The exceptional service at the Rathauspark left my company with an international experience. Specifically, it was the morning breakfast experience with Melissa Rosal. It is my first time in Austria, and Melissa made me feel welcomed as if we have been best friends for a long time. My colleagues and I woke up every morning looking forward to hearing her greeting. Impressive, because she could greet my company in Deutsch, English, Tagalog, Chinese, and even Spanish. This is a deal breaker for my g... Read more

I and my two friends decided to take a girlie trip to Vienna ‚??and we were all so glad we found this hotel. The hotel is in a great location it only took us around 15 minutes to walk from the station to the hotel (stopping for a few beers along the way) on the way back we took a uber taxi to the airport and it cost us 30 euros which was great. It is also within walking distance to the main shops and bars. We all managed to stay in the same room and the room was very spacious. When we first arr... Read more

The Austria Trend hotels are a warranty for quality. This hotel does not change the rule: located in one of the numerous old traditional buildings that make the charm of Vienna, in the centre, 10 minutes walk from the very centre. I had a single, very simple room, and the feeling to be home. No superfluous luxury, just what is necessity. Discretion seems to be the right word. Very pleasant and helpful staff, simple but very good breakfast. Can only be recommended!

my first experience was on check-in when, even my room was paid 2 weeks ago, my credit card was charged the second bad experience was with the room an the second floor - comfort room, with a lot of hair in bathroom and in the room, stained bed and carpet the bathroom was so small that if you suffer of claustrophobia you could not get in it, the door from the shower with a strange closing system- all the water goes on the floor, noisy fan ..... no international programs available on tv, only... This hotel is perfectly situated within walking distance of all major Vienna sights. Also, there are two subway stops within few minutes walking distance, in addition to a tram station. Hotel is clean, quiet in the evening with large bathrooms compared to othee European hotels we have stayed at. Staff were always very helpful and ready to answer any questions. Also, compared to other hotels we looked at, the price point of this hotel is worth it. Would definitely reccomend if all you're looking... Read more

The location of the hotel is near the main attraction sites: St Stephan Cathedral is 20 mins by walk, Vienna Opera around 30 mins. During our 4 nights stay and exploration of the city we didn‚??t use the public transport at all. The hotel was quiet, our room windows were facing towards Rathausstrasse, but it wasn‚??t noisy. A grocery store is nearby. The room itself is quite small with all standard facilities, however the bed‚??s location wasn‚??t comfortable. One side of the bed was against ... Read more

We spent three nights here, the first of which was ruined by some very anti-social and inconsiderate people in the room next door, who had a blazing argument at three o'clock in the morning (not in any way the fault of the hotel, might I add). The hotel is well located, with nearby subway station and plenty of the city's key attractions within walking distance. Vienna is a beautiful city - it was our first time there, but hopefully not our last. I was a little disappointed with the hotel though.... Read more

I spent one night at 6th floor. It was small but cozy. Breakfast was better than same class hotels I stayed in Europe. The building is old but inside is furnished well. Location of the hotel is also an advantage. We recommend.

We stayed for 5 nights in two rooms from June 28 to July 3. At the check in we were told that we can enjoy a free upgrade with free non-alcoholic drinks and snacks from the minibar and were given detailed instructions on what we can take free of charge. At the check out we were told to pay for all the items that were taken and my credit card was charged for the full price of all the items , although we followed the instructions for "free" items. I find it really distasteful (and frankly, fraudu... Read more

The hotel exterior was antique, but inside was modern. The front desks were friendly, the room was standard, clean and tidy. Safe and quiet location, within walking to City Hall, Museums, Cathedral, Parliament and many more. No need to explain twice to the taxi driver about the hotel address, bec he knew it precisely. Standard full breakfast, the waitress served us was friendly.

More or less exactly right. Nice staff, comfy bed, good shower, safe, air con, good breakfast, quite, tv, free daily apple... Tried to get me to upgrade to bigger room but I declined and I was fine. Excellent location for the university and close to metro and tram links.

We stayed here for 2 nights...had 2 separate rooms as we were traveling with our 2 teenagers. We had a standard room, which is the least expensive. These are super small rooms. We are ok with that...just called it cozy. The shower was about the size of the one in our trailer! But, the price was good, rooms were clean and nice, and location was super.

This is not a four star hotel, it perhaps just about gets three. The carpet in our room was dirty and stains were on the side of the bed. It was also missing half a window frame. Not very impressed and they weren't particularly friendly. They have free apples though.

Stayed here on recent visit to Vienna. Family had two rooms, one classic and one comfort. The classic room was easily the smallest hotel room I have ever been in. The comfort room was slightly larger. We were only there 2 nights so room size was not a big deal. The rooms and hotel were very clean. Front desk staff and night bartender at small lobby bar were all very helpful and friendly. It's a few block walk to the Ubahn and to some restaurants and is kind of tucked away on a side street... This is a basic hotel which is in a central location - great for exploring Vienna. The rooms were quiet and had the basic amenities including a mini bar, TV and safe. The staff were friendly and very helpful; however, the pillows are too soft and the room did not have blackout curtains, so be prepared for early sunrises. . Free wif-fi was a bonus - but the extra 16 Euros for breakfast is a bit expensive, so we suggest eating out.

All the staff members I was in contact with--email respondents, receptionists, cleaning ladies, breakfast room persons, and bartender--worked hard and answered my calls for information or help thoroughly and most pleasantly. Room was impeccably clean, and environmentally conscious. Breakfast had a very good variety. Location was excellent to go to places of interest, on foot or by subway (station within a few minutes of walk).

I was very impressed with what I received from the hotel. I had a single room but it was well designed, comfortable and the air conditioning was good. At first, I thought the breakfast was very pricey (16 euro if you have the full breakfast but they have a coffee and croissant option which is much cheaper). A brief acquaintance with Viennese prices showed that it was actually a very good deal- an omelette, fruit juice and coffee at any of the nearby cafes would cost as much. Considerably more if... Hotel rooms were too small, hygiene level is very low, laundry service is outsourced & will not help you if you have a meeting to catch coz they close early evening & don't deliver back the clothes before 9-10 am & if you need to iron ur clothes they can't send you an iron to your room, instead they have an ironing room where they keep one iron & an iron board so imagine if couple of guests are down at the same time to press their clothes.. I stayed at this hotel for three wonderful nights. My room was tiny but spotless. Bed and pillows were perfect (i have never slept better in a hotel). I loved the apples for free offered in the room and at the hotel hallways. The hotel is at the perfect location for tourists since it is close to the subway, and on walking distance from the very heart of Vienna (stephensplatz etc). This hotel is also a great choice for anyone having a conference at the university since it is accross the street.

I was here on a conference trip. This is a very nice hotel extremely close to city hall and the main church. You can easily walk around the central area and sites from here, also only about 15 minutes walk to the canal. There are a number of good restaurants nearby. All in all very good location. The street/area where the hotel is located is also quiet. Room was excellent, no complaints and the breakfast was fully stocked with friendly staff. This is obviously not a budget hotel, but for the pri... Read more

Myself, my wife and my son stayed here for 4 nights and had a great time. This we did and the room was great with tv, shower, hairdryer etc. We also got free drinks, so no complaints from me:-)!
