Really excellent location. 2 min. walk from the main underground station. Pedestrian street noisy at night. Request high floors or even better, rooms to the opposite direction. The AC can be a little more powerful.

You cannot stay at a more central location in Vienna! Right on the main shoppingstreet, a few meters to both Stephansdome and Hofburg. If you can, ask for a room facing Neuer Markt strasse, not Kärtnerstrasse; lots of noise all of the day and evening from Kärtnerstrasse because of bad insulated windows... We solved it by using earplugs, no problem then. We didn't try the breakfast; it was cheaper going right outside to eat, and much nicer to eat out in the sun! We walked 2 min to Stephansplaz ... This is an excellent hotel in almost all respects Fantastic breakfast buffet and the location is basically the best you can have in Vienna.Only one issue that I encountered was that while the rooms are advertised s air conditioned they weren't. Opening the window for cooler air at night resulted in lots of noise distractions partly due to the location and number of late night rowdy people. With th window closed it was very quiet.

Stayed there for one night, really enjoyed it! The room was beautiful, clean and taken care of, lots of storage space and space for my luggage, it also has a safe, which was quite convenient. I totally recommend it!

The hotel is located in the very heart of Vienna, few steps from all the importent tourist sites. The hotel's staff members are very polite, nice and helpful. The breakfast is very rich and delicious. The room we got was O.K.

We stayed here for a city break, the hotel is modern, clean and comfortable. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff who were all really helpful. Breakfast is great and has a wide selection of foods available, rooms are comfortable to allow for a great nights sleep. Location wise the hotel is ideally placed in Vienna. We would certainly stay here again.

I use to stay since many years in this hotel mainly because of the position and the personnel.... I enjoyed every time and I appreciate that everyone knows me and knows my expectations. In the last visit I was really disappointed by the quality of front desk service, new employees... No smile, a lot of formalities unnecessary and on top of it, being with a delegation from my country I made a reservation at a restaurant in the city... Big mistake... I went to the restaurant and I found out that I... Read more

The best location possible. Located on Kärntnerstra?e Shopping Street, this hotel was walking distance from Saint Stephen's Cathedral, Albertina museum and the State Opera. We had a twin sharing classic room which was very small and crammed but the front office upgraded us on request to a bigger and spacious room. The breakfast spread was great and staff efficient. We were provided a tea kettle on request and the staff was always courteous and helpful.

Hotel has a great location right in the heart of Vienna shopping area with many great cafes, restaurants, and shopping all around. Museums and sites all within easy walking distance as well. Room was just average and fairly expensive. Staff was not rude, but not friendly --- very business-like.

Trend Hotel Europa is one of greatest located hotels in Vienna, just in the middle of everywhere, 5-10 minutes walking distance to many touristic attractions. The rooms are not so big, I fit well on my own but I do not how it will look like if I was sharing the room. The breakfast was moderate. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was there for business but I can recommend this hotel both for business and touristic activities.

We booked this hotel for mid July 2016, as it has excellent reviews and the location seems to be easily accessible by metro yet is right in the center of town. Unfortunately, my fiancee was laid off from work a month before our trip, and as she is on a visa in the USA, we had to cancel our vacation to find her another job before the 30-day grace period for H-1 visa transfer expired. With 3 weeks to go before our trip, I canceled the reservation. The hotel was not willing to refund even one dol... Read more

Located in front of a Fountain Square, next to a major pedestrian road full of shops and eating places, a short walk from some major attractions....whatever the hotel may lack it more than compensates otherwise. Would like to especially compliment Ms. Hiller who makes eggs to order at the breakfast buffet. We have travelled across scores of countries and had breakfast in more than a hundred hotels across the world, but never come across anyone who makes eggs to order with such care, including i... We booked a room in this hotel in mid July, as it had excellent reviews and a great location. This review is intended to inform other travelers of their booking and cancellation policies. Late June, my fiancee was laid off from her work in the USA. She is there on an H-1 visa which has an unofficial grace period of 30 days to find new work, or you lose your status and have to leave the country. So needless to say we had to cancel our vacation and focus on finding her a new job. When we contact... Read more

