresh air in. But because it is a green hotel, there is no air-conditioning and it got quite warm in the afternoons. Breakfasts were delicious. The garden area was very pleasant and quiet where having drinks made for a great setting.

My partner and I stayed here as our last stop on a multi-stop trip through Austria but were left hot and tired due to problems with the hotels eco friendly cooling system. Room - The room was ok, a bit underwhelming but bedroom was nice enough, however the bathroom was a strange setup. The shower and separate toilet has a hard plastic shell rather than more traditional furnishings, which to be honest felt like camping facilities, not beautiful Vienna style. Small television miles from the bed, ... Read more

We started in a 'standard room' which was very spacious but we couldn't cope with street noise in the wee hours of the morning so after two nights we paid to upgrade to a 'comfort room'. This was certainly quieter, being away from the street but considerably more compact-particularly the bathroom. Given that we were asked on arrival if we wished to upgrade made us think that many others also find the street noise an issue. The hotel prides itself on being energy self sufficient through use of s... Read more

Hotel was very convenient to the West Bahnhof with public transportation to all areas of Vienna. I enjoyed my stay very much. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and the lovely central garden provided a relaxing place to read a book or enjoy a glass of wine. Standard rooms are not large but they are comfortable. I would book this hotel again.

This eco friendly hotel is located in an interesting area of Viena, the staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast is very good (not excellent), and they sell the Vienna Card (very useful). But I missed a fridge inside the room (I know it's an eco friendly hotel, but it should be informed previously - a fridge inside the room makes all difference for me, specially to store goods bought in the supermarket), very limited amenities and the door of the loo is translucid, a bit embarassing if you'r... I had to go to Vienna for a week-long conference in July and this hotel was one of those recommended. I liked the idea that it is a green hotel with five stories of solar panels on one wall that make it energy autonomous; a green roof; and recycled rain water for the toilets and gardens. It has a center courtyard garden with pleasant nooks where you can relax in the evenings and have breakfast in the morning. A window I could open overlooked the garden. We spent a week here in July visiting main attractions in Vienna and taking a day trip to Budapest using the train. Our room was stylish and comfortable and contrary to other reports, we thought the price was very reasonable with what one should expect for a major European destination: if anything, good value to London or Paris. Trams and subway links are all close at hand. Staff were exceptionally helpful with advice (transportation, restaurant bookings, hotel services), and breakfasts were d... Read more

I stayed in this hotel with my 11 year old daughter on a special 3-night city trip. I chose it for its green ethos, and for the appealing pictures of the rooms and breakfast! We requested, and got, a twin room with the bed heads separated by a high headboard. This made the evenings very comfortable: I could read with the light on, while wee one slept on the 'dark side'. The room was indeed as promised, very comfortable, with a large window which opened up to a beautiful green and cool (!) cour... Read more

We the cab dropped me off in this uninspiring street, I thought oh oh I made a mistake. Not so From the hanging ivy over four stories, the field of lavendet on the 2nd story roof, relaxing courtyard, the apple placed in your room every day, to the outstanding breakfast, this place is a gem. If you don't mind a short ride via public transport, you need to experience this total eco-friendly place.

My wife and I were booked in here by local friends. We loved it. It's right by a tram stop that is a quick 10 minute ride from the Ring Road just a couple blocks from the Opera house. The service here was great, the rooms clean and well arranged. But the best was the free breakfast. Indoor/outdoor eating and a wide array of cheeses, fresh fruit, juices, fresh baked bread and goodies. The hotel also touts itself as an environmentally friendly place with zero net emissions. We enjoyed four nights with our two children here. The service was top and we felt very welcome. Parking worked well, allthough rather tight. The family room was just perfect and the Kids had their own little space. The breakfast was very rich and tasty. The "green" concept is impressive and the inner courtyard a great place to relax after the city trip.

I don't often think I owe a hotel/resort etc. a great review. I pay for what I get and my expectations have been high over the years. In the matter of our visit to this hotel, I definitely owe the highest rating I can get. The reviews I have read were pretty much right on and the place deserves the "glow". I got a super extra which was not at all due, but extremely nice. We had packed heavy and had only one night to spend in the Stadthalle since they were booked up. The evening we stayed... Read more

We loved the idea of this eco- friendly hotel having made a big carbon footprint to fly from NZ. The organic deli-style breakfast was delicious and wholesome. As we stayed over a long weekend, we didn't experience some of the traffic noise problems that other prior guests have complained about, although those pigeons can make a racket at 4am nearing in the greenery on the street front of the hotel! The hotel itself was beautiful and the room was spacious and comfortable. They are an eco-friendly hotel and are as green as they can possibly be! The breakfast buffet was all organic and there was lots of choice, a delicious way to start the day. The room was quiet even though we were facing a road. We choose this hotel because it was walking distance from the train station, breakfast was included and the reviews of breakfast were so positive. It did not disappoint! We felt safe in the neighborhood walking around at night to/from the metro. Anyone who is disappointed in breakfast is probably never satisfied with anything because it has something to offer for everyone!

Staff are friendly and the hotel is very clean. Came with my parents for a quick visit to Vienna and all three of us shared one room. The bathroom setting is a bit awkward (curtain around the bathroom which is slightly see through) but it is because it serves the purpose of being an eco friendly hotel, so can't really complain about that.

Hotel is very nice. Rooms are clean and nice however cramped. TV is silly small - if one needs it (we did not even switch on...). Sound isolation is below average - you can hear hairdryer in the room above/next. Breakfast is good, selection limited but very tasty, so no issue to eat even 3-4 days. Staff is very nice and helpful. It takes about 30-40 mins walking to Vienna old town. You can also take tram 49 and be there in 10 mins. Great place to stay - courtyard is very green, staff are very friendly, and the organic breakfast is awesome and delicious! The place is not air conditioned, which was not an issue for us (we visited in mid-August), but I can imagine that in an extreme summer it could be a bit hot and stuffy. My family and I stayed here for 8 nights in mid September. We booked it on the strength of the reviews on Trip Advisor and were not disappointed. The hotel is, as other reviewers have said, outside the centre of the city but in my view that is a plus point. It afforded a degree of peace and quiet as its location is on a side street with little traffic and also it meant that the restaurants nearby were catering for locals rather than tourists with prices reflecting that. We found it very easy to... Read more