I stayed for four nights with my wife and child, at the Austria Trend Europa. Because of the extra bed, we got a welcomed upgrade to our room, wich was more spacious. The rating of the hotel could be much higher, but sleeping quality is a key point for me. The room had a lousy black out, wich let light from the outside to get in. Sun up was at 4.50 am, wich basically meant that i could not sleep. For the same reason, my child also woke up very early wich made her grumpy for the rest of the day. ... Read more

We had an overnight stay here recently. Hotel was reasonably modern, rooms for the most part were clean with exception to the bathroom that had mould in the tile grout and some hair on the floor... We found the breakfast to be substantial however everything we tasted seemed to be really salty. Excepted the bathroom to be abit more up to date and clean other than this it was reasonable accommodation for the price.

The location was excellent and the overall value was ok. However, the room looked a bit old, it was not very clean, the walls were scratched and I would strongly recommend against using their parking valet service. We had some unpleasant experiences with it.

Whenever I arrive at a hotel and prepare to check in, I always feel slightly apprehensive about the place. I would even go as far as to say that I judge the place immediately by what I see in the lobby and the attitude of the people on the front desk. This, of course, is not right, in the same way that one should never judge a book by its cover. From the word go, however, the Austria Trend Europa in Vienna, was perfect and I had no cause to complain about anything. I had flown British Airways f... Read more

I stayed at the Austria Trend Hotel Europa while attending a business meeting in Vienna. Most reviews are fairly positive about the hotel, its in a good location, the rooms are comfortable and clean and so on - no problems there. Where I had a problem (first time this has happened in 20 years of business travel) was on my first night. Tired from travel I was in bed and asleep by 11.30pm. Just before 1am I woke up to see a man standing at the end of my bed. I tried to get my bearings for a few se... Read more

Hotel really couldn't have been in a better location. Rooms are small, but the bed was comfortable and everything was very clean. After several years of travel, I still can't figure out why most European hotels only provide a bath and hand towel, no wash cloth. But I've learned to just bring my own, so it's not specific to this hotel. My one complaint is that our door did not have a deadbolt. We didn't have any issues, but it still made me a bit uneasy. We enjoyed a very comfortable stay. Since ours was a smoking room it was a bit bigger compared to non smoking room. The location of this hotel is amazing. Literally on the main shopping square and the opera is 2 minutes away. Very comfortable hotel except that non smoking rooms are much smaller and we wish breakfast was included in the cost.

What I'd call a no frills 'business' hotel, extremely central and efficient, without being particularly memorable. +plusses+ Location is perfect. On/by the Kärtner Stra?e, with the main entrance at the back overlooking the square. Perfect for a city trip where you don't want to have to use lots of trams or taxis. Modern & clean. There are a lot of good reviews here so I am guessing that some of the rooms are good and the rest are in desperate need of cleaning and renovating. This is not a cheap hotel so I cannot understand why they are proud to place guests in dirty rooms. Very disappointed.

This hotel could not be more centrally located. We were able to explore and walk everywhere during our time in Vienna and just loved this hotel. The rooms are very large and while they were modest and not the most exciting by way of decor, the rooms were very clean, comfortable and extremely quiet considering the location. Centrally located. The location is near the Neuer market, and Stephansdom. We had a view overlooking the fountain in the center that's filled with a lot of high class shops. Belvedere Palace is a 25 minutes leisurely walk away, while the Naschmarkt is 10 minutes away. We stayed for 3 days. The rooms were very large and spacious. Good colors. In the centre of the centre of Vienna in Kärtner Street. 2 minutes away from the St. Stephan's Cathedral. Room impeccable. Fabulous bed and lovely bathroom. If you are a light sleeper, ask for floor 3 or above. The hotel namely overlooks the busiest street in Vienna (it's a pedestrian zone, but millions of people and tourists walking there all night). Breakfast fabulous, but very busy between 8:30-9:15. Price is usually lower than other comparable hotels.
